Their fries then tasted good as well. This lasted for about 4-5 months. Then, one night we ordered and everything was wrong. Nothing tasted like it did before. The fries were fried in stale grease (can tell by color and taste). We didn't go back. Well, tonight I decided to give them a shot again. Needless to say, it was just as bad as the last time. Fries dark brown and gross. Hotdogs nor the chili tasted like they did when we first found them. No lie, my dog wouldn't eat the hotdog part I NEVER give bad reviews, but with times being harder and food being so expensive, I would hope someone would level with me. I'm not sure if there was an ownership change or food service change. Whatever happened around a year ago was NOT a change for the better.

There's something to be said about street cart food or something from a food truck; It's unique. This hotdog lady was accommodating and she's a nice person. I ordered a couple of their specials which would have been two double burgers and two fries on Texas toast! Well they told me they were out of that but I could have my burgers on buns instead! Well, that's not a biggie! I pulled around to the pickup window and immediately see four different beverage cups by the register. Employees were taking turns drinking out of them and talking on their phones on the job! That's still not a big deal! I didn't see any adults! This Sonic was staffed with teenagers! Now; that is a biggie to me! It's 9:00 pm more or less and no grownups to be seen? I assure you that's a recipe for a bad review from me! The employees were all joking around and dancing in the kitchen with a female who didn't appear to be in a work uniform. One of the sandwiches we ordered was cold and when returned to the store we were told it takes 10-15 minutes to cook more chicken. When trying to return the order we noticed the cashier never gave us a receipt and was told there was nothing that could be done. This is terrible customer service and as a former food service specialist the sanitation level was horrible. One employee had a personal cup in the area she was making food in, we see her drinking while prepping food as well as dancing.
