What a wonderful little piece of paradise found inside this little gem of a hotel. My 1st trip to Cabo and a friend is staying for a few months now in this hotel. Doesn't look like much from the outside but as soon as you step in the the courtyard which rises 3 stories covered with beautiful plants and vines crawling up the natural log timber construction, stained glass doors and open air feel to this amazingly clean and well kept property! I have been here just a few days now and today happens to be Thanksgiving. Victor the owner and his lovely wife and family cooked a full Turkey with all of the fixings dinner for everyone staying here along with some long time friends who stopped in. What an amazing treat for me who's family is so far away in Boston to get some amazing home cooking and spend some time with some great people. Now to move on to my accommodations. My friend is staying in a nice basic unit on the 1st floor. When she took me for a tour up to the 3rd floor where they have 2 roof top cabanas one on each side which are truly something out of a magazine. Indoor/outdoor bedroom with a hot tub on the patio, straw hut roof heavy red curtains which can be pulled for privacy! I can't imagine any 5 star resort in Cabo who would have a more authentic tropical experience as this place. Truly have to see to appreciate it! The staff here are amazing they go out of their way to direct you, find you the best deals, send you to the best resource etc. Cannot speak any higher of this 1st class hidden gem!!!! I cannot imagine visiting Cabo again and not wanting to stay here!!!!!

This is a quaint hotel with lots of character. A great place for a quick stay in the heart of Cabo that accepted our dogs and treated them with love. The staff is incredibly friendly and we will definitely come back the next time we roll through town with our furry kids. Thank you!!

3 story filled with so much color, traditional and cultural values, and just a great vibe

Wow. Just wow. 5 stars all around!!!!…read more I don't have a single complaint about the Waldorf which really blew my mind. Yes it is quite pricey but for once, the price is justified by the impeccable customer service, room quality, and maintenance of this resort. It is the perfect blend of modern and elegance and screams luxury without trying too hard. It's close to the marina as well so easy access to other restaurants, shopping, and tours. We stayed at a 3 bedroom villa and the week flew by. The rooms were spacious, well kept, clean, and stocked with everything you need. We had our own private plunge pool to soak in whenever we wanted to. You are greeted upon arrival with a welcome drink and they gifted the kids an adorable sugar turtle cookie when we departed! They offer sample drinks and popsicles at the pools. Their attention to detail is flawless and everything is well thought out. The resort has an adults only pool, a family infinity pool overlooking the ocean, and another shallow kids pool. Plenty of lounge chairs and was never too busy. The food was fantastic from the poolside kitchen to the on site property restaurants to the private chefs. Honestly some of the best food I've had in my life. The spa is world class and I highly recommend it. We had some of the best nail service, massages, and facials ever. Everyone is well trained and very skilled and experienced in their area of expertise. They have complimentary golf carts that take you anywhere on the property and we never had to wait for one. Everyone is so friendly, inviting, and professional. I truly appreciated everyone's hospitality and warmth. The best part was our private butler who cooked our meals, arranged all activities and transportation off the property, did laundry, and even found our missing shoes that flew across the resort! lol. Our butler Ricardo was amazing and such a delight to have. This is a once in a lifetime experience that everyone must indulge in. It's worth it.

It also comes with a fire place, which comes in handy at night. The room is also equipped with binoculars for whale watching, very thoughtful. The service was top tier, better than Ritz Carlton and other Wardolf location I've stayed at. You get a personal concierge that can help you with whatever you need 24/7. Shout out to my concierge Raquel, she made the stay so much smoother. The location is prime. Walking distance from a lot of restaurants, bars, and clubs. If you don't want to walk uber's about $5-10 bucks.

The property is a little dated, but it is meticulously maintained and staffed by very friendly, customer-service-oriented people. "Shout-out' to Ms. Nishme (concierge), Ms. Arely (concierge), Mr. Jesus (Talavera Bar & Restaurant), and Mr. Jiri (Vela Restaurant) for making my stay extremely enjoyable and catering to my daily needs as I bathed in a week of relaxation away from the daily commute and corporate grind. Perched above the resort with spectacular views of the pool and the sea beyond, you will find Jesus at Talavera blending the best margaritas and cocktails within the property, as you enjoy some of the best pub-like entrees and dishes reminiscent of local heritage with modern technique. Indoor-outdoor seating combines for a rustic, stylish , refreshing atmosphere after a day on the beach or poolside. Aside from this dining option, I highly recommend Vela for a romantic evening near the pool, enjoying Italian-influenced seafood, pastas, and meats paired with some eclectic Mexican wines that thrill one's palate. The morning breakfast buffet is quite enjoyable as well, offering Western and Mexican options along with fresh fruits, vegetables, breads, and juices, providing the perfect beginning to a sunny tropical day. Last but not least among the property's treasures are the expansive rooms overlooking the ocean, the numerous shops, and the amazing indoor/outdoor gym with state-of-the-art equipment. Some of the less attractive things about the hotel are the weak, expensive cocktails served poolside, beachside, and everywhere, with prices consistent across all venues and flavors and alcohol content very watered down. Talavera Bar is the only difference. Another notable matter is the 15% service charge on everything! And you find yourself tipping on top of the service charge! As a Diamond member, I receive a complimentary breakfast for two each day, but I was billed $12 service charge and a tip each morning. I would still recommend this hotel as a vacation destination for its beauty, tranquility, and comfortable suites.

The food was consistently good, and the Lazy River is definitely the standout feature and biggest selling point of the property. The rooms and grounds were well maintained, making for an enjoyable stay overall. That said, there were a few areas where the experience fell short. Pool service was inconsistent, and there often seemed to be a shortage of pool towels. Entertainment options were limited, and with only three restaurants on-site, dining choices felt somewhat restricted. Of the three, Latitud 23.5 was by far the best and the one we found ourselves returning to most often. Guests should also be prepared for a fairly aggressive timeshare presentation pitch. Additionally, the advertised complimentary 45-minute massage per room for direct online bookings appeared to be more of a marketing gimmick, as multiple staff members seemed unaware of the promotion during our stay. While we had a pleasant experience overall, we're likely to try a different resort next year. The Lazy River was the highlight, but the overall experience wasn't quite enough to bring us back.

The location is convenient, with a supermarket directly across the street. The property was nice and clean--perfect for a relaxing getaway that truly felt like a home away from home. The room had all the main kitchen necessities and more. We started in a garden-view room, and midweek we were able to upgrade to an ocean-view room, which was absolutely spectacular. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves was incredibly calming. The resort also offers beach access, and guests can borrow beach chairs and other items to relax by the water. There are several pools on-site, including a swim-up bar, and they often have live music in the evenings, which added to the atmosphere. The only downside was the on-site restaurant--the food was mediocre, so we preferred cooking in the room or going out to eat. There is a BBQ area available for guests, which was a nice option. I would definitely come back, though I'm not a fan of being approached by timeshare representatives.

To make matters worse, construction workers were using the area around the infinity pool, with large wooden beams blocking parts of the space. Instead of enjoying the beautiful pool, we had to deal with an active construction site. The constant sound of power drills and other construction equipment during the daytime completely ruined any chance of resting by the pool or relaxing in our room. Had we known that major construction was taking place, we would have chosen a different hotel. I understand that maintenance and improvements are sometimes necessary, but guests should be informed in advance, and the hotel should make every effort to minimize the impact on their stay. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of the relaxing vacation we had hoped for.

Awesome awesome awesome…read more I had the pleasure of staying here in March 2026 The staff is on another level of detail and service . Not my first all inclusive but for sure one of my top 3. Great location from the airport not very far and plenty of restaurants near by. It's also about a 10 minute cab to the marina where you can book the whale watching tours. I was lucky enough to actually see some whales on my trip absolutely phenomenal. Don't fall for the guys in the lobby trying to sell you tours from the resort, or the guys In the airport. My advise is to go to the marina early and ready to embark on your next adventure. After some price analysis these vendors will charge between 3-5 times the price for a excursion. It also depends on what you want . You can either be on a party boat with free food and unlimited drinks , or a boat by a hard working local that knows his stuff. Personally id rather go with the locals now their boats aren't the fanciest but you will be safe and you are providing income to a hard worker (please tip them in the end) Now the rooms are spacious and comfortable i had a partial ocean room and let me tell you hearing those waves every night was so soothing and relaxing. I literally gained like 10 pounds on that trip ... food food food unlimited breakfast and lunch buffets with a few restaurant options. They also had a dinner buffet if you missed your reservation or arrived late to one of their fantastic restaurants.(Crystal was my favorite) Now the pools are fantastic and those parties are something else foam and neon parties all were a fantastic time. Every night their was entertainment, what i love about the rui resorts is that if you stay at the palace you have access to the santa fe so you can swing over and check out what they have going on but from what I've observed rui palace had the better food and a more reserved croud but still fun!!! A expensive endeavor but if I get the chance I will definitely return

It was spring break time and the college crowd was in full swing at the resort next to ours. We were grateful it was not ours. This place offered a nice mix of clientele and amenities that you would want to have on your trip. The restaurant options were all very good and their food and service were excellent. We didn't have one bad meal, except for one dish (tempura at the Japanese restaurant). All the staff were amazing for the most part and your requests were met without issues. The one tip, if you're a water person, is to pre-request bottled water to your room early. There was several times we had to seek for our own water supply. Not the end of the world and not to say it was intentional. They were very busy with all the people. The grounds are well lit and well maintained. The staff was always working. The room was good for us with even our own mini bar and stocked fridge. The one downside was the noise from the entrainment and other people in the hallways. The noise carried into the room very loudly. The entertainment normally ended around 11 p.m. The other guests, however went throughout the night up until as late as 3 AM. This is an all-inclusive resort however, tipping was appreciated. So I would make sure you bring enough ones in fives for your trip. Also, you cannot swim at the beach front in front of the resort due to the under toe and waves. You can, however, walk down the beach to an area that is more accessible. Overall, I would stay at this place again.

While the theft itself was extremely concerning, the most disappointing part of our experience was the response from front desk staff and management. Our concerns were not taken seriously, and there was little effort to investigate, provide reassurance, or offer any meaningful resolution. Due to the lack of trust that followed, we no longer felt comfortable allowing staff into our room and declined housekeeping for the remainder of our 4-night stay. This significantly impacted our comfort and overall experience. For a property of this caliber, both the incident and its handling fell far below expectations. This experience left a lasting negative impression and raises serious concerns about guest safety and how such situations are managed. I was confused when I got there - the website shows an overview of the ocean and their beach house - which is on the beach, but the actual hotel is a few blocks inward. They offer a golf cart ride down the street to drop you off. When you are at the beach house you let them know you're staying with the Bahia and entitled to certain discounts. So the staff is attentive and courteous. The pool looks good but it was primarily empty. The food looked good - we had breakfast there and it was very good. The beach house has an open area to sit down inside with shade, and there's a small sectioned off area on the beach in the sand. You get waitstaff to get drinks for you. At times it can get really crowded, but then again it was busy there - right after Spring Break. It is quite loud and noisy there - with music and crowds. The rooms - were very nice. The bed was king, it was firm, it was comfortable, it was clean. There was also an extra small bed aside for guests - we never used it. It is spacious. The bathrooms were nice and clean too. The doors are heavy and secure, so make sure when you leave they are completely closed and locked because one night we thought so - but it did not latch. We came back and the door was open, we freaked out, but all was good and safe. We were lucky. Just make sure the door is secure and latched and you'll be fine. But overall I thought this place was great and I would recommend them. The rooms are very nice and clean. Staff was accommodating. If you're okay with it not being exactly on the beach then you'll be fine here.
