Environment: It was decent. The deck has a good amount of tables, TVs, and protection from the elements. Not anything too special inside, either. Could do better with some plants for greenery. Food: Pretty good! We got she-crab and corn soup, mac n cheese, a fish sandwich, and Thai chili chicken wings. The soup was well-seasoned and chunky. The wings were sweet & spicy, but not super juicy. Service: Our waitress didn't introduce herself, and kept straying off to tend to other tables. I mean, it's fine, but the place is a tad understaffed. The food came in reasonable time, but we had to wait a while for the check and takeaway boxes. read more

Raegan moves like a space rocket! Great dinner at Loopers Par & Grille on Palm Harbor Golf Course! Loved the deck views and tasty food. Our server Raegan is super great and moves as a space rocket -- lightning fast, always smiling, and on top of everything! The place has become so popular (deservedly!), so a quick note to management: adding extra tables and extra service staff during busy times would keep the experience perfect. We had a really disappointing experience here Saturday night, which was unfortunate because our first visit had been... fine. Not memorable, but solid enough for a local spot with a nice change of scenery overlooking the golf course. We returned for live music -- a friend was singing -- and we were ready for a relaxed date night. My brother and sister-in-law ended up joining us, so we were seated for four, ordered drinks, and enjoyed the music while waiting. The restaurant wasn't overly busy, and there were plenty of open tables. The food itself was good. I ordered the Turkey Bordeaux (done as a panini) and would order it again. Two people in our party had the club and were impressed with the portion size -- both took leftovers home. Unfortunately, the service was the defining issue. After being seated, the hostess came over and took our drink order but didn't introduce herself as our server. Drinks arrived, and then we weren't spoken to again for about 20 minutes. I had planned to order the Blue Chips appetizer to enjoy with our drinks and the music, but by the time anyone returned, our other guests were nearly there and I had already decided against it due to the delay. When the rest of our party arrived, a different server came to take their drink order, and we never saw the first person again -- though we did notice her assisting other tables. I'm not sure how their service flow is set up, but from a guest perspective, it wasn't clear or effective. Service remained slow throughout the meal. I had one drink and didn't receive a refill until after our food arrived, and only after we flagged our server as she walked by. There was no acknowledgment of the long waits at any point -- no apology, no explanation, and no sense that anyone was aware of how delayed things had become. At the end of the meal, our checks were dropped off and then we waited close to 30 minutes before we were able to pay. Again, there were empty tables throughout, and no indication that staff realized how long we had been waiting. We were there for over two hours for a casual dinner. While the food was fine, the lack of attentiveness and awareness made the experience frustrating. We typically tip generously, especially when we're seated for an extended time, but the service level here didn't warrant anything beyond the customary tip. I'm not sure what to make of Loopers after visiting several times over the past 5 years. I have also been there about half dozen times or more since the new operator took over. The new operators run several restaurants around Flagler but all are so so. The food is ok but not great. The key lime pie is the best part of my meal. The atmosphere is good. The service is good and getting better. The prices are average at best unless you happen to align with their bar specials. My bill from a recent visit was a real eye opener. The price of a happy hour beer was cheaper than a soda. They charged tax on the 3 percent surcharge for using a credit card that is becoming standard but real annoying. Lastly the suggested tips started at 25 percent. I would visit more often if I expected better. read more

This used to be a favorite, but no more. Poor management. Slow poor service. Also, they allow golf leagues to take over the deck and basically run you out of the place. Loud, rude with no consideration for the others who are just trying to enjoy a peaceful lovely lunch. If they're going to allow leagues to take over the outside deck, then they should either segregate them to one corner of the deck so they don't disturb the rest of the people or simply close it off for them alone. I literally had a lady pulling the seat from under me as we were departing. Basically standing over my table waiting for us to leave! Awful! DO NOT GO HERE!! It's the absolute worst run place I've ever seen!! Terrible! The service is piss poor and the food really isn't that great!! Had dinner with friends on the porch at Loopers, accompanied by the enchanting sounds of Sweet Melissa Music. I tried a Smoked Old Fashioned with Woodford Reserve bourbon--absolutely delicious! For dinner, I went with the Triple Decker Club sandwich and fries. The sandwich was massive--I could only finish half--and the fries were fantastic. If you're searching for a spot to enjoy great food and live music, Loopers should definitely be on your list! read more

I'm not sure why this has negative reviews. This place is awesome. Servers are great! And there are so many things on the menu you could literally go everyday. We go at least 2x a week. They have nightly specials that are always good and the porch dining at night is a great way to get outside on a hot day. This is our go to when nothing else sounds good. read more

I don't normally review establishments, however my repeated experience at Loopers located at the Palm Harbor Golf Course has me compelled to write this. Tonight makes it the 3rd time in a row where I have made reservations to have dinner following a game of golf, arrived 5 mins early to find they would not seat me and my guest. The hostess confirmed that I had a reservation but refused to seat me and my 3 guest at an empty 4 seat table, saying it was being held for a specific person. After waiting for over 15 mins and watching the empty table, I asked to speak to the manager. I was told she was busy then continued to be ignored. I ask... who is more important to a business than the customer standing in front of them? I have a group of friends that play golf twice a week at Palm Harbor. We have always finished our game with drinks at Loopers and have repeatedply watched the poor management, particularly related to reservations and seating, alienate customers. tonight was the straw that broke this camels back. I am now taking my business, both golf and dining to other golf courses in town. I am also advocating the same to my golf partners. read more

The hour's of operation posted online dictate that this restaurant closes at 9pm. I arrived before 8pm having purposely driven a distance to eat dinner, and found the location closed early. This is very frustrating when an establishment adjusts its advertised hours closing early without notification to its patrons based on online information. To the general Public be made aware that loopers par and grill do not adhere to their published hours. If you are planning a drive to eat there, I would advise you call ahead to determine their hours for that day rather than waste your time. read more

I play golf at the Palm Harbor Golf course in Palm Coast and have for a few years. We have a group of 80-100 golfers every Wednesday. Since The restaurant changed hands the service there for us has diminished to an an unacceptable level. We used to have two ladies who served us promptly and efficiently but now we end up with one server who cannot handle the entire area. Point in case, yesterday I was done golf and sat with a few friends who had already had a pitcher of beer. The server walked by and I requested a beverage and a gent at the table requested to pay his bill. He proceeded to call her name a few times in the ensuing 40 + minutes politely with no response. Please note that the lanai area was maybe 25% full plus only a few of our group there. So 40+ minutes later he paid his bill and I never got my beverage. read more

Made a reservation for my family over the phone and when I arrived, they did not have our reservation. Off to a bad start, but we were honestly so excited to try their beef wellington special, we didn't mind. As soon as we arrived, we ordered an appetizer and our entrees at the same time since the restaurant looked busy. I am not exaggerating when I say it took an HOUR & 20 MINUTES before our spinach artichoke dip arrived. We literally sat there for the length of a movie, desperately trying to entertain our 2 toddlers, with no food. The dip was actually delicious, so I really had high hopes for the wellingtons. After 2 hours, our beef wellingtons finally arrived and all 3 of them were absurdly well done (we ordered medium rare). We asked the waitress how long it would take to refire them and she sheepishly admitted "these are the last ones." Sincerely one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The filets tasted unseasoned, the puff pastry was almost nonexistent and soggy from being topped with gravy. Mashed potatoes were lumpy and flavorless. So disappointing.
