Really cool place! The staff is very friendly, and they have a lot of cool drinks! They have lots of musical acts and DJ's through the week which is really fun, but the side rooms are still quiet and intimate. Nice little patio too, and free parking out front.

Such a great vibe! I had looked up places in town to get a Vietnamese coffee and House Eleven was the first place that came up. So on my way to work on a friday I stopped by. My coffee was great! The atmosphere inside was so nice! People were there early, chilling, conversing and just enjoying the morning. Once I ordered my drink, they were so nice and very conversational. Let me know different things about the menu and I even saw that they collab with others for different events. I will be back!

The bar area like it would be the kitchen. Great vibe! Whatever you desired to drink!

Hello, this venue is amazing! It's like a European place. I was stationed in Europe way back. Thuy one of the owners and staff was so nice! Drinks came out fast! We heard some orginal music on a regular couch! Really cool! This is a place for am and pm! Go check it out! They did have a Cajuan Chef prepare food out in the back and the pasta and chicken was fantastic!

I don't know who decorated this place but they did an amazing job and the whole spot is just dripping with warm and cozy vibes. Inside there are several rooms with couches for lounging. The patio out back has some nice tables as well as a stage for occasional events. I caught a 3 piece jazz band here and they were killing it! It's also got great coffee, (beans from June), and great pastries, (from Last Call), so you can be sure that if you stop in for your morning caffeine fix that you'll get top of the line goods across the board. I've tried a few things on the menu and so far it's been all hits and no misses. Aside from that, at night the bar opens up and they've got a well curated list of interesting cocktails that should satisfy anyone looking to get a few drinks and enjoy the evening. So this place kind of has it all. Coffee and cocktails, cozy vibes inside, a good backyard patio surrounded by trees, and a genuinely friendly and welcoming staff that seems to be doing a great job. Easiest 5 star in a while. Get down there.

I finally made it out to House Eleven & it was outstanding! My visit was on Friday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. I parked on the street in front of the building. I later discovered that there is a parking lot on the side of the building. So don't panic if you don't see it at first lol. This place is beautiful inside! I made my way to the rear of the house to order my coffee. The staff were fun & chill. I ordered a cortado bc that's my thing whenever I hit coffee spots in town. I sat in one of the front rooms, near a window to enjoy my yummy drink and to do a little work( of course). It's was a great hour or so well spent. I love that after 5pm no laptops are allowed and you must be over 21 to enter. I plan to return soon to checkout their cocktail menu!

House Eleven passes the vibe check. It's a coffee shop and bar that uses the genius design of converting an old house into a welcoming space. It has different rooms to chill in that are perfect for studying, catching up with old friends etc. Each room has its own thing going on, all with comfortable furniture. If you can't find a spot inside no worries because they have a patio that's just as laid back. I only came for quick drink but I will be frequenting House Eleven as my go to coffee place. There's no other place quite like it in Birmingham!

Best pastries and croissants So buttery and decadent Place was lovely with ample sunny and shady areas to sit and do work We caught up with friends I wasn't a fan of my drink strawberry matcha. I'm always trying to appreciate matcha but it's not gonna happen. It's an acquired taste that I can't like. Theirs wasn't very sweet and the strawberry was not coming thru as much as I would like But that fruit danish with the custard was a symphony of yum. Plenty of parking Place is kinda decorated like 3-4 big living rooms with different vibes Employees nice and nonchalant. They stay out of your way but are kind The kids enjoyed the back patio Ac was working good!

In astrology, the 11th House signifies friendships, social networks, community involvement, hopes, and aspirations. It represents the groups and communities you are involved in, your relationship with friends, and your broader social sphere. It also governs your long-term goals and dreams, and how you contribute to the collective. What a vision to take an older home and renovate it into a beautiful community space. The home is absolutely stunning. The baristas were amazing and the coffee was delicious. Hubby had the Honey Nut Love. Honey in our coffee isn't something we usually do so it was great to try something new. I had the Honey Citrus Fizz with Matcha, Topo Chico, OJ, & honey. They made it light on the OJ & honey for me and it was terrific. It was a busy Sunday morning so we had to wait a bit but there is plenty of comfortable seating while you wait. This is not a drive thru coffee kiosk; everything is made to order and is well worth the wait. Would love to see before & after pix of this beautiful old home. Highly recommend!

Stopped by here to do a little bit of work and reading. The place was very serene inside and out. I spent about 2-3 hours there without even realizing. It was not that crowded when I went. I sat outside and inside. The only downside about being outside is that I wasn't able to find a plug for my laptop, but there are plenty inside. I tried their PSL Forever coffee and it was ok. A bit pricey. Service was pleasant. Will drop by again to enjoy the workspace.

Super cute decor, great coffee and pastries. Lovely place to work or hang. I only went in the am but it also turns into a bar at night! Wish I lived in Birmingham so I could be a regular :(

This was my second time trying HouseEleven. The Caphe Sua Da is very strong and yummy, but i usually like to ask for more sweetener. I also got the Strawberry Dreams, but it was very disappointing. There wasn't any matcha taste and the strawberries were super sour. Basically tasted like watery strawberries. It was pretty, but I probably would not get that drink again. Wish they would use a higher grade matcha. Everything else was great. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The vibes is great with separate rooms and a back yard for studying or hanging out.

House Eleven is such a cool space! It's a renovated house which gives it such a cozy atmosphere. There are different rooms each with plenty of seating to pick from. There is also an outdoor patio with plenty of seating. They have coffee, matcha, and tea as well as a full bar. I tried the matcha and was not a fan but I'd love to try their coffee (it's from domestique). You order at the counter and then grab your drinks when they are ready. Perfect place to spend the day studying or to grab drinks with friends. I will definitely be back!

I stopped in last month while I was in town and loved the vibes. The bartenders were super nice and friendly and the drinks were good. They had my favorite local beer- Paradise Now. Can't wait to come back sometime soon to spend more time in the patio!

I wish I could have gotten less starches but I'm grateful for the pick up nonetheless. What I'm curious about.., Why the use of tumeric in the chicken and dressing? I was born and raised in the Ham so I'm used to the way we normally do it. The look threw me off. It was as if yellow food coloring was used. The chicken was overdone as well. If not for these two, I would have given this a 5 star. But I can't get over the yellow.

I felt like the prices were a bit higher than other shops, but I'm one to pay the price if it means the coffee beans are quality and that the staff is paid a living wage. It was so surprising- It had a sweet and fruity taste, and I asked the owner about it and he said it's a special type of coffee fermented with fruits and that he cycles through different blends for the iced coffee often. I love the intention and creativity put in to the process. I wasn't a huge fan of the flavor and he offered me to try the cold brew instead, which was very kind and a relief because I hate telling anyone I don't like a drink! The cold brew was much more up my alley, very strong and dark and it was great without any syrup or creamer. I love the interior of the shop and the sense of comfort you get being in there. They had a ton of coffee beans And I asked the owner which would be the best dark roast and he picked one out for me that's been pretty good so far (although not as dark as I expected). My friend got a dirty chai and I don't think she was too thrilled with it. But I would definitely come back to try some new things!

I'm diabetic so I don't use sugar and truvia is just nasty. It tastes horrible and makes your drink taste horrible. Now mind you they will use all kinds of syrups with dyes and additives and sugars but nope not Splenda. That's bad for you. The 50 grams of sugar in a single vanilla latte is totally fine. We're ok with that even though that alone is over the recommended amount. But Splenda no we can't allow that. Will never be back.

It's one of Birmingham's original coffee shops as coffee culture started to transition from the realms of iHop and Denny's into something that one might actually appreciate. Red Cat opened here in 2008, close to the time when Railroad Park was forming up in front of it as well. Of course, beans are roasted in house. Of course, the views are very pleasant overlooking railroad park across the street. And, what other colors could mugs be other than red? The layout inside is pleasant, although does have a bit of that "overly private" feel. The way that tables are positioned, it's not conducive to having a chat with a stranger. Depending on the vibe one is looking for, that can be a good or a bad thing. Basically, this is where you come if you don't want to be bothered. As a whole, a wonderful spot to enjoy one of their signature Espresso blends.
