My personal staple when eating Chinese food is honey walnut prawns and theirs definitely hit the spot. The prawns were huge and perfectly fried before tossed in the sauce. Another staple is veggies so today we opted for the sautéed cabbage and it was simple yet so satisfying. My partner chose the Mongolian beef (extra spice) and chicken fried rice. He couldn't stop talking about how good it was.. like seriously, he kept mentioning it the next day. I get food here pretty often, through app delivery, and it is always warm and fresh. Taste is 9/10, very good and they've never done me wrong. Portions are very generous or at the very least worth the price in my opinion. First time going inside of house of potstickers. I thought I looked through all the reviews before coming here. I had mixed feelings but decided to give it a shot anyway. My entire family ordered Lunch Specials. This was served with a soup and it was devoured before I got a picture. It was on the spicy side but my family likes that. 10/10. Our server was kind and everything was made fresh and you can tell based upon the temperature of the food. The service was acceptable, not rude didn't talk to them too much. Met my expectations. Orange chicken was yummy & there chow main to die for. The noodles were nice and thick. Everything was sauced up so well. My family also loves the orange chicken & the lemon chicken was delicious. This was my first time coming to House of Potsticker. I walked in and the restaurant was empty with the exception of a gentleman that was waiting on his pickup order. I waited for someone to greet me, my grandmother and son. Another customer walks in and the owner comes to the front and greets the customer that walked in after me. Apparently they knew each other and they proceed to talk. The owner grabs menus and proceeds to sit him down. I politely interject and said "excuse me I was here first." He grabs a few more menus and sits my party down and then his friend. He goes to the back and brings out 2 waters for his friend and then addresses me and says, " I'll be right back to take your orders." He then proceeds to go the back and at that time I assumed he was going to grab our waters however I was wrong! He brought out 2 soups for his friend. My 89 year old grandmother then asks "are you going to take our order?" I got up and told my family "lets go!" As we walked out the owner says, " I was about to take your orders." I used to work down the street and loved this place then and with the new owners I can say still love it! I came here tonight 4/15/24 and the food was amazing! The service I received from the woman and man working tonight was phenomenal very friendly and attentive to my questions about the new menu. The restaurant still looks the same as it did when it opened how ever many decades ago it was but it's comfortable and familiar which makes me feel right at home and relaxed. I went in after work to get some food. It took me about 50 mins to recieve my food. There was only one other guest inside so it wasn't super busy. There was one pickup before more. They even had a family walk in and then walked out after 20mins for the reason of not being able to even order food. The orange chicken was really jelly like and the rice and chow mein tasted okay.
