Tried Lee's Chinese Kitchen and was pleasantly surprised. The aroma alone when I opened the container was inviting you could immediately tell everything was cooked fresh. I ordered chow mein with BBQ pork, sweet & sour chicken, and tempura shrimp. The chow mein had a good balance of noodles, cabbage, and pork, with a clean savory flavor that wasn't overly oily. The BBQ pork added a slight sweetness that paired well with the noodles. The sweet & sour chicken had a nice crisp exterior with a sauce that wasn't overwhelming or overly sugary. It held its texture instead of turning soggy, which I appreciated. The tempura shrimp had a light batter and a fresh taste adding good contrast to the plate. I love that they have the same selection you would expect from other Chinese restaurants, but what really gets me is their pricing. You cannot beat their lunch platter prices! I've tried several different entrees here and have been satisfied by all of them. It does take a bit to get your order, so if you are working on a time crunch, call to order ahead. Went in for a quick lunch yesterday. The food was amazing and the service was great but when I went to reach for the chili oil, a roach came crawling out from under the tray and crawled all over the table near my food. The waitress saw it and tried to kill it. I got up and went to the front counter where I was told, "I'm sorry the owner isn't here." Nope, if you're looking for good chow mein this ain't the place.. Actually just don't come here period. The stars be lying dude. The fried rice is dry, the orange chicken breading is so hard!!! The side of free white rice was dry and stale.I got combo meals to try a little bit of everything and paid $60... yeah never again. The pot stickers were OK, but like just ok.. okay. Like I ain't ever coming back for just okay pot stickers if you get my drift. But worst of all.. was the Mongolian Beef!! Although I had very bland items (due to some stomach issues), the items came out hot and steamy with just enough flavor. I had the egg flower soup which included Chinese vegetables, a nice surprise.
