Trail Tails LLC - wali takes great pix

We're so glad that we found Trail Tails. Wali and his team understand that our dog is our family,…read moreand they treat him like family, too. Our boy is a bit mischievous and likes to wander away from the group too much, so Wali offered to board him for a couple of weekends to work on training, and we definitely see improvement. Of course, we could've just hired a dog walker to walk our boy a couple of times a day while we're at work, but it's 100% worth the money for us to know that he's out enjoying nature and socializing with other dogs during the day, instead of just being bored on the couch between walks. And we love seeing the photos they post on Instagram! Would highly recommend Trail Tails to anyone with a pooch.

Trail Tails is AMAZING. Our dog went to their "camp" regularly since he was a puppy (started ~5mo…read moreold). We recently moved and the worst part of moving was that we are longer be in the Trail Tails service area (it honestly weighed heavily in our decision, if that gives you an idea of how much we loved Trail Tails). Wali and his team are fantastic with dogs - they not only try to enforce good behavior (like recall and "playing nicely" with other dogs), but I can tell that they also show a lot of affection to these dogs and make sure "the pack" has an awesome time day in and day out, regardless of the weather. I also had my dog stay with Wali and his team over a few weekends and he seemed to have a great time. I also loved that they posted pics on Instagram regularly - it was so fun to see the dogs in action! (Including a pic of my dog at Trail Tails!) The only downside: there are some days when my dog got a bit dirty. But a quick sweep/vacuum was totally worth it - my dog had a blast and was always tired/happy at the end of the day when I got home. HIGHLY recommend Trail Tails!

They put up photos of your babies having fun and a little report card at the end on how they did and who they played with the most. Pricing is reasonable and staff is very friendly. The online portal is user friendly and easy to see your account. I appreciate being able to drop my girls off at daycare because I know they are in great hands while mom is off working! If your looking for a local dog walker or daycare this is the place to go

I said that to you, after you went there the second time. After I specifically requested that Mary…read moredoesn't go again. After the fact that you knew I'd be watching. It's extremely obnoxious to try and rectify this after I sent proof (pics) that Mary texted on her cell phone for half of the visit when she was supposed to provide "play time". I never said anything about you, that your visit was bad. But it was AFTER I complained and AFTER Chad asked me to submit pictures to prove what I say was true. He never apologized to me! He praised Mary during the whole email! Here, since we are attaching emails, let me know when you see the word "sorry" in Chad's email. And all that BS that he was the one texting her?! Please.. how abt a quick phone call if he wanted to tell her something important? If she was typing abt the visit, that's to be done AFTER the visit. Not DURING. When I'm paying for "play time"!!! P.S Chad, 1st, I never said Mary sat in a chair the Entire Visit. Please, I implore you to actually read my first review, don't put words in my mouth. 2nd, if I'm sending you 2 pics taken 6min apart where the pet sitter is sitting on a chair texting, that's pretty self explanatory. The visit it 20min from entering to exiting the door, so... I mean.. really?! Look how defensive you both are. That's guilt right there, and you continue to make it look like I'm the "bad guy" .. keep doing what you're doing. Obviously you know how.

We left our dog at this daycare while away on a trip and came back to him in terrible shape. His…read morepaw was so irritated that he didn't want to walk on it, his eyes were full of gunk and he could barely keep them open, and he had a runny nose. While I don't think my dog was mistreated, Carol Ann failed to communicate that anything was wrong which is a huge problem. When my husband asked her if she noticed anything while there she proceeded to say "well he did have a slight cough at one point, but I called and told you". This was a complete lie, she never called him once while we were away. Since then we've had to take him to the vet twice, my dog has not been the same at all, lacks energy, is throwing up and not once has she even been sympathetic or apologetic. Instead she was defensive, rude, talked over him when he was trying to explain everything that was going on, and sounded like she was whining more than anything. We later realized that while she asked if my dog was vaccinated, she never asked for the proof and so I think she doesn't check for proper documentation- allowing anyone to leave their dog at her daycare. Lesson learned, never again.

When I…read moreasked the staff what this was they said they thought it was a birthmark and took him to the back to remove it. Several minutes later the groomer came out and said they couldn't get the stain off of him. She informed me they were doing construction in the back and he was laying on the floor under it. The conversation got worse and worse from there. She told me "it was likely something from the air conditioner and she didn't know what it was but it definitely wasn't dangerous." She then casually said if they couldn't get it off I wouldn't have to pay for the grooming.... as if he was a sweater that got stained at the dry cleaner. They ended up giving him two more baths and getting most of it off with Dawn dish soap... which is what they use to take oil spills off of sea creatures. My dog was unsupervised, laying in construction chemicals and came out from his grooming stained. After all of that, they still charged me and barely apologized. I was a regular customer for several years and this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Needless to say we have never been back.

I don't even know where to begin with our love for D is for Doggy! My dog Simon started here when…read morehe was about 4.5 months old. I was nervous at first, but after a short trial run, we were both completely hooked! Now, at a year old, Simon has practically grown up at D is for Doggy, visiting several times a week. One of the things I love most is being able to check in on him throughout the day, and seeing how happy and exhausted he is after a full day of play is priceless. But the absolute highlight is that Simon can't even walk by the place without begging to go inside! When I drop him off, he literally runs to each staff member, tail wagging, full of excitement and joy. It's such a relief knowing he's in excellent hands, having the best time, while I'm at work. His social skills with other dogs have grown tremendously, and I credit that to his time at D is for Doggy. We also get Simon groomed here by Prae, and she's just incredible! His last grooming was so relaxing for him, he actually fell asleep. Every haircut has been perfect, and you can tell how much love she puts into her work. We are beyond grateful for the care and affection Simon receives at D is for Doggy--it truly feels like a second home for him!
