My mother recently called regarding selling her vehicle and was met with what I can only describe as extremely poor customer service. The representative she spoke with was impatient and dismissive, repeatedly telling her to "call back" in a rude tone rather than attempting to assist her. I would like to provide some important context. My mother is deaf and communicates through a sign language interpreter. Additionally, she is on the autism spectrum, which can sometimes make communication particularly spelling and verbal clarification more challenging. Given these circumstances, she may require a bit more patience and understanding during phone interactions. It was very disheartening that, instead of accommodating her needs or showing basic courtesy, the representative chose to respond with frustration and a lack of professionalism. Customers come from all backgrounds and abilities, and it is essential that they are treated with respect and dignity at all times. I hope this matter is taken seriously and addressed internally. Genuinely one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. The woman answering the phone was rude and impatient. I have no idea what could make someone come in with that kind of attitude so early in the day -- totally uncalled for. They lure you in with a competitive quote online, then hand you off to someone who acts like you're a bother for calling. Whoever is at the front desk answering phones all day IS VERY RUDE! She gave me an attitude, I tried to keep it professional before I decided to give her an attitude back. LEARN HOW TO TALK TO PEOPLE. If you're mad you have to answer phones all day then pick another job. Anyways she cursed me out numerous times, I asked to speak to a manager to discuss her behavior, and somehow they're NOT THERE. She wouldn't give me a phone number for the manager or anything. I went through another party and now those people don't want anything to do with my car! I called them back numerous times. And nobody that's in the towing business don't want anything to do with my car also. So that sucks. I kept calling trying to be nicer than this mf hangs up on my face. On occasion went to buy used tire on Monday for $10 ; however, used tire shop guys colludes with tire workers to claim the good tires and sell the rotten or less than 50% rubber on the tire to the regular customers. . It has turned into a scam with the used tire dealers wanting to claim all the tires just to resell it to someone for $50 or more ---it's a public place but those tire shops try to corner the market ! read more

What was the point of having an inventory list if it's not even accurate. You're posting about current inventory but they're not even available in the location you say. And you're posting "new" inventory that's already been there and has now been scrapped over a month ago. Also, your gate situation. If you close the gate at a certain time on the website but won't let us in with a few minutes to spare before your gate closing time that's actual false advertisement and you might want to stick to your advertised time before catching a lawsuit. In the state of Texas false advertisement is illegal and you can be fined. You have customers that drive from the other side of Houston to get there before the gate closes and you won't let them in. That's bullshit. For example gate closes at 5pm but I can arrive at 4:50 and be turned away. This use to be a decent location. If only y'all stuck to your advertised times and got your shit together regarding that inventory list. read more

This is the best self service junkyard in the Houston area for many reasons. First of all, you get admission to both the late and early models of cars with one $3 entry fee. They do not nickel and dime you like their competitor (LKQ) to get into the newer car section. The employees are very polite and lines move quickly. Their selection of cars and trucks is excellent meaning they have higher end vehicles like Jaguars and newer model BMW or Mercedes that are not already stripped to the bone. Other yards remove the valuable parts from junked cars before they are set out in the self service area. These guys do not strip the parts and they still sell airbags whereas LKQ does not. If you are looking for more common stuff like F150s or Camrys they have those as well. The yard is relatively clean and low on clutter. When they first opened they used to offer shuttle service in a van and had bus stop style stations with tin shades but that is all gone now. The early model section was also much larger in the early days. It looks like land at the back of the yard was sold and a new fence line went up. Even with the smaller yard they are way better than LKQ for quality of inventory. Parts pricing is also way better than LKQ plus they do not charge high and stupid cores on inexpensive parts. They do not have a real time inventory on their website which is kind of a blessing because if you really need a part the odds are you will find it if the car you are looking for is there. I would tell anyone reading this to give them a try. They are not a public corporation so I like supporting them for that reason alone. read more

I went here to get a used part for my car. The associates were very helpful over the phone and were able to tell me if my part was in their inventory before I drove all the way out there. When I arrived, the associates led me to the section of the lot with the part I needed. The prices were fair and the person who helped me was knowledgeable. Based on my visit and the part I wanted, they said I didn't need to bring my own tools and they could take the part off for me. You may want to ask about this for yourself.
