Have been going to this business for 20 years or more, originally his father, now the son. The charge for alignment is fair. Recently after aligning my car after tie rod change, I was given a spiel that I should have changed out the rotors and went on for 5 minutes give me a ridiculous talk about what is going to happen. I have been repairing my car for over 70 years and I know what he said was crap. Go to him for alignment and forget the talk. read more

I called this place and made an appointment after reading good reviews about this place. I have a lifted gx470 with an aftermarket suspension. On the phone the owner confirmed that they could do it but needed to see my truck first. When I came there he quoted me a different price, but I agreed with that price since my truck has an aftermarket suspension and it could be hard to adjust. Here is what I disliked about the service. I had been forced to pay before I could see the alignment result. After I paid and saw the result, I complained to the owner that the result was not as I expected and requested for the Caster to be corrected. However, he refused and was not happy with my request. He bragged that he has 40 years alignment experiences and what he did was a good result. I didn't question his skills and experiences. I just want the Caster number in a specified range or at least close to it. I mentioned at the beginning if he could not do as I requested, he should have refused the job. The owner was being dishonest and unethical. When I got home I was upset because the alignment number was not much different as before. I had a copy of alignment result from another shop few days ago. I would be ok if from the beginning that he told me that he could not do it. But now I walked away felt cheated since I paid for nothing. read more

My Ford F150 had been pulling hard to the right and wobbling tremendously when getting up to about 50 MPH. I had new tires put on (since they now had uneven wear and were in the "yellow" with respect to tread depth) I then took my truck over to Aline to have the alignment done. They did tell me that for trucks it is $60 versus the normal $40 ( they had told me that over the phone as well) I was ok with that. The lobby is very basic so don't expect Coffee or tea or anything like that ( it could use a little dressing up). The job took about 15-20min. and so far my truck is driving straight and smooth. ( even went out of my way to take 290 to 610 to get home just to get it up to 65+ MPH) - So for the ease and money I consider it good job. read more

I have used this shop nearly a dozen times. However twice I have driven from Tomball and it has been shut. This guy does good work, but lately he is absolutely unreliable. He seems to work when he wants. The last few times I came when he was open, he keeps the waiting room door locked. So you really don't know what to do or who to talk to. Today I arrived at 8am to find a sign on the door that says, "reopen at 8:30 am". I've waited here for 2 hours and no one has showed up. I took my bmw in for an alignment and when i got it back the suspension up front felt very loose. A week later one of my new control arms came off and my vehicle lost control. After i inspected the vehicle i noticed that the control arms were completely loose with one practically dragging on the floor. I also had a missing bolt on one side and a missing nut on the other. I can assure those nuts were on there before i took in the car before because I installed all the control arm and components prior to bringing it to an alignment. Please avoid this shop. They shifted the cradle on mu 2018 gti. After watching them struggle to even get the card on the rack, once I got my car back I noticed something critical on the front end.... They must not of tighten all the subframe down.. Also I had camber kits to increase my castor because I lowered my card and the price went from 60 to Ober 100. This is by far the worst mechanic experience I have ever had. I went to have my front brakes redone and I left with NO brakes after paying them $400! They said it was fine when they tested it. I drove 50 yards with no brakes. At least when I brought it in it had brakes. Of course when I complained they said it must be something else now like a vacuum, etc, etc. of course that was going to be more labor, more money. I just left with a broken care with no brakes. Got fully ripped off. Do not go to this place under any circumstances. I am a business owner and would never do anything like this to a customer. You will report them to anyone who will listen and do my best to protect further consumers. They didn't offer a refund or to fix the problem. I went to ALine Automotive yesterday to have some stuff replaced on my '02 Ford Escape. The Ford Dealer had told me, during my last oil change, that both lower control arms (all the bushings and ball joints) and outer tie rod ends needed replaced badly! They stressed that it is a very high priority. Well, I went online and bought replacement parts and since I don't have a garage yet to do my own work, I had to find a place to install them. Now I'm new to Houston and have struggled to find a trustworthy and respectful repair shop so I knew this was going to be stressful. I stumble upon awesome Google reviews about ALine Automotive and saw that they had a great, every day, deal on alignments (needed after the work). I called them up and found a good time to come in. The mechanic treated me respectfully and truthfully. You can't ask for more! He let me follow him around and was showing me all sorts of things underneath, explaining some things I didn't know about my own car. Turns out, he said, your tie rods look great, and I'd replace maybe just one LCA. The other looks just fine. **Don't small auto shops usually tell you everything is wrong and needs replaced? Not this place!** I tell him then how there has been a front creak when the car articulates and to please rid me of the creak, whatever it is and costs. I come back a couple hours later, new LCA w/ bushings installed, Steering wheel and tires all aligned up, and... NO creak! I paid an extremely reasonable amount and left with a repaired car, new knowledge, and both my arms and legs still intact. This such a great shop (not the Ritz) but new equipment, tools, everything that matters. As long as this service continues, this will always be my first choice! *** I saw there was a review previously posted about this place seeming disorganized. It kinda does but only because you have to make yourself visible when you get there, the customer area is kinda hidden from the people working. Once you do, they'll take care of you. I have mixed feelings about this shop. I was met by the owners son who was very nice and extremely knowledgeable. The problem was the owner, he was very disrespectful and down right rude. He critizided my situation with my car and complained about customers that only brought their cars in for an alignment after someone else had done front end work (to me the customer)!. It is no wonder I was the only customer they had in the shop for the hour and a half I was there. If the owner would had not come out or just kept his mouth shut this review would be positive. I had the hardest time finding a place to do my alignment. Its a lifted truck with big rims and tires. Every shop I talked to talked it down or made excuses why they couldn't do it. I found Aline online and called.....So glad I did. AWSOME customer service and willing to explain everything that needs to be done and how it was going to be accomplished. Now they had other cars there when I arrived. I was immediately greeted explained the wait and how many were in front of me.They gave each customer the time they deserved to explain and show what was done. They also made sure they understood and asked if they had any questions(top notch service). They done my alignment explained as mention before and its perfect. The ride and steering is so much better. I couldn't be any happier. So glad I found them. Its 30 to 45 min drive for me but worth it. I will be back for sure. you wont be disappointed. Place provides no support for questions after they take your money. They claim 30 years of experience and I understand they get busy, but won't spend an extra few minutes to explain why my vehicle is still out of spec and what I can so. They do what they do, claim it's the best they can get it, without explaining to the customer what other avenues (or possible components) they should buy in order to resolve the issue. If I need a specific new component to get into spec, tell me what so I can make it my choice. Don't say, that's the best we can do, so you're just going to have to live with your alignment out of spec. read more

I had a very good experience with this shop. Rick treated me really well and did a really great job for my car. They have the newest alignment machine, Hawkeye from Hunter, which cuts down the time to do a job to about 15 minutes. That's how they are able to charge such a low rate. Highly recommended. By the way, they also have a Hunter Road Force balancer. So if you keep having vibration issues with your tires after multiple regular balances, give this shop a try. The road force balancer can pinpoint where the vibrations come from. read more

Great and honest place to get your vehicle aligned. These guys were nice courteous professionals who treated me with kindness and respect. They use the HawkEye computer system which accurately gives a perfect alignment. My wait time was about an hour which wasn't bad. My SUV now drives perfect and for only $39.99. The also schooled me on new tires and said they send back a lot of new tires because they don't meet their standards of quality...wow! Really had a great experience here when I brought my car in to get fixed this past week. I had run over a curb at a pretty high rate of speed and needed quite a bit of work done. Right when I parked the son (father and son shop - sorry I forget names!) started asking me about the car and he got it up on the rack right away. He walked me through what was wrong with the car and ordered the parts to be in a few hours later. I ended up talking to both the father and the son and they gave me an estimate which I thought was very reasonable for the work that needed to be done. They weren't sure whether it would get done the same day or not but the son offered to keep the shop open a little late to get it done for me which was great because I didn't want to be without my car. When I got back to pick it up, it turns out it was about 50 dollars cheaper than the original estimate. You can tell these are the kind of guys that are going to charge you a fair price because they just wouldn't feel good about themselves doing it any other way. I've been going here for Alignments for all my all my family member's cars since we moved in the area some years ago. The last time I took 2 cars & both left the same as they came(this was recently). The Quality of Service has gone down to Nothing & the Price has increased. I noticed that the owner was Not doing the Alignments, the son was doing the work now & it turned out piss poor. I went to this guy for a front end alignment for my Toyota Pick up. After berating me for not greasing my 15 year old ball joints (they were about a year old), he goes on to say he made the front end alignment worse than it was so I would need another one "at the next interval".
