    CP3 1lb crawfish and 1lb shrimp
    Carina A.

Tried this place for the first time with my family. Ordered the CP3 with crawfish and shrimp. It was a huge portion, the houston special season was so good. I'm sensitive to spice so I got mild. But I think next time I'll try mild spicy. The service was excellent. The wait staff explained the menu brought us everything we needed. My husband ordered wings. He says they were great! My kids shared a chicken tender plate and filled up with the generous portion of fries.

Always good food and service by staff. A great place to order from even for take out, a great option for to go or dine in. Good prices and options!

I've only ever ordered from here thru Uber eats or DoorDash. But I absolutely love the seafood from here. The combo deals are the best in town, and good prices with how good the seafood is it really can't be beat. For north of Houston this is one of the best places to get seafood. The style of flavors would be Viet-Cajun, which is what I prefer.

Even though crawfish is not in season, I still had to get some type of seafood boil before I had to leave Houston. Found this hidden gem on our way to Bush airport. We came in when it wasn't very busy, which led to great customer services. Our server was attentive and really tried to make conversation with us! It's a very casual restaurant with plenty of seating. We ordered the shrimp with the head on and the a pound of frozen crawfish in the Houston special sauce with hot spice level. The hot level wasnt that spicy, I def would of done the extra spicy. The Houston special sauce is a combination of all the sauces combined. It was pretty good, savory, sweet and spicy. But we ordered the blue crab in the garlic butter in hot level as well and I liked this way better. Surprisingly the blue crab was a decent size- I was happy to not have to do as much work for the meat. This did satisfy my craving for a seafood boil.

Food: 3.5 to 4. Came by because some of us wanted more crawfish. Greeted quickly when entered. Only frozen crawfish available at this time (end of Oct). We ordered 2 lbs of crawfish, 1 lb of shrimp, corn, and crawfish fried rice. Food was delivered timely and at the right temperature. Crawfish was bigger and tasted better than the place we went yesterday. Shrimp and was good. Crawfish fried rice was good but not as good as the place we went yesterday. Service was friendly and efficient. Ambiance is much nicer than the place we went yesterday. Nice but not upscale. Upscale doesn't make sense if you wear the recommended gloves and bib. Eating crawfish cooked/soaked in sauce and peeling shrimp is hard not to be messy. Service: 4.5 Ambiance: 4 Value. 4.5

BEST CRAWFISH I'VE HAD THIS SEASON! We ordered 5 pounds and got 1 free as per their promotion they're running. We had 3 pounds of the Asian Garlic (Extra Spicy) and 3 pounds of the Houston Special (Extra Spicy) The Asian garlic is packed full of nice chunky garlic, citrus and spices. It was amazing. I couldn't get enough. The Houston Special is a mix of the garlic butter, Cajun and lemon pepper I believe. It has to be my favorite one so far. These flavors came from our server's recommendation and I couldn't be happier. He was nice enough to explain the flavors, show me the different dip sauce sizes and repeated the order back to ensure everything would come out right. The wait time wasn't super long and everything came out piping hot. I also got a snow crab cluster and a order of the Vietnamese egg rolls. I can't say enough good things about the food for my first time there. The restaurant was also super clean, they have different tvs playing things and all the tables were wrapped in clean plastic covers. Sorry I didn't take a before picture but this is all I got! PLEASE GO CHECK THEM OUT!

This place has some cool ambiance, I especially like the Asian-inspired decor and the many flowers laid out near the entrance. I came here looking for some seafood rolls (specifically a lobster roll) and the guy helping me out was honest enough to tell me that it isn't filling due to the small size. I really appreciated that honesty and, for me, that signals good customer service. Sadly he was right, a single roll isn't very filling at all so I also got a crawfish roll to go with it. Honestly, neither roll really tasted like anything and I couldn't really distinguish any particular flavor. When I added the included (butter?) sauce on the rolls, I was overpowered by a strong salty taste that I didn't really enjoy. These definitely weren't worth the price, especially the pricier lobster roll. Overall, if I could, I'd rate this place a 3.5 since I liked the service a lot. I haven't had any of their other food so this review isn't super comprehensive.

Wow, where do i start? Everything from the ambiance, music, service and food was amazing! Before coming here I refused to try new pho restaurants but im so glad i came in! Kathleen was my server and she had great recommendations, she was very attentive and knowledgeable. I had the cajun pho and added shrimp. The restaurant is very comforting on a gloomy day.

You wrap the lettuce around the bánh xèo/bánh khọt and dip it in the fish sauce. I got the bánh khọt and the bò né. Bánh khọt is like a mini, thicker version of bánh xèo and came with nine pieces. Their bánh khọt was crispy, sweet and savory, and went well with the fish sauce. Although the portions initally look small, they are very filling. The bò né was filling and sizzling when it came out. It also came with a side of salad. The meat was tender. I really liked the bánh khọt and would definitely come back for them. It's nice having an authentic Vietnamese restaurant in our area, close to us, so we don't have to make the trek to Bellaire every time we crave some Viet food!

I couldn't have been more wrong. Xeo Yum (#1) as it turns out is one of the most legit Vietnamese places in Midtown serving up some of the city's best banh xeo and banh khot. Located inside of a Food Hall (#2) in the back corner, they have low-key become a destination and without question, the most popular stall in the entire place. The fan base didn't happen overnight but is a direct result of Chef Cuong Nguyen's commitment to quality Vietnamese fare. Banh Xeo is their signature item, which is also known as a sizzling crepe or pancake made of rice flour, tumeric, and coconut milk. The banh xeo holds well, is perfectly crispy, and is nicely stuffed with an assortment of beans sprouts, shrimp, and some of the best grilled pork belly I've had. Another specialty item that doesn't get enough mention is their banh khot, which is similar but has a mini muffin / cupcake like appearance made in a specialty cast iron mold. This version is wonderfully crispy and pairs perfectly with fresh greens and fish sauce with some funk. It is my favorite item here. Some have argued they also serve one of the best bo ne (#3), the Vietnamese version of steak and eggs served in a skillet. The chunks of beef are nice and tender with just a tad of char, served with two fried eggs, and a banh mi baguette with a mix of butter and spare. Normally I think of spam or sausage included with the meats, but Chef Cuong's spin is with cherry tomatoes. It's a different approach and I'm not mad at it. Folks not looking for this can shoot for bo luc lac, aka shaking beef, which is also recommended. The staff here is sweet, hard-working, and very friendly. They also make a mean Vietnamese coffee and offer free iced self-serve water. The prices are what I would expect in a Midtown food hall, and there's plenty of seating. Anyone checking out the food hall need to make Xeo Yum as part of their eating itinerary. __________ (#1) A play on the Vietnamese sizzling crepe, Banh "xeo" and yum" (#2) Previously the Conservatory and now Stestí Food Hall. When I arrived there was nobody dining in the restaurant, that was a bit worrying, but I figured it was a bit early for the dinner crowd and late for the lunch crowd. Food & Drink - 4.5* First up was the noodles, I enjoyed them, but I wouldn't say the hype I'd heard about from some others was there. They had nice flavor, but there just wasn't anything "special." 3.5* Then it was on to the crawfish, and my oh my. Superb, the flavor is delicious and unique. This more than made up for the noodles dish. The potato and corn was good too. Service - 5* Solid. When I first arrived the owner was quietly reading a newspaper and eating his own lunch. He paused to greet me and advised that I could sit anywhere. He provided water and adequate time to determine what I wanted to order. The food came out quickly and he checked in a few times to make sure everything was ok. As time went by, the crowd of folks showing up increased quite a bit and he still managed to check in on tables consistently. Pricing - 4* This is where it was odd. Always subjective but I found the noodles to be overpriced for not only the size but what I felt was a pretty simple dish. The crawfish on the other hand was priced very competitively and made up for the overpriced noodles. I provided pics of the menu for someone to make their own assessment but in general I thought many of the dishes were pricier than they probably should be. I know inflation is certainly killing many businesses and consumers but even these felt a bit off. Overall - 4.5* This is definitely going to be one of my go tos for crawfish when in the area. The flavor is fantastic, the pricing is good, the size of them were solid. There are a couple of other dishes I may try on the next visit. The restaurant is clean, the owner is very nice, and it's a nice low key space to just enjoy a good meal with friends or family.

The guy who answered the phone wasn't the friendliest, but I decided to roll the dice anyway, and I'm glad I did because the food was solid. We started with the egg rolls. At $10.95 for five pieces, I thought they were a little pricey. They came out piping hot and fresh from the fryer with a great crunch, and the fish sauce was delicious. My only complaint was the lettuce--they only gave us one piece. What am I supposed to do with one piece of lettuce? The Canh Chua Tôm had the perfect level of sourness, exactly how I like it. The shrimp were a little overcooked, but the medium-sized bowl was a generous portion. The Cá Kho Tộ was cooked perfectly.
