My cousin brought me here for crawfish since I was in town! She did not let me down. The restaurant is large with many tables, a few TVs, and a bar. There is a parking lot in the plaza that's spacious. Interior is basic, but you are there for the food!! There was 6 of us with big appetites. We ordered a plethora of items from the menu. First, we ordered the CP7 Combo- Seafood combo for 4 (3lbs Crawfish, 1lb Shrimp, 4-Corn, 4-Potato, 2-Sausage, 3 pcs Boiled Eggs, 2 clusters Snow Crab, 2 pcs Blue Crab, 10-Mussel). We also added 5lbs additional crawfish with the Houston Special sauce- spicy. Sides of cajun fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings, chicken fried rice, raw oysters, a bowl of pho for Granny. EVERYTHING was delicious! Crawfish were large and flavorful. Potatoes were cooked perfectly, along with the mussels, shrimp and sausages. They also have smoothies on their menu if your tongue needs a cool down. Aside from the seafood, my next favorite item was the fried rice. We came in when it wasn't very busy, which led to great customer services. Our server was attentive and really tried to make conversation with us! It's a very casual restaurant with plenty of seating. We ordered the shrimp with the head on and the a pound of frozen crawfish in the Houston special sauce with hot spice level. The hot level wasnt that spicy, I def would of done the extra spicy. The Houston special sauce is a combination of all the sauces combined. It was pretty good, savory, sweet and spicy. But we ordered the blue crab in the garlic butter in hot level as well and I liked this way better. BEST CRAWFISH I'VE HAD THIS SEASON! We ordered 5 pounds and got 1 free as per their promotion they're running. We had 3 pounds of the Asian Garlic (Extra Spicy) and 3 pounds of the Houston Special (Extra Spicy) The Asian garlic is packed full of nice chunky garlic, citrus and spices. It was amazing. I couldn't get enough. The Houston Special is a mix of the garlic butter, Cajun and lemon pepper I believe. It has to be my favorite one so far. These flavors came from our server's recommendation and I couldn't be happier. He was nice enough to explain the flavors, show me the different dip sauce sizes and repeated the order back to ensure everything would come out right. The wait time wasn't super long and everything came out piping hot. I also got a snow crab cluster and a order of the Vietnamese egg rolls. I can't say enough good things about the food for my first time there. I came here looking for some seafood rolls (specifically a lobster roll) and the guy helping me out was honest enough to tell me that it isn't filling due to the small size. I really appreciated that honesty and, for me, that signals good customer service. Sadly he was right, a single roll isn't very filling at all so I also got a crawfish roll to go with it. Honestly, neither roll really tasted like anything and I couldn't really distinguish any particular flavor. When I added the included (butter?) sauce on the rolls, I was overpowered by a strong salty taste that I didn't really enjoy. These definitely weren't worth the price, especially the pricier lobster roll. Overall, if I could, I'd rate this place a 3.5 since I liked the service a lot. It's a great place! As I searched carefully for a good fried seafood place for a celebration, it was tricky to find a place that served a variety of fried seafood (especially fried oysters), that wouldn't be a crowded, noisy bar. This one, though? Quiet and calm, just like I like it. (Of course, I did carefully choose a less crowded time.) Though it thankfully wasn't a sports bar like comparable places, there were more TVs than I expected; nonetheless, it barely mattered because the sound was off for them all. I was especially happy one TV had animated kids' shows (because not everyone wants sports shows at restaurants). Furthermore, they had good taste: Spirited Away was playing. (Yes, I wasn't there long and wasn't there for a movie, but, still, a bonus. I so dislike it when TVs at public places show only trashy 'toons.) I like the music playing, too: tasteful piano music (not that different from tracks in Spirited Away). It gives the place a fancy feel. The tank had some decorative fish, too. I like it when restaurants have fish to look at. It further adds to the upscale feel. The server was attentive, too. They were out of lemons, and told us at the beginning, suggesting limes as a substitute. (It worked.) The food was ready very fast, and came in these charming boat-shaped bowls in generous portions. Now, for the most important detail: the actual food. I'm impressed by the variety of food and drink on offer. I'm impressed by the seafood, too. I got fish, oysters, and shrimp, and for the fish, I had the choice to select catfish, tilapia, or swai. (I chose swai, despite having heard several years ago about it being bad for the environment, as I've never had it before.) I was pleasantly surprised at having the option for a variety of mild-tasting whitefish, since this wasn't on the menu. (Sure, they're basically all the same in taste and texture, but, still. Some people have cultural preferences.) The fried oysters weren't what I was expecting based on fried oysters I've had at a New England restaurant a few years ago, but perhaps this was an unfair comparison, as it surely was a different, more local species. (And not everyone cares about nuances in flavor in oysters.) Regardless, the oysters, fish, shrimp, and sweet potato fries were delicious. And the fried rice! I don't know what they put in it to make it so delicious. (Ginger powder? A special sauce? Maybe just extra salt? Ha ha. I eat so healthy I'm out of practice critiquing fried food.) Anyway: it's a great place, and with that huge menu, I'd love to come again sometime. read more

This is one of two asian crawfish places across the street from each other. I had been to the one near Hong Kong, so I wanted to try this one. I had heard good things about it, and the reviews also support that they are good. Inside is a nicer interior, one you wouldn't expect in this area. Looks like a former Mexican or seafood restaurant with the 90s wooden panels. I came with a small group and ordered 8 lbs crawfish, half mild and half spicy. Garlic butter flavor. We also added a michelada and a bowl of pho tai. Crawfish size was variable as some were small, some medium and some large. 4 lbs were mild and 4 were spicy. They told us one bag was mild, but it was spicy. The other bag ended up being mild. They put the potatoes and sausage in the spicy bag. I didn't care for the mild as it had no seasoning and the broth tasted like dish water. The spicy bag was really good and had plenty seasoning, but not much garlic as I was hoping. The pho was surprisingly good although they didn't bother to bring out any sauces, or silverware for the soup. The michelada was pretty good and I ordered two of these. They line the rim with a tamarind-based paste that is sticky. Overall, I give them a 3.5 and would come back, but their service needs a little work. Right off the bat the Crawfish is a little pricey at $8.99 a pound but the variety of the menu, the pricing as well as the service and interior ambiance kind of makes up for it. There is a $10 lunch menu section that comes with a soft drink I got the bowl of gumbo in the five wings but there were about six other choices as well and you get to pick two. The gumbo was okay, it was not bad but could be a little better, it had shrimp and sausage in it. The wings were freshly fried crispy and a good chili garlic coating helped out to taste bud party. There were about four giant 70 inch screen TVs in here as well as a lesser small or one about 65 inches that lined some of the walls. Wooden tables is where you will sit with and nice hard hard floor for the interior is actually pretty nice so don't let the outside fool you. The half Vietnamese half Caucasian server was really attentive and nice. If you get her you are lucky and I'm sure the guy that was working with her is also a good addition to the staff. And one major flaw for the restrooms is if the door to the restrooms and the men's restroom is open at the same time, you might get an uneventful Peep Show the way that's a urinals are lined out. I really hate that design that some Architects do not think about when designing these layouts in the restaurants. One kind of cruel but funny and ironic thing you might notice is they have a live crawfish in their fish tank right by the door as you walk in and out, count me wrong for thinking about it but poor thing gets to see his brothers and sisters being eaten all day. read more

There is a lot of competition in the area for crawfish but we tried their take out for mother's day and really liked their food so I went to dine-in with my wife today. The service was absolutely above and beyond. Our waiter and the other waiters were all very polite and constantly checking on us! We ordered two of the CP4 combo which includes crawfish, shrimp, snow crab legs , sausage, corn and potatoes. We both ordered the Cajun with garlic spice and loved it. For me, the medium spice level is not very hot (what my wife ordered) and the spicy (what I ordered) was on point. We really enjoyed these combos! My wife asked for bread to eat the sausage with and they baked a fresh loaf of bread just for her which was delicious. We are ABSOLUTELY returning to this place very soon!
