We had originally scheduled a time between 12:30-1:00 PM, but Tevin proactively called to see if he could come earlier. I couldn't be there in person right away, but I explained the job over the phone, and he and his assistant got started without missing a beat. After about an hour of work, Tevin noticed a haziness still lingering on the tiles and told me he wasn't satisfied with the results yet. He offered to run to Home Depot to get additional supplies, including an impregnating sealer specifically for natural stone -- something I hadn't even considered. His commitment to doing the job right was clear. By 2 PM, the difference was night and day. The tiles looked clean -- not just on the surface, but deep into the stone. I paid via Venmo, and the team wrapped up professionally. Therefore, if you have animals in your home, & want to keep your home clean & smelling nice, you know, like I do, the importance of using a reputable carpet cleaning company who values their customers. Never in a million years did I think that Upfront Home Service would do me dirty like this after all of our years of working together but I guess that's what happens when a company gets GREEDY. They forget that it is their long time customers who helped them to succeed. Recently, we scheduled a move out carpet cleaning with a few patch repairs. At first, I thought everything was going great until I saw the one patch job. We brought it to the technicians attention & he said that was the absolute best patch that could be done. I didn't agree but waited until it dried. After he left, I went upstairs and noticed that the scent that is usually very pleasant after carpet cleaning was not there but instead the stench of dirty water was present & extremely strong.This was not the norm in past jobs with them so I immediately knew something was not right. I called the office & asked them to send someone over right away to see the job that was done and to smell the odor. I thought Rachel was going to send over a supervisor to check things out the next day but all that came over was a regular technician with a can of deodorizer to mask the odor. I thought they would have redid carpet & fixed the patch but that was not the case. Mind you, my circumstances have never changed during the 9 years I have used Upfront Home Services I have always had animals, & yes, animals have accidents. There was no more or less than the norm. After they cleaned my carpet, the carpet smelt great each time, so they cannot say it was my fault or point fingers. If they had only come out to see for themselves what I was referring to after I asked them to, they would have seen & smelt what I was talking about but they chose not to. A few days after this took place, & after I had a few moments to myself after moving State to State, I wrote an email to the owner, Joseph Pais expressing my concern & instead of reaching out to me personally, he had someone by the name of Daniel Guida call on his behalf. He seemed nice at the time & said he would send someone over to fix. I explained to him that the second visit should have handled this & that we no longer had access to the home. We moved out. I told him we had spent almost $1000 on this work & the least they could do since they didn't fix any of it on second visit was to maybe refund us something. Maybe 15-20 percent of the cost since the job was not done right & no one thought it necessary to stop by next day to see what we were talking about. Well a week later, Daniel did not call me back so I sent a follow up Text to him yesterday. I saw that he read my text but didn't feel he should be professional & reply. I then sent another email to the owner, this morning, & he had the nerve to offer me a refund of $50 & a $300 credit if we ever returned to Texas & needed carpet cleaning. We moved to Florida 2 weeks ago AND WHY DO I NEED TO WAIT TO RETURN TO GET A CREDIT? REFUND ME NOW. THE JOB STILL SUCKS!!!!! If Joseph or Daniel had come to the house, they would have witnessed first hand our complaints & the odor we had after they cleaned it along with the really bad patch job. If our 9 years of business means nothing to them & they insult me by offering me a $50 refund after spending almost $1000 on this past job, then they can keep it. Apparently, they need the money more than I do. Keep this in mind if you need to hire a company to clean your carpet, tile, etc. If my 9 years of business meant absolutely nothing to them, how do you think they will treat you or your home?

Our house is 15 years old. The grout had gotten stained, and a few tiles had cracked. By tapping on the floor, we knew there were hollow spots under the cracked areas of tile. Julie and Craig were outstanding in every interaction we had. They did a wonderful job repairing the broken tile, and filling in the hollow places. Then they cleaned it, and I didn't realize how stained the old grout had become. The work was done very quickly. They don't use any day labor: you get them and their two workmen to do every aspect. They left our house impeccably clean, and gave us a bottle of cleaner that will protect the newly sealed color. I can't recommend these people highly enough. I would like to personally recommend The Groutsmith company! I received 4 in home consultations to clean my tile and grout before hiring them This company came out quickly and did a AMAZING job. (in at 9am and out by 11am for 805 square feet) WOW! I feel like I just replaced my floors. They consulted me on the best way to clean the tile and even left me with a 2 year supply of cleaner. They were extremely nice and they educated me on what they were doing. They sealed the entire grout with a acrylic based product (not some water based product). I am overjoyed with the end results. If you want your tile and grout cleaned professionally, please give them a chance. You will not regret it! One happy camper customer! read more

I had a new shower and floor put in and the contractor did not seal the grout. When he went back and sealed, the sealer turned the charcoal grout a cloudy light gray and the tile edges where trimmed glossy along all the edges. Needless to say, it looked horrible. I had reached out to several contractors and all refused because they didn't know what type of sealer had been used and couldn't guarantee it would look right. Craig was able to remove the sealer and re-grouted a perfect match to the tiles. Julie returned my initial call right away, set an appointment to review the project the next day, returned a week later and with in 4 hours, I had the bathroom of my dreams. Therefore, if you have animals in your home, & want to keep your home clean & smelling nice, you know, like I do, the importance of using a reputable carpet cleaning company who values their customers. Never in a million years did I think that Upfront Home Service would do me dirty like this after all of our years of working together but I guess that's what happens when a company gets GREEDY. They forget that it is their long time customers who helped them to succeed. Recently, we scheduled a move out carpet cleaning with a few patch repairs. At first, I thought everything was going great until I saw the one patch job. We brought it to the technicians attention & he said that was the absolute best patch that could be done. I didn't agree but waited until it dried. After he left, I went upstairs and noticed that the scent that is usually very pleasant after carpet cleaning was not there but instead the stench of dirty water was present & extremely strong.This was not the norm in past jobs with them so I immediately knew something was not right. I called the office & asked them to send someone over right away to see the job that was done and to smell the odor. I thought Rachel was going to send over a supervisor to check things out the next day but all that came over was a regular technician with a can of deodorizer to mask the odor. I thought they would have redid carpet & fixed the patch but that was not the case. Mind you, my circumstances have never changed during the 9 years I have used Upfront Home Services I have always had animals, & yes, animals have accidents. There was no more or less than the norm. After they cleaned my carpet, the carpet smelt great each time, so they cannot say it was my fault or point fingers. If they had only come out to see for themselves what I was referring to after I asked them to, they would have seen & smelt what I was talking about but they chose not to. A few days after this took place, & after I had a few moments to myself after moving State to State, I wrote an email to the owner, Joseph Pais expressing my concern & instead of reaching out to me personally, he had someone by the name of Daniel Guida call on his behalf. He seemed nice at the time & said he would send someone over to fix. I explained to him that the second visit should have handled this & that we no longer had access to the home. We moved out. I told him we had spent almost $1000 on this work & the least they could do since they didn't fix any of it on second visit was to maybe refund us something. Maybe 15-20 percent of the cost since the job was not done right & no one thought it necessary to stop by next day to see what we were talking about. Well a week later, Daniel did not call me back so I sent a follow up Text to him yesterday. I saw that he read my text but didn't feel he should be professional & reply. I then sent another email to the owner, this morning, & he had the nerve to offer me a refund of $50 & a $300 credit if we ever returned to Texas & needed carpet cleaning. We moved to Florida 2 weeks ago AND WHY DO I NEED TO WAIT TO RETURN TO GET A CREDIT? REFUND ME NOW. THE JOB STILL SUCKS!!!!! If Joseph or Daniel had come to the house, they would have witnessed first hand our complaints & the odor we had after they cleaned it along with the really bad patch job. If our 9 years of business means nothing to them & they insult me by offering me a $50 refund after spending almost $1000 on this past job, then they can keep it. Apparently, they need the money more than I do. Keep this in mind if you need to hire a company to clean your carpet, tile, etc. If my 9 years of business meant absolutely nothing to them, how do you think they will treat you or your home?

I like/need a high level of communication and got that in spades. Jim and Adam arrived in the promised window and after a walk through to explain the process and ask questions about my problem area they got to work. The smell of that pretreatment as it is mixed and applied is quite potent - but it is a good smell for sure. I mention that because we have an olfactory sensitive staff member who I had wisely told to stay away until we were done. While Fantastic was not the least expensive project quite I received they were very competitive and worked hard to understand my needs and earn my business. They are packing to leave and I could not be more pleased with the clean and freshness of our cheap glue down office carpet. Just because it looks clean doesn't mean it is and I wanted to see the dirty extraction water like always because I find it satisfying to see all that ick going down the drain. They were very careful with our belongings and respectful of our space at all points in the process. The big soup stain and the big Sprite mess at our front door are completely gone and the areas under our chairs that had all those little spots are nice and clean. Would highly highly recommend and will for sure use them again. Adam is apprenticing to James to continue the business and that is always gratifying to me on a personal level to support generational businesses that have survived and thrived.
