From the first IV stick...ouch... and keep in mind I'm not on ANY BLOOD THINNERS
    Bonita B.

All in all good place. It was clean and the staff was pleasant. I walked right in and was placed in a room (no waiting at all). Only reason I didn't give 5 star was because didn't have a good experience with my IV. I was stuck three times with the first IV leaving a huge bruise on my right arm. And it has been 2 days and my arm is definitely still hurting. Just look for yourself.

Horrible. Unprofessional. Try to talk you into unnecessary tests. Never get back with you with results. Overcharge. Go elsewhere!

I was referred to Dr. Indira Reyes-Contin after going to the ER watch center. The watch center was…read morenot at this facility but another hospital. She was very friendly and kind but there was one MAJOR issue that resulted in me feeling WORSE than when I started. If you're someone that's struggling with mental health you MUST read this. Or actually, JUST IN GENERAL. She asked a few basic questions and then some more detailed ones. I told her that my outside psychiatrist told me there's a possibility I have bipolar disorder. Dr. Reyes dismissed that possibility and explained that my symptoms weren't of bipolar disorder just MDD (major depressive disorder) and that it was "normal" to have these mood swings in depression. She prescribed me antidepressants (you don't EVERY give A-D to a person with BP). Started off with 5mg and told me that I'd feel su!cidal the first 5 days but it was a side affect of the medication (first off who even prescribes that?) Well that was not how I felt and I started feeling high the 3rd day. After 5 days I'd then take 10mg on the 6th day. I went through my first manic episode and it was HORRID. That medication worked INSTANTLY and I had immediate aggressive mood swings FAR from this "normal" she said. I made an emergency virtual session that same day this happened with Dr. Reyes and you'd think she would be worried but guess what, she was ignorant and told me to KEEP TAKING IT. "Your body has to get used to it for it to work," she said. What kind of doctor says?? I told her I had all of these symptoms and she STILL dismissed it as a part of the medication. Me and my dad were persistent that this wasn't my normal behavior and that I had gone from feeling grandiose to the next SECOND having an aggressive break down. The session was said to be 30min but it didn't even last 10min. Scammer. My manic episode lasted for TWO WEEKS and she wanted me to take it??? I would've died or kms if I did. I even started having psychological withdrawal symptoms but thankfully my mom flushed these meds down. I went from having to be in IOP to PHP thanks to her. Dr. Reyes should have serious consciences for her actions. I wouldn't recommend this "doctor" whatsoever or else she'll dismiss and belittle your situation. Just because you don't have all the symptoms of something doesn't mean it's NOT a possibility. In summary she's absolutely careless "practitioner" when it comes to the well being of patients.

She was very well spoken, very nice and I'm really glad that I was able to get someone who seemed like they enjoyed being in pediatrics. I will say the front desk she can be just a little bit more welcoming, but I know everybody don't have an inviting tone because I know I don't . However, I do highly recommend and I will be saving this so that I know where to go the next time that I have to take him to an urgent care

She spoke of recent research (I've never had a doctor speak of that in 64 years) and gave me a plan of action to follow. My ER nurse wife was impressed. I give her 5 stars, and I almost never give 5 stars. She was truly amazing!

If i hadn't handed it to my Dr. i would not have noticed anything. Don't waste your time or money! These good reviews are suspicious considering you get a Starbucks card for a five star review. I Came in for intense abdominal pain that hurt more with eating and drinking. So I'm super dehydrated but all the nearby hospitals are packed. (Kinda know why now) they first ask for a urine sample and asked what is going on, I state I usually get pancreatitis but this isn't it, hurts much worse. I give the urine sample to only see the only other patient in the build has theirs in there too. So who's is who's? Wow. I'm asked what meds I take which is a short list but one is a serious medication that you must look for interactions with only to find out with the summary he didn't even put them down, moreover he got my allergies all mixed up. The dr comes in pokes around and says oh that's the gallbladder and orders a ct scan. I assume they need to pay for that equipment because later I find out a ct scan can't see the gallbladder. With a side of serious pain and nausea meds. I literally just told them I don't and can't have strong meds the make me worse. Of course i didn't know the nurse didn't get anything right. Dr comes back a few hours later to say you are all fine nothing wrong with you, you can go. I ask so the gallbladder is fine to which he says he didn't check that. Then with the summary I noticed they didn't check for much. I'm including a shot of the drugs they have me there for one because I assume that's protocol for everyone here take these drugs while we do nothing but charge your insurance for equipment you don't need used on you today. If he suspected the gallbladder why wouldn't he check?? Now I leave with an extra bill and nothing to show my dr. I'm not giving them crap I wish I could stop my insurance from paying. Worst ever.

I looked up RapidCare. They take my insurance. Mixed reviews, but it's also much closer than anything else. I am very happy I went. Checked in and got back really quick. Front desk lady, I feel terrible for forgetting her name, was awesome and knew my insurance and it's quirks well. The three who cared for my kiddo were all extremely nice and informative. Doctor was awesome and patient. Great bedside manner dealing with my shy kiddo. The longest part was waiting on the results of their check for everything viral test, 45min. All in - just under 2 hours; from leaving to getting home. A good bit of that was the kiddo not wanting the nose swab..... For a semi emergency after PCM Docs hours. I'll be back, if that ever happens again. Super true ER type issue, but doesn't need an ambulance... I might keep driving on to a full on Hospital. This sort of thing - Perfect IMO.

I had a very disappointing experience at Rapid Care Emergency Room in Katy…read more On Sunday afternoon I cut my leg badly and ended up needing stitches. When we arrived, we waited over an hour before being taken back. The very first thing we were told was the cost -- nearly $800 for four stitches and a tetanus shot, which felt excessive but we agreed because it was an emergency. Three days later, two of my stitches came out, even though I had been very careful. I called Rapid Care and spoke with Victoria, explained the situation, and asked what I should do. She told me to come back in and assured me there would be no charge. When I arrived, I sat in the waiting room for 2.5 hours before Victoria opened the front window and asked how I wanted to pay for the visit. I reminded her that she had told me there would be no charge when I called. She then said the doctor said there would be a charge. I don't understand why she let me sit there for hours before telling me this. I asked if I could speak with the doctor and was told I could not. I said I would just wait until I was called back, and again she asked how I wanted to pay. After 3.5 hours, I was finally taken back. I had the same nurse, Jamie, who was absolutely wonderful. I explained what had happened with Victoria telling me there would be no charge, and Jamie agreed that I should not be charged and said she would speak with the doctor. While she was out of the room, Victoria came in and rudely told me again what I owed. I told her we were still speaking with the doctor about it and she walked out. The doctor then came in, examined my leg, and said the wound had become infected, so she could not place new stitches. She said Steri-Strips would be applied and that she would call in an antibiotic. After she left, Jamie came back, applied the Steri-Strips, wrapped my leg in an ace bandage, took my pharmacy information, and again told me there would be no charge. Moments later, Victoria came back in yet again demanding payment, even after both the nurse and doctor had said there would be no charge. Jamie was compassionate, professional, and wonderful. Unfortunately, my experience with Victoria was the exact opposite. She was the rudest person I have ever encountered in a medical setting and seemed far more concerned with collecting money than with patient care. Because of this experience, I will never return to this ER. I strongly recommend that Rapid Care provide additional training on patient communication and compassion, especially for the front desk staff employee, Victoria.

I used the app to claim my spot in line and it notified me when to come inside. We had just enough time to grab breakfast and sit in the car to eat. The nurse who wrapped his leg with a temporary splint was so courteous and careful with my son. We left with a CD of the X rays and an official report from the Dr. about the diagnosis.
