Second time here and I came in with an ambulance from extreme abdominal pain that caused frothing and vomiting. was hooked up to an IV from the ambulance and as soon as I got in they took it off and my pain resumed as I screamed in pain while the doctor barely looked at me. He ordered a cat scan that showed a small dot in one of my kidney then promptly diagnosed me without looking over anything else. Eventually diagnosed with kidney stones. Went home and proceeded to have severe constipation followed by diarrhea that almost instantly cured my symptoms (not symptoms of kidney stones at all). They misdiagnosed me and TRIED to send me home without finishing my urinalysis, my mother had to remind the doctor he never ran the test. I don't have kidney stones, I had an intestinal blockage that eventually cleared after dragging through my large intestines, one of the most painful things I've ever experienced- how they fucked that up is beyond me. The nurse took amazing care of me while the doctor was trying to rush me out of an empty emergency room- he only looked at me twice before trying to get me to leave without finishing my urinalysis (you know, the thing that would show signs of kidney stones: blood in urine) If you want help and a solid diagnosis that isn't made by incompetent doctors I would suggest literally anywhere else. The nurses here are amazing, helpful and attentive they are the stars of the place and the only highlight of my time there. I was grateful for their care and hospitality while I was experiencing some of the most agonizing pain I've ever had. read more

They were very kind, knowledgeable and fast at getting you in. The Docter was very nice and knew what he was doing. As well as the staff and the nurses. I had a great experience. I was sent here from an urgent care to get my son stitches. Not only were they rude but when they told me I wasn't gonna be able to get the stitches that I was referred to get they told me I was gonna have to wait. They had other patients while my son's head was open and bleeding. But I told them I would just return to the Urgent Care. They said that's fine but we're still gonna charge you when I went to the front to check out I told her what I was doing and she said well ma'am you're still gonna have to pay and I said I didn't get seen and she goes well. I don't know what happened back there. I wasn't back there. It was just all rude. I just felt like I was being attacked not treated as a patient the next week I received a $800 bill for not being seen I used to love Methodist, but this was the worst experience I have ever had with Methodist. The staff members are just rude. The nurses and the lady at the front desk rude. Whatever turned back to the Urgent Care they were not shocked at my experience. read more

Went for my sister who had an orbital fracture after initial resistant to get scan from the docotors and nurses they finally caved in to get the scan. They later said that there was no need for emergency surgery and we insisted for the specialist to come down. And he refused to come down because the doctor said she was fine. 2days later after having to go another hospital the doctor has informed us that she has nerve and muscle damage that should have been handled on that same day of injury. Now we have a risk of permanent damage all because the er doctor said no need it's all taken care of. I want to personally thank this hospital for making my family's life hell now. There is no words into how much anger this has caused us let alone money and now health. read more

I went in for 9/10 back pain (I have L5 nerve impingement), and Angella who was right about to clock out- gave me such kind, compassionate care, and did all she could to transition me over to the next nurse and doctor. I was in tears from the pain and could not move. She did all she could to help me! Same for Dr. Conway, who was leaving, but came in to hear my story to get those going for the next doctor, again so kind and compassionate! Then Rose and Dr. Allan took over. They were phenomenal. Dr. Allan answered every question my husband and I had. He came up with a great plan to help me stabilize so I can not just be rushed out of the ER -- he patiently went over every med option and listened to me! I cannot do heavy meds- he came up with a plan and was so considerate and conscientious! I never felt rushed, crazy, or like my case did not matter to anyone there. I cannot recommend them enough!!! read more

This is our go to ER I've had palm needles dug out of my calf, my son was a bike accident and had a open deep ankle wound , both my son, my daughter and me have been there for strep, flue, Covid, and anything in between they do it and do it well. Never had to wait more than 10 min to see a nurse and dr. When you don't want yo wait an hour in a waiting room full of sick people or can't make it yo the big hospital m, they are a great alternative. And if you live in Fulshear it's the closest ER from heart attacks to snake bites to broken bones. They have always been there for my family. read more

I must admit things have gotten much better from my original review. I've had to utilize the facility 3 times since then & each time came away impressed. Once you get past the front desk folks (who are still not overly friendly) everything else is top of the line. I see no reason to ever go back to a hospital ER. Most all testing is done on premises & results are quick. The staff is extremely helpful & explain everything in detail. I still have taken off 1 star for the front desk personnel but I can now recommend everything else without hesitation. 4 stars read more

All in all good place. It was clean and the staff was pleasant. I walked right in and was placed in a room (no waiting at all). Only reason I didn't give 5 star was because didn't have a good experience with my IV. I was stuck three times with the first IV leaving a huge bruise on my right arm. And it has been 2 days and my arm is definitely still hurting. Just look for yourself. read more

Wow. What can I say? We thought my husband was having a heart attack and brought him here. Total bill was north of $12k. Jasmine Bookert MD, the emergency physician, refused to respond or cooperate with United Healthcare's request for an itemized bill and we were sent to collections. She wanted direct payment, no insurance, I guess. I do not recommend this ER. Drive the extra 5 minutes, or call an ambulance and go elsewhere. It will be less expensive and they give you better service. TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE patient experience. Update: according to United Healthcare, what Dr. Jasmine Bookert charged is far greater than what services were provided. No response from the ER. Sketchy, very sketchy. read more

Very fast patient care, all staff members were amazing. Family member was in emergency distress, we were take back immediately, the provider meet us in the room. Pain of the family member was relieve within 15 mins of arrival. The staff were amazing, kind, and very competent; got the IV try in one stick. Second day of the ice storm with no connectivity and no answer from regular doctor offices, man looks for closest medical facility to help. At 4PM, a 75 yr old man walks in with a catheter that is leaking from the insertion (not the equipment). It needs to be removed; and if still needed, another one inserted. 6PM a urine culture has been done. (shift change) 7pm blood work is ordered, despite at least 3 blood tests on Houston Methodist record in the last 90 days. 9PM They say "if we remove the catheter, we may not be able to insert another one and you would have to go to the main hospital." Man goes home with a leaking catheter and a badly bruised arm where the idiot nurse didn't know how to draw blood. I'm not sure what kind of emergency they can handle at this place or if I would waste time trying to find out. If we had known at 4PM or even 5PM, we could have gone to the main hospital, but at 9PM with forecast of refreezing roads, we had no choice but to return home. The place was clean and the staff were nice. read more

What a great team here! So, our dog decided it would be a great idea to pick up a bat yesterday afternoon. Yes, the flying kind. This coincided with the arrival of the bus after school. Kiddo and the wife managed to distract the dog to drop the bat....then our 12 year old went to go investigate what the dog had picked up. Animal control came and took the animal in question, wife called the vet, vet said dog is fine, she'd be concerned about the human. So the decision was made to take her for the dreaded rabies shots. Dr. Allen and staff were very courteous, relatively quick, and best of all, Dr. Allen made the right phone calls to the right people (an epidemiologist) and we got to leave with no shots! read more

I went into this ER for vertigo and numbness & tingling in my arms and hands. They gave me a CT scan and did blood work. Came back and said they found nothing. They could not explain the vertigo and said I just needed a better pillow for the numbness, because I must be sleeping wrong. Then, when they filed with my insurance, they said I came in for a non-emergency and insurance tried to bill me for the full amount. Well, a couple of weeks after I was finally diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Pretty sure that no pillow exists to fix that. I was able to get the insurance portion fixed, but I will never return to this place. I should not have been treated with "get a new pillow". read more

We brought my young son on a Saturday night a couple weeks ago and had a great experience. My only complaint was the checking in at the front- my son was having an asthma attack but the secretary wanted to make sure she got our complete address and phone number before she lead us to a room... No. Get my kid to a room and then worry about the details. Other than that, great service and treatment, would definitely go back. read more

Excellent! I had never had the need to use an after hours emergency facility. I located this one as the Methodist facility closest to my house. I arrived and was greeted by the receptionist who was extremely nice and started asking the normal what brings you in questions. She asked for my insurance and ID and asked if I had been to Methodist before. I said I had. She quickly looked up my Methodist info/my chart. I waited less than 5 minutes, when the nurse greeted me and showed me back to a room where they started taking vitals and blood tests. The doctor was in within a few minutes and asked questions and after doing an exam, I was given some pain meds. She told me I would need a cat scan. Within an hour, I had a cat scan and the results in 15 minutes. After the cat scan, I had to go to the hospital. The ambulance arrived within minutes (30) and I was taken to Methodist West. The staff at this facility were excellent, caring, and timely. I would highly recommend! read more

While visiting my daughter and family I had some health issues. My daughter and son in law have been to the Cinco Ranch facility several times and assured me this was the place for me to be. Were they ever right! When you walk through the door you're treated like family in a top notch medical care facility that is modern, spotless and with every diagnostic hardware and test you may need. A wonderful staff of professionals to care for you and get you out with little fuss. Dr. Chin and the entire staff were terrific. Emergency? This is where you go! read more

I highly recommend this facility and the staff!! This was the best emergency room experience I've had. I am very impressed with how quickly I was seen, how professional and kind the staff was, how quickly they diagnosed me, and how quickly they performed an MRI to confirm the diagnosis! The physician I saw, Dr. Edwards, was very competent, professional, and sympathetic. He took the time to explain my diagnosis thoroughly, and to answer my questions. Before heading to the emergency room, I had gone to a local urgent care, and was told I would have to wait 45 minutes! Instead, I went to the Emergency Care center at Cinco Ranch, and I'm thrilled with how quickly I was helped. I haven't received any bills as of yet, so this is just a review of the staff and the care provided. read more
