At 1:10 I was taken to yet another waiting room where I waited another 10 minutes until I finally got my MRI which took 15 minutes. To top it off they couldn't burn my CD when I had finished because it was "stuck in a queue and they need to wait for IT. This was after another 15 minutes of waiting. All told I was there for over 3 hours and they still didn't have my things so now I need to make a second trip back. The sheer incompetence and inconvenience of this place is pathetic. A gentleman called me back and was making my appointment, but I had a dropped call and he did not call back. I had to call back to make sure I was on put on schedule and this took about another hour. My appointment was at 4 o'clock. I arrived a few minutes to check in and filled out some paperwork. The front receptionist asked for ID & insurance card, she takes the cards from me and asked me to have a seat while she verify my insurance. The gentleman who took my information and made my appt ensured me someone will call me to let me know if everything was good to go and if any payment that would be due (Great, because I hate surprises). No one called about payment/copay due or insurance verified. The front desk was verifying my insurance while I sit and wait. X-ray tech called my name and escorted me to the back. I had to answer some questions before she can start, common procedure. The whole process took about 15 minutes. Overall beautiful and clean facility. If my doctor did not referred me here, I would have gone else where. The whole experience with making an appointment was troublesome.

I received a text today that I would owe $550.00 +3% if I used a credit card for an upcoming appointment and to call with any questions. I called to ask why so much, my deductible has been paid for some time now. After going through a frustrating phone menu and being placed repeatedly on hold, I was told that my insurance had been verified and I've not met my out of pocket or my deductible, that I should call my insurer. After a 3 minute call, my insurance confirmed what I already knew, my deductible is paid. I called Houston MRI Cypress back, and again was repeatedly placed on hold. I voiced my findings to the person I had spoken with previously and asked her to contact my insurance company to re-verify, that the info they were given was incorrect. I was interrupted, not allowed to speak and very curtly told that my insurance had already been verified and couldn't be changed. I was told that I needed to call my insurance company to have them call Houston Cypress MRI to make arrangements to speak with one of their insurance specialists. We both raised our voices and talked over one another. I hung up. Why is it my job to make calls and arrangements for a provider to verify my insurance? If the verification had been done correctly in the first place, this would not be an issue. If I had not been interrupted and had been spoken to politely, I probably would have done it. Fast forward to the next morning. I received a call from the interrupter to see if I wanted to move my appointment up. This conversation was no different than the last. I later spoke with Alba, a manager who also refused to call my insurance. She insisted that I initiate a three way call. I decided to play along. While starting the three way call with my insurer, I was informed that not only had my deductible been paid, but I had a zero co-pay with Houston MRI. We made the call. Bridgette answered and immediately put us on hold. We held until we couldn't any longer and hung up. Customer service died a long time ago. Houston MRI Cypress is a shining example of that.

I have been getting my screening mammograms here for decades but today when I went in I was given a…read moretablet computer and asked to fill in my information. I started to fill it in and it was all information I had previously given them many times and it was difficult to enter as you had to choose a month, day, and year individually. I am 80 years old and do not remember the exact date of my last menstrual period! Other patients were audibly complaining about the length and detail of the questions and I soon learned that many of the questions seemed to be irrelevant and questionable as to the purpose of gathering such info (ie "what country were you born in?") They asked for personal health data and dates that I no longer remember and had previously given them. They also asked to sign off on the receipt of policy documents that had not been given to me such as Privacy and others. Their staff was overly solicitous in trying to force us to complete all the minute data and sign off on everything and they would "help" us. They said Memorial Hermann had instituted a new system and that's why they needed all the data. I asked why the new system had not uploaded the old history and was told they "could not do that." I became concerned about their tactics and refused and left without completing it and not receiving any services. I will find my care elsewhere.

The place always looks like there is a lot of people on the waitlist but every person takes about 5 minutes or less to get done. I came here a few days ago and the phlebotomist is super funny and makes you feel at ease. I was talking to her about the nursing applications and requirements and I was trying my best not to laugh when taking my blood (,: The whole process was over before I knew it since we talked the entire time. I didn't even notice the needle because she was just that efficient. Honestly a really great experience and there is nothing to worry about when coming here.

Provided images on a disc, for your personal records, and/or to provide to any future providers. As well as providing all images to your recent assigned physician. I came for neck and back injury. I was informed that each will take 30 mins. Total of 1 hour, (in the tunnel.) -1* I would prefer them to, provide a one to two minute break period between the two sections. Verses, continuing to proceed on to the back, once completed with the neck images. In the tunner, you can Not move at all. And for the neck images, which was done first. I had to wear an head/face holder to keep my head and neck in place. With my neck injury I can Not good my head still in one position for an excessive amount of time. (Example 30mins to an hour). Collecting back images I do NOT have to wear the head gear. They should have definitely, slide me out, to remove the head wear. They do however provide, a hand held alarm bulb, (similar to the pump that belongs to a blood pressure cuff). For any assistance. Which I did have to use. Overall experience was good.

My blood order was quite complicated but needless to say he was able to help me with the paper work. Very helpful and Just him trying the best he can and knowing what he's doing saved me time from having to go back. Not many are like that. He was very good at drawing blood and very polite and professional. It really shows how much he cares about his job and people. I hope some were able to learn from him.
