Ricardo's famous and greatest lie is "we were very transparent with you!" I agree with everyone else that has left a bad review for this business. The people at JC Auto Body Repair did lousey work on my vehicle. The details are too lengthy to mention. Alas Ricardo lies, take liberties with doing work on your vehicle that hasn't been cleared with the owner beforehand. He tries to gas light you when you try to discuss with him why you are not satisfied with the substandard work that they have done on your vehicle. They painted over chips on the old paint and advised me not to take my car through the carwash, something that wasn't a problem prior to JC's touching it! Currently rust , that was never on my car before , is coming through the paint job that they did on the hood. All said and done I'd never return to them, even with a "warranty". The insurance company has given me the ok to have their work redone, but I'm having a difficult time finding a dealership that's willing to go behind JC's and redo their work because of unseen issues/risks that they may run into.

They gave us a list of collision business to take our vehicle to get the damage assessed. Once the assessment was complete and we decided not to go through with the option to have the car repaired they re-assembled the vehicle and we picked it up. Upon picking the car up it was extremely dirty, random pieces where everywhere, and most important there were suddenly ants running rampant in our vehicle. The ants were both o outside the car and inside. One day I even left my Stanley cup inside the car and ants were on my Stanley cup once I was returned. The car drives differently and it almost feels as if something was done internally to the vehicle though they denied this. They did a great job and I'm certain out a lot of effort into it. They also buffed out a scratch on one carbon side blade. All around great job and done quickly. 0 stars. This was the worst body shop experience ever. They are extremely sexist & just flat out…read moreliars. I've been working with the service advisor, Tomas, since April 5. Not only did they not complete all of the repairs to my vehicle but I was quoted a price by Tomas for other repairs. Later, when the work wasn't done, I spoke with the manager Sam and he essentially said, "because Tomas didn't document it, it didn't happen, therefore we will not honor it." He then quoted me a price that was over $200 more. Obviously prices change by the day here and is at their discretion whether they honor a price, or document a conversation. I know this may seem like an angry rant, but I actually work for the insurance company that my car is insured by, and I know how these things work. I chose this body shop because I thought they did quality work, and while they are not the cheapest body shop, I thought they did great repairs. I've obviously been proven wrong. **Updated review -- I still wouldn't go back. The work that was done, I can honestly say, was done right. My custom colored Firenze Red Jaguar SVR was blended perfectly, but there were other things on my estimate that they didn't even take a second look at. The manager Sam was nice but at the end of the day there was no real resolve. They sided with the employee, (which is understandable from a business aspect,) but not at the expense of calling your document having, customer a liar. What's most disturbing is that because Tomas didn't document the multiple conversations that we had, the manager essentially wrote off anything that I said because he didn't document the conversation. If you choose this body shop, PLEASE get everything you do in writing. Every phone call, every voicemail, make them send you email correspondence. That's probably the only way you will not get cheated.

When I received the paperwork to see the cost they charged the insurance, it was half of the price they quoted me. They charged the insurance around 50$ per hour for labor, and quoted me around 75$. Material prices were also different, therefore they pull out prices from thin air. Next issue was the very poor quality of work they did. I have a white car and they didn't clean it properly after painting and before sealing it. So dust and dirt got trapped underneath the sealer. I had the smallest scratches possible and for them to fail at doing a proper job is very unfortunate. I would never ever recommend this place or take my car again to this place.

My insurance took a while to send the supplement over to JJ, but once JJ Auto Body received it, they got started right away, which I really appreciate. I just wanted to keep you all informed on what's going on. JJ Auto Body has continued to impress me throughout this entire process. I've never dealt with a body shop before, so this is my first experience, and I have to say...the consistent communication and updates have been phenomenal.
