Today we had the most delicious bar-b-que at Howard's and you should have it too ! Wife Mary and I visited Green, Cay Nature Center and wetlands park than headed over to Howard's food truck. It was AWESOME! Howard's smoked brisket is possiably the best I've ever had. Full Stop! Mary had the Rib Tips and they were equally delicious. Now for the collards.. OMG ! The Best! This is "Real Pit Bar-B-Que at its best. Howard was able to sit with us and tell us his story , how he began, his food truck is just a side gig. But his flavor and quality could steal the show. Howard recommends to call ahead with your order and it will be ready when you arrive.. He's parked his food truck in the same location for many years plan to eat in your car or take it away as there's only a small table with 4 or 5 chairs for emergency. His barbecue sauce is homemade. the tangy was very delicious. The hot was amazing. Oh, did I mention the collards? ! Get there early he runs out because his food is fresh . He loves to cater parties, pick up a menu when you get there and plan to throw a party with his food . Thank you, Howard for delicious food. See you again real soon. Peter & Mary

Someone needs to humble this place. Everything tasted like it was made the day before and reheated... I have to say, I was VERY excited to try this place after finding the reviews on yelp. Had to wait a few weeks to get here on a Saturday but eventually made the trip out to get there right when they opened... was expecting a line down the block as is typical for a hot bbq spot open odd hours (think Franklin bbq in Austin). However, arrived and was the only one there. I ordered sliced brisket and ribs with coleslaw, Mac and cheese and cornbread. Was told they don't have coleslaw... never heard of a BBQ place with no coleslaw. Ok no problem I got the potato salad instead. I started with the cornbread since it was on top and it's best to eat that while it's hot. I was given a corner piece which was dry, crumbly and not edible. -1 star. Potato salad was very eggy if you like that style, I do not. Mac and cheese was bland, with the only cheese on top rather than mixed in, again not my style. -1 star on the sides. Ok so main event, Brisket and ribs. The brisket was tough, stringy and dry. It was also cut into little pieces rather than giving you the whole slice which was strange it wasn't chopped though thank goodness. -1 star for the brisket. I was given rib tips instead of ribs which was disappointing, however they were flavorful albeit difficult to eat as rib tips tend to be. Wash on the stars for the ribs since they gave me the wrong item even though it ended up being 1/2 decent. So, overall 2 stars for this place, that had certain items unavailable, inaccurate order fulfillment, bland sides, terrible cornbread, and dry, stringy brisket. I'm sure they have some great items, I just wasn't able to find them on this trip.

This place is amazing!! I had the catfish and my boyfriend had the sausages. Everyone who is working there feels like family and is so dedicated to making great food! The catfish was so crispy and flavorful and the sausage was juicy and cooked very well. Also the sauce options compliment both of our meals. Not only is the food great it only took about 10 minutes or less to cook.

Georgia style smoked sorcery available at this pop up gem. Get the brisket (fatty) and the pulled pork with dirty rice on the side. Amazing. Several sauces to choose from

What days is the BBQ Truck open?

Just Saturdays, I believe. They have a telephone number, listed. It is best to call before you go. Just in case they are off that week.

Service (N/A): Everything is ordered on your phone by scanning the QR code on the table. They bring out all the food on a platter. Sauces: I loved all of their sauces! They aren't too spicy but have a depth of flavor. I especially liked the white sauce mixed with the spicy. Coffee was meh. Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes but the meal was a bit of a letdown. Our neighbor's brisket looked better than our meal. Pulled Mojo Pork (4/5): The pork felt dry despite being covered in mojo seasoning. I would have preferred plain pulled pork but it still accompanied the sauces well. Single Hamburger (is actually two (2) 3 oz patties) (5/5): I enjoyed this burger due to the sauce and loved the potato roll. We ordered it with bacon which were thick cut slices and that was delish. Mac and Cheese (2/5): Rich but not much flavor. White cheddar cheese rather than yellow cheese. Hush Puppies (4/5): You can skip the corn bread if you're going for the hush puppies which were heavy due to the fried exterior. Without the homemade butter, the hushpuppies did not have much flavor to it. Curly Fries (2/5): No frills with some seasoning, but not much. Did not have any crunch, felt like I was eating soggy fries. Plantains (5/5): Hard to mess up sliced plantains but due to how heavy they are, we only had one a piece. Having had BBQ in many places, this place isn't it.

This is a charming little hole in the wall in downtown lake worth. Decor is adorable, and the vibe is beachy casual. Everything is scratch made, farm to table, carefully selected by the owner. There was so much to choose from, so how could I not try something savory and sweet? The chupacabra was unbelievably delicious with a fluffy buttery biscuit, some of the best mac and cheese (very cheesy!), hot sauce, and crispy juicy fried chicken. It was like a whole southern meal packaged in a sandwich, but it took me two days to finish (it was huge!). The All hallow's eve was a perfect mix of sweet and savory, starting off with a cinnamon roll biscuit that puts both biscuits and cinnamon rolls to shame, crunchy fried chicken, an egg and bacon.
