We checked-in with our tour guide and let him know that we were joining another family. They put us in the same jeep. They can fit 4 people on the roof but you must be a certain height. I would want to ride above but it was really sunny so I didn't want to get burnt, lol. You'll ride through many many acres of land with all types of animals. They have varieties of antelope that freely roam. They can get really close to the jeep so be careful. I was surprised that the place did not really smell like poop like some other zoos, lol. The tour was like 2 hours on the jeep and another 1 hour walking tour. Our guide was very informational and had great humor too. Our kids loved it and I think all adults would enjoy it also.

Cute little place to stop at with a toddler…read more There is a nice little train ride (different cost from other rides there, more expensive) that is actually decently long, and it even stops for you to get out and explore a mini train town and see some alpacas and goats. They have little gumball type machines that you can buy feed to feed the animals for 25 cents. TrainTown has a few other rides as well, including a toddler-friendly roller coaster! There's also a boat ride that spins and goes from side to side, a carousel, a merry go round, a ferris wheel, and others. Parking was easy to find even though the lot isn't huge. This was surprising to us as we went on a clear Saturday in February.

But no she said we could not join them in line even though many other people had jumped the fence to get in line with their friends RIGHT in front of her but she just so happened to tell us we couldn't just go with our family, we even asked which many other people did not do but we were targeted I felt very humiliated and degraded which after the whole situation she saw people cut the line and said nothing yet had the urge to call us out this whole situation felt very unfair and uncomfortable.

While I understand that ride malfunctions are beyond the control of the staff, the lack of communication regarding the situation was disappointing. 20 minutes later, we did what we could of just done 20 minutes ago. Which was stand up and get off while they held the boat. On a positive side, the Looney Tunes show was great, and the staff member William from Totally Wing'n It started the day off with good customer service. His friendly demeanor highlighted the importance of a simple smile and gratitude, a lesson that many of the park's employees could benefit from. Additionally, the kids enjoyed the Road Runner Express, where Anthony's high energy and engaging personality made the experience memorable for everyone waiting in line. At 3:05, we boarded the Flash ride, and I regret not catching the name of a remarkable staff member who provided exceptional service. She engaged with riders through games and demonstrated outstanding customer interaction, which left a lasting impression. Interestingly, my daughter, who visited for her eighth-grade trip, recognized her and noted that she maintained the same vibrant demeanor. Additionally, while on a different ride, I overheard two strangers praising her energy with the guest as well. Unfortunately, I did not get her name, but she had long braids in her hair, and I hope her efforts are acknowledged with the flowers she deserves. I would also like to highlight the contributions of Myles and Destiny. Myles, in particular, excelled in engaging with riders, adding his unique flair to the experience. His ability to connect with guests through the microphone, was just different, I actually got to ride that ride twice and Destiny was engaging as riders were getting on asking if we were ready, nervous, or scared, significantly enhanced the atmosphere and made the ride more enjoyable for everyone involved. Now I'm come my disappointed with six flags starting with the butterfly exhibit which to my understanding is supposed to close 30 minutes before the park's official closing time which on my day 7/19/2026 Sunday was 7, BUT!!!!!!!!! it was already shut down by 5:15 PM. This, along with other attractions like Wonder Woman, Medusa, and Kong being closed, detracted from our experience. Guests expect to explore the park fully, and the numerous closures led to longer wait times at other rides. The situation with Medusa was particularly confusing, as it was open upon our arrival to the park, closed when we got there to ride it, only to see it operational again as we're leaving at 6:45pm. I believe a public announcement or a mass text message could have alleviated some of the confusion. There was a lot of wasted time trying to determine which attractions were available, and which were not. Now let's discuss food, While waiting for burgers, it was so disgusting to witness a couple loudly arguing and using inappropriate language in front of children, with security taking an unusually long time to intervene. When I finally reached the front of the line, I was informed that they had run out of burgers, which wouldn't of been a big deal if you would of communicated that. It's not hard to make an announcement informing customers you're out of something, so they can decide to pick something else or leave to another food place. I bought the refill cups, and in my opinion that was a great deal, but the soda was very flat. Just want to address some sanitary things that stood out to me, for example the stuffed animal prizes at the games were mostly, covered in dust and spider webs. Although I noticed someone attempting to clean them later in the day, it was too little too late, as the park was nearing closing time. Additionally, the Thrilla Gorilla ride appeared neglected, with cobwebs and trash accumulating, which detracted from the overall experience. Having grown up visiting Six Flags, it is disheartening to see the decline of such beloved parks, especially with the recent soon to be closure of Great America. It would be unfortunate for Six Flags to follow suit due to inadequate maintenance and a lack of enthusiasm among staff, who seem disengaged and unwelcoming. Visitors expect a positive experience when they spend their hard-earned money, and neglect in customer service can lead to safety concerns, particularly in an environment filled with rides and animals. I've been coming here since I was a child, I do hope this review is taken serious.

The San Francisco flight was a bit dizzying but great and the T-Rex dinosaur experience was fully computer-generated but still a lot of fun. Each ride lasts about 10 minutes and features immersive details like tilting seats and wind effects from fans. It would be nice if they also added mists when you fly over the ocean. It's wasn't too expensive I believe it was $15 for adults and $13 for kids. Its something different to do if the weather is not great.

The wind blows in your face, and when you were going over the water, you feel just a little bit of a spray. I don't want to give anything away, but it does take you all over the city. It was really a lot of fun. The only reason I'm taking off a star, is because the flyer ride is a bit expensive. It's $14 per person, adult or child. That wasn't too bad for myself, but if you are more than two or three people, it can add up. Regardless, it was well worth the money for myself to do. I wouldn't come back to see the same movie, but if they changed it, I would ride it again.. This ride is also part of the "San Francisco city pass. I had fun.. Thanks!

And while it maintains its dated look, which I love since it brings nostalgia, there are a lot of updated and more modern games that they provide: VR for one and more screen games. Our favorite was the multi puck air hockey game! That was extremely fun! They kept the old school arcade, but also expanded. We'll try the mini golf next time. It may be a little bit expensive but it was worth it and kept the kids and adults busy! We'll definitely be back!

Hiya B.U.M.S., The…read moresummer heat has been absolutely no joke lately, so we packed up and headed over to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor in Concord to soak in some sun and cool off. Rolling in around noon, the parking lot was surprisingly empty, giving us high hopes for a day of zero lines and endless rides. Of course, a theme park day always comes with a few twists. Here is the summary of our day--the good, the bad, and the delicious. Security screening felt a bit random. While my wife's sandwiches were cleared without an issue, my cousin's chips were a strict no-go. I also forgot I had a tiny Bluetooth speaker clipped to our bag; security let us bring it in, but requested we keep it off (fair enough--no one wants to hear someone else's playlist!). We initially scored a nice shady spot, but the sun moves fast and the shade vanished within an hour! Luckily, we stumbled upon a total "secret spot" to hang out for the rest of the day. Our first meal of pizza and breadsticks was decent but a little dry. However, the cheeseburger and fries meals were a massive hit. We ordered three of them throughout the day, and our 11-year-old son chose the burger every single time and thoroughly enjoyed it. The park left the condiments out in the scorching sun (nobody wants warm ranch!). Worse, the fine print failed to mention that desserts were excluded. We saved our last food window for a funnel cake, only to be denied at the counter. The staff couldn't explain the policy, which wasted 30 minutes of our ride time. My waterproof phone case gave out early (cough cough, OtterBox, hook me up for a review! ), so photos were limited, but here is how the rides stacked up: The Big Winners: Tornado was beautifully terrifying--my son and I rode it twice, both taking turns going down the drop backwards! The Honolulu Half-Pipe (the "Blue Taco" ride) was also a massive hit for an 11-year-old. The Water Slides: On the Four-Slide Tower, the Orange Slide had two solid drops and the Yellow Slide was plenty of fun. We skipped the White Slide, and the Blue Slide was closed. Breakpoint Plunge was awesome, and Splash Water Island was a blast to explore. Pools & Rivers: Caribbean Cove won points for having genius in-water benches. The Lazy River was a great length (despite a little floating debris), but Breaker Beach (the wave pool) felt like it was operating at only half-power. We had to skip Big Kahuna entirely due to a massive line and a slow tube-loading system. The biggest drawback was ride efficiency. The staff lacked a smooth system for loading and unloading, making wait times much longer than necessary. Additionally, the restroom cleanliness wasn't up to par for a Six Flags park, and we noticed quite a few ants hanging out around the food shack. Between the line inefficiencies, warm condiments, and the dessert pass surprise, the park layout easily sat at a 2-star rating. However, the sheer amount of smiles, laughs, and pure excitement from the kiddos boosted our final score to a 3 out of 5 stars. Would we go back? Surprisingly, yes. When the California heat is beaming down, you just need a place to jump in and cool off. Hurricane Harbor did exactly what we needed it to do: it kept our family refreshed and making memories together. Until the next adventure, stay cool!

An okay one-time tourist attraction…read more I didn't know this existed until I came here with my family this past weekend. It had been a while since I last visited Pier 39. We were showing my aunts and uncle around the city, so I thought this would be something fun to do with the family. We had 8 people, and it was $14 per person. After we got our tickets, we went up the escalators to the second floor and walked inside. There was no wait. We sat in the top row, and we could see the edge of the screen. If you have the option, I would recommend choosing the bottom row. Note, if you're super, super afraid of heights, this may not be for you. The guard rails go away and the platform slightly lowers during the ride. I'm afraid of heights but this was nothing for me. However, my two aunts told me they were gripping the handles tightly the entire time. The experience was really short, about 5 minutes or so. For the price, video quality, and duration, I wouldn't pay to do this again. Definitely not worth the $14 per person.
