We also went to many different exhibits, like the shark area and the sea lions. They were all really cool to see and watch swim around. My friend pointed out for many of the animal exhibits that they were way too small for the animals and could be problematic, leading to things like stress and negative behaviors. While I'm not too sure about all of them, some of them I definitely agree with, like the sea lions, the sting rays, and the lions. There was a few attractions that were shut down that was very disappointing to see, especially the otter enclosure which was one of the main things I was looking forward to. Overall, it was a nice experience with a lot of fun things to see and do. I wouldn't recommend going on a weekend if you want to go on the rides as hour + long lines started appearing everywhere after about 2 or so, I'm still surprised our line was empty when we went on the water ride when we did! I'm more zoos national parks, and museums than a theme park guy. Good things; Theme Park Rides: All the rides we went on were great( we went on a few of the smaller rides( Monkey Business and Thrilla Gorilla) as well as the water ride (White Water Safari). It was awesome plus at Water Safari they had a good walk in drier that got most of our closes dried off. Animal Attractions; The Shark Experience was a cool aquarium space with a nice tank for several shark species. Me and my friend had a lot fun going through it. Rainforest Trails was a beautiful greenhouse full of dozens of different types of butterflies. It was so beautiful seeing them flutter through the mini jungle. Aside from the sloth habitat being a bit small it was a good attraction. Among the most impressive habitats we saw was the cheetah habitat, there was plenty of space for the five cats on display with some extensive view of the enclosure. Very beautiful. Improvement needed: In there Marine life area all the animals we saw( California Sea Lion, Harbor Seal, Stingrays, and African Penguins) could us some new, expanded habitats. They all appear like they were built back in the 1980s and need to be updated. While at the Stingray touch pool I saw multiple individuals that appeared to have injuries on the side of their fins from with each other or from rubbing against the side of the pool to much, I am not sure. Many of the larger animals( Lions, Cougars, Wolves, and Giraffe) could definitely benefit from larger and more natural habitat similar to those at nearby zoos such as the Oakland Zoo, San Francisco Zoo, or Sacramento Zoo. I was a bit disappointed with these habitat after seeing those that house some of the smaller animals that live at the park (Rainforest Trail, the Cheetah habitat and Shark Expeditions. I can understand that theme park rides eat up a lot of cost but the animals could use some bigger habitat spaces Over all I had a good time but I hope the animals I mentioned get better habitats

Unfortunately, I felt like I had to take a star off because this place is super run-down. Many of the greens are torn up, which makes it challenging to play each hole. There is also a lot of stuff everywhere, making the space feel cluttered and dirty in some areas. Compared to other mini golf courses I have been to, this one ranks fairly low on upkeep. Overall, a fun place to enjoy some time as a family. Great for young, old, and everyone in between. Just don't expect top-of-the-line greens or a pristine course.

The San Francisco flight was a bit dizzying but great and the T-Rex dinosaur experience was fully computer-generated but still a lot of fun. Each ride lasts about 10 minutes and features immersive details like tilting seats and wind effects from fans. It would be nice if they also added mists when you fly over the ocean. It's wasn't too expensive I believe it was $15 for adults and $13 for kids. Its something different to do if the weather is not great.

It was really a lot of fun. The only reason I'm taking off a star, is because the flyer ride is a bit expensive. It's $14 per person, adult or child. That wasn't too bad for myself, but if you are more than two or three people, it can add up. Regardless, it was well worth the money for myself to do. I wouldn't come back to see the same movie, but if they changed it, I would ride it again.. This ride is also part of the "San Francisco city pass. I had fun.. Thanks!

For many years, I brought my children here to celebrate several of their birthdays, and we always had an amazing time. Between the batting cages, go-karts, and arcade games, there was never a shortage of things to do. My kids had so much fun that they never wanted to leave, and I loved seeing them enjoy themselves and burn off all that energy. These are the kinds of memories you cherish forever--watching your children grow up and celebrating special moments in a place that always delivered a great experience. To me, Scandia isn't just a family entertainment center; it's part of my family's story. Each arcade station costs so many points to play. The machine accepted cash, cards and mobile pay. A few of the machines were broken, so after the machine took our points with no play we approached the counter and were credited via the play card. There were racing games with cars and motorcycles, shooting simulators, street fighter/mortal combat style games, asteroids, pac man, air hockey and more. The Fast & Furious racing simulator is the best, power ups, nitro packs, the setup of the steering wheel and pedal felt real, the interface was super engaging. My husband and I went head to head and it was incredible! This game is literally the reason I picked Scandia. Miniature golf too, we did both grounds - 18 holes each. We had a grand ol' time. Our daughter and I usually venture to Scandia for her playdates and for her play, but this time was amazing since I got to play too esp play what I wanted to play without compromise. I already recommend and enjoy every visit here.

Review #23 for 2026…read more Went here over the summer during a trip up north for Memorial Day weekend. We had passes for Magic Mountain which were valid at any park owned by the company. Parking was really easy and really, any parking spot of close the the entrance. I had a prestige pass and so I literally was allowed to park right at the entrance. Checking in was easy and security went smoothly. I had my 2 year old with me and I did bring him some snacks in case he was being picky that day, not a lot, just a couple piece of chocolate which shouldn't be a big deal. They made it awkward by yelling "hey, picky kid here, can they bring these in?" to the head security guy. He told them it was fine, and that he didn't care about a couple piece of chocolate. I felt like they didn't need to yell it out loud in a line full of people. Other than that, security check in was pretty quick. The park is fairly small so it's really easy to get around. They provide life jackets of all sizes and I wish I knew that before because we brought our own. There is a lazy pool, a wave pool, and a couple kiddie areas, both which have seating nearby. There are also multiple water slides. I only went to the kiddie area, the lazy pool, and the wave pool since my toddler is attached to my hip. I thought they were all great. My husband and brother went on the slides and they said it was really fun. There's a handful of food options. The pizza was terrible. We also got the tenders and the cheeseburger which were average. Not terrible but also not great. We're season pass holders with dining plans that work at all the parks, so we get food at every park we go to since it's included. If you were to pay for your own food, meals are on average $18, so roughly $20 with tax. For $20, unless you're kids are starving and hangry, I would say save your money and go out to eat after. Drinks are also about $6 a cup, but again, we have an all parks drink plan so we did not have to worry about paying for drinks either. Alcohol is expensive at about $20 a drink. Other food items I saw were hot dogs and grilled chicken sandwich which my brother said was dried. This park was not too crowded, unlike down in southern california. We got there at around opening, but there were plenty of chairs open through the day. The wave pool was really fun and my baby boy loved it. He never wanted to leave! The lazy pool was cool too. There are dips at certain points and the warning is not very clear so I was surprised a few times before I picked up on it. They have tubes for rent, which my husband got, but at the end of the day we never really used it. There are also a couple gift shops with supplies if you forgot them... but it is more pricey! Would I come back. Yes, I had a great time here. We easily spent a whole day here and it's not crazy packed. It was very easy to get to. I just wish this park was closer so we could visit more often!

An okay one-time tourist attraction…read more I didn't know this existed until I came here with my family this past weekend. It had been a while since I last visited Pier 39. We were showing my aunts and uncle around the city, so I thought this would be something fun to do with the family. We had 8 people, and it was $14 per person. After we got our tickets, we went up the escalators to the second floor and walked inside. There was no wait. We sat in the top row, and we could see the edge of the screen. If you have the option, I would recommend choosing the bottom row. Note, if you're super, super afraid of heights, this may not be for you. The guard rails go away and the platform slightly lowers during the ride. I'm afraid of heights but this was nothing for me. However, my two aunts told me they were gripping the handles tightly the entire time. The experience was really short, about 5 minutes or so. For the price, video quality, and duration, I wouldn't pay to do this again. Definitely not worth the $14 per person.

The walkway towards one entry of the dog park was flooded through during my visit, but there's another entry after crossing a bridge. Half the dog park was shaded by trees and the other half was nice and sunny. The fall atmosphere was really pleasant.

Lol I'm not too sure what that does within the sewer system or maybe it was a clean drain pipe, but it looked a little off to me or dirty? Lol. Nevertheless, my dogs like the area and when we got to the dog park, there were three different entrances. I didn't realize that at the time, and we walked in the entrance closest to us once we crossed the bridge. That was covered with hay, which sadly I'm allergic to, and my throat was closing as we walked towards the back where the Half of the dog park was closed due to mud. Guessing they put hay over the entrance by the front because it was muddy, but goodness! My dogs like the area and they're paused. Did get a little muddy, but they didn't really find any friends although there were a number of different dogs there and cute little community circles! People seem to know each other since this park is in a local neighborhood and I'm sure they walked from the neighborhood. Not sure if we'll go back to this dog park. Maybe when it's not raining, so I don't die from the hay. Lol.
