You have to be in the neighborhood to come across these little shops. But, with a name like "ROXY'S CAKE STUDIO", how could you not stop in? Ok . . . yes . . .that is exactly what happened. Headed to the brewery on the corner . . . parking was limited but FOR one space in front of ROXY'S. Of course, it was like a magnet . . . and within minutes we had purchased $18 worth of beautiful sweets. A beautiful Chantilly dessert in a jar. A banana/strawberry/vanilla dessert in a jar and the most beautiful "cookie". The cookie had a lemon Oreo baked inside it. Yum! Although all of the desserts we tried were good, I'd say Roxy's real talent is DECORATING. Her baked goods are unique and beautiful and very colorful. If you have a special family occasion, I would pick up something from ROXY'S. Your family & friends will be delighted. Especially the children - colorful desserts get them every time. Love this little LOCAL shop.

Crunchy layers on the crust and buttery goodness inside that doesn't even need butter. The lady, the son(?) and the chef brought their pastry to our table even if the spot is a food court. The owner, Bella, was very friendly and gave us tips on other spots to check out around town. What really stood out is that they don't use seed oils or processed ingredients. You can actually taste the difference. Everything feels lighter and fresher. We tried Terry Bradshaw's favorite - the crème brulee croissant. It was creamy, flaky, and worth the hype. The pistachio cronut was another winner. They bake it not fry it, yet it was perfectly crispy. The cronut also came in Madagascar Vanilla and chocolate fillings. Each pastry was also topped with edible flowers. On top of all this, it came in this cute little Louis Vuitton-style cloth to-go bag that made the whole experience feel extra fancy. Highly recommend stopping by if you are at Sawmill Market.

And I don't know what other parking lot there is other than the one that is located Thankfully, I was able to find parking at the time that I visited. I tried a Chocolate Chip cookie and a Keto Samoa cookie. They were both pretty good. The chocolate chip had a sprinkling of sea salt on top, which for some reason brought out the flavor more. I enjoyed it very much. As for the keto cookie, that was amazing! Had chocolate and caramel swirled into the cookie. I should have bought another one. I think I'll have to get it again the next time I visit. I received good customer service, which is hard to come by these days. Especially during this pandemic! This place is definitely a must try kind of place! I appreciate that there is a place like this to go to and visit especially during these hard times. Thank you! I'll be back.

On a sunny Saturday, there were a lot of people taking in the smells and sights of El Vado. RBC had a collection of cookie dough pops, ice cream, ice cream sandwiches, and several different kinds of cookies and bars. I got the red velvet ($2), oatmeal toffee ($2), and 2 of the keto samoa bars for $4 each. The samoa bar, although messy, had the right amount of chocolate (I love plenty) and the red velvet was soft, cakey, and big. It was the kind of cookie you have dreams about My dad loved his oatmeal cookie. Glad to help support a small business. Will be back soon to enjoy a cookie in the sunshine! 2021 #4

Well upon entering we could see that there was not much variety on the particular day we went around 12:30 pm so I ended up getting the last Cinnamon Roll and hubby got a pastry that I can't recall the name of. My hubby felt that the gal that walked up towards the counter to help us was rude and non communicative. I'm usually the one who notices these things but something about her demeanor really set my hubby off. So we quickly paid for our order and took off. Once we got home we brewed up some coffee so we could try our treats. I have to say that I was pretty let down. There is a lot of great reviews on this page for these pastries but unfortunately neither did I or hubby experience the same. My cinnamon roll was so dense and dry and the texture of the sugar glazing on top was so off putting in my mouth. Hubby ate his pastry and shared with me that he didn't care for it either. Maybe it was because my cinnamon roll was the last one and maybe it had been sitting out all morning. I will say that the location is in a nice area of old town. The shop is very cute and has ample seating. It just wasn't for us. Come out and give them a try
