A master at work. Howie is a craftsman at the height of his considerable powers. He cares deeply about his work and his customers--toothbrush-level, no-stone-unturned deeply. I brought Howie my 2009 Honda Accord which I bought used in 2011. The car had taken a moderate beating inside and out from 4 years, 40k miles, and all-outdoor parking (much of it heavy-traffic urban street parking). In particular, one side of the car had been scratched by ice and snow. I told Howie I thought it needed some love, and was bringing it without anything specific in mind. Based on the Yelp reviews, I had a feeling whatever he would do would be great. And it was great indeed! The car looks brand new. Howie labored for hours on the ice scratches alone and made them disappear. I also happened to need to mount a replacement front license plate, which I planned to do elsewhere; Howie noticed it missing and mounted it for free in addition to the detail work. Even if--or perhaps even especially if--you have never had your car detailed before, as I had not--you should really go. His price was more than reasonable, but that isn't the main reason you should have your car detailed here. Howie's work will remind you of the intrinsic value of excellence and beauty. If more stars were possible I'd give more stars! Howie couldn't have been more professional and personable if he tried. He arrived at my house promptly as he claimed he would, he drove my car to his shop, detailed it inside and out better than I ever could've imagined possible and delivered my car back into my garage later that afternoon. What a service! Not only was the entire process painless, but the results exceeded my expectations. Howie knows what he's doing and how to treat his customers so that they want to come back again for his expertise. The bottom line is this...Howie obviously cares about what he does, he is very skilled at his craft, he uses high quality products and he made my car look like it just came off the showroom floor! Great job! I feel that I should also mention that Howie offered to personally apply some touch up paint (which was supplied by my dealership) to a knick I have in my door as a result of someone opening their door into mine. This was a service he easily could have charged me for and one he certainly didn't have to offer to help me with. Again, just another testament to his workmanship and eagerness to please. Howie does not disappoint by any means! I found Howie's Auto Detailing through Yelp and chose it because of the glowing reviews and high ratings which were most definitely well deserved. My 2008 Ford Fusion had not been detailed before and had some bike grease and water/mold stain issues, so I took to Howie last week for a quote, and he not only gave me a reasonable quote but squeezed me in for the next day after he had a cancellation. He also identified the issue with pine needles clogging up my vents and took care of it that day so there wouldn't be any more water backing up into the car. The location is about 1.6 miles from Starbucks, a nice walk and somewhere to hang out for the almost 6 hours he and his team tackled my vehicle. Yes, it was a team effort, but when I got it back after Howie picked me up that afternoon, it really was a brand new car. They did a very thorough job with the detail - exactly what I was looking for. Well worth the price. I was amazed - I really didn't expect it to get as good as they got it to be. I'll be returning to Howie in the future. He was very helpful, gave plenty of tips to help keep my little Fusion in tip top shape, and is just an honest and friendly person which I appreciated. I have always taken pride in maintaining my vehicles. The time commitment, though, is more than my schedule can permit these days. Howie's results make me question whether I will ever do my own detailing again. Howie is courteous and a true professional at customer satisfaction. I dropped off my 2011 BMW X5 the night before the service appointment and called Howie well after normal business hours to make sure he knew the key was in the drop box. To my surprise, Howie answered the phone and assured me that my vehicle was in good hands. Start-to-finish the entire job took about 8 hours. When I arrived to pick up the car, I was amazed! The two things that I noticed immediately was how shiny my vehicle was and how much pride Howie and his colleague, Mark, displayed. Mine is certainly not the first vehicle that they've detailed, but their excitement over the results gave me the impression that it was like they just finished detailing their own car. In addition to the exterior and interior looking great, the leather feels soft again and cabin smells great - unexpected results from an extraordinary shop. We brought our 2010 Nissan to Howie recently. This car was a leased vehicle and we needed it to look really good before ending the lease. My daughter used this car while in college in NC, and it was always outside. It didn't help that when she was at home, the spray from the sprinkler system would always hit it. As a result, the exterior of the car had acid rain damage from bumper to bumper. After bringing it to a couple of other places, I was too optimistic that anything could be done, short of having the whole car repainted. Then we brought it to Howie. Howie spent a lot of time going over the car with us and explaining the process he would use to get the paint looking good again. Still, after everything we heard and read about acid rain damage to paint, we thought it would be less than perfect and we hoped to at least get the car looking good enough to get it through the lease inspection. Much to our amazement, after working on the car for a full day, this car looked beautiful inside and out! We passed the lease inspection with flying colors. If I could give Howie ten stars I would! I can not imagine going anywhere else ever again! Howie is a craftsman and and artist in his trade. I chose Howie's Auto Detailing because of the good reviews on yelp and after reading his website. He is the first person I found that uses a steam cleaner on the car's interior. My cloth seats were VERY BADLY STAINED (I'm very disappointed in the quality of my 2013 Hyundai's interior, which seemed to stain very easily) and I couldn't find anyone who gave me any hope for getting the stains out. The last time I paid to have my interior shampooed, I was told there was nothing they could do about the stains on the seats. You can imagine how impressed I was to find my car with a perfectly clean interior. I mean it, the interior looks almost BETTER than when I bought the car brand new. Not only did Howie get the seats and floor mats looking amazing, but he cleaned my cargo area beautifully and steam cleaned my engine!!! He also hand waxed my entire car so it is gleaming. Howie obviously loves what he does and gives his full attention to every detail. Bring your car to Howie, you will be glad you did! read more

My car had not been detailed for several years, but Howie did an incredible job bringing it back to top condition! After a winter of my car looking sad, and quite a bit before that of making a mess by practically living out of it, he got the paint glowing and the headlights shining again. His attention on the outside even went so far as the exhaust pipe and wheels (areas that other places completely skipped) to ensure everything was sparkling. On the inside, it looks and smells like a bring new car and feels enjoyable to drive again! Even the floor mats are spotless again! The best part is that Howie made the whole process so easy by picking up my car at home and delivering it right back to my driveway leaving me free to go about my day. He may cost a little bit more than other places I have tried in the past, but the convenience and high quality more than outweigh it. We recently bought a gift certificate for our young adult son as a Christmas gift. He was starting a new job with a long commute, and as the inside of his car hadn't been cleaned in several years, literally, we thought it might make his commuting time more pleasant. He received the gift cooly, but we made the appointment and his attitude changed when we picked up the car. His almost 12 year old car looked brand new inside and out, and he was thrilled! The carpets had been power washed, the scratches in the paint had been buffed out, the stains on the upholstery were gone, and everything smelled fresh. I brought my 2012 Ford Escape to Howie after using / abusing it as a farm vehicle, plus it had been covered in gypsy moth caterpillar poop. It was a disgusting and embarrassing vehicle. Howie and another guy spent their entire day busting their humps, deferring all other work, in order to get the car back to me because I had a complicated schedule the next day. When I picked it up, I almost didn't recognize it, it looked brand new. He even cleaned up the engine compartment. Not only was the quality of the work fantastic, but Howie was extremely accommodating, easy to communicate with, and most impressively, did it all with a good sense of humor. Howie is truly passionate about cars. He tinted my windows and waxed my car. He explained the whole tinting process and the type of wax he would use. Tinted windows came out great, wax on the car was baby smooth! A week later I noticed one of the tinted windows did not set properly. Howie gladly took it back the following week and replaced it with a new tint. At no extra cost. He just wanted me to be happy with the tint. A month or so later I was driving through his lot and stop to say hello! Howie had me pull over because he noticed a scratch on my car. He buffed it out and shined it up within a few minutes! Wouldn't take any money for it. He said it just bothered him to see that scratch like that. A great guy. Takes care of all the cars like they are his own! I'll be back for another car wax! I had researched other detailing businesses in the area and after my first experience of excellence, I went back again. My car which is a 2008 CRV looks brand new. I brought a returned sales vehicle company car from The Porter and Chester Institute to Howie for detailing. The car was in such bad shape the company had considered returning it to the leasing company. There was dirt, food, road salt, mold and everything else covering the interior. The exterior had a branded shrink rap material on it. The exterior was oxidized, stained and had never been washed. Howie took two days and the car honestly looks as great as the day it was received from the dealership. AMAZING!!! I never would have thought this was possible. I brought our SUV to Howie after a bag of liquefied year old grass clippings leaked in it. The smell was horrendous, could knock you unconscious from 5 feet away. The car also had 4 years of transporting a dog and two young children wear and tear on the interior, plus a few exterior scratches. I asked Howie to get rid of the smell and detail the car completely. After a few days Howie returned the car to me in the same condition as the day we bought it. The smell was gone, replaced with a new car smell. The interior was spotless, and the exterior was scratch free. His rates were extremely reasonable for the work and time he put in. I found Howie's driving by one day. I needed my windows tinted desperately. I called him and he got me in right away. Not only did he get right back to me with a time and day to bring in my car but I didn't have anyone to meet me there and take me back home while my car was being worked on, so he offered to take me home and then to pick me back up when the car was done. They do awesome work, the tint is gorgeous, you would never know it wasn't factory tint. I couldn't be happier and he is so accommodating. During a heavy rainstorm I left my windows open (sunroof too) and my car was flooded (cup holders overflowing kind of flooded). I was concerned for the car that I love and would have done/paid anything to fix it. I called Howie. He talked me down, calmed my fears, even hugged me, said -he would take care of it. I left relieved and knew my car was in good hands. And he was true to his word. He did an incredible job. Amazing work. Also worth noting, this was a big, labor intensive job yet Howie's price was quite reasonable. Many businesses today would take advantage of desperation but not Howie. WOW! Howie's a miracle worker not to mention the nicest guy you'll ever meet. My car was a dumpster fire courtesy of a Husky dog that shed a whole dog every day. Then of course there were the numerous outside runs in the mud all of which ended up in the back seat. The hair was embedded into the carpet, in the air vents, ceiling, every single crevice of the vehicle. When I picked it up it might as well have just come out of the showroom. This isn't the first time he's worked his magic for me and each time its better. I've recommended to friends and they've all thanked me. I echo everything said in the previous reviews. An early Feb. snowstorm brought a tree limb thru my car's rear window totally shattering it. Tree, glass and melting snow stayed in the back of my car for 11 days while the glass co. found a replacement-the car is an '03 Saturn. It was tarped but outside. Then I met Howie. He took my wreck and returned it 13 yrs to showroom quality. He is meticulous. I was so impressed I had him restore the outside too. The sap is gone, the finish is silky, the headlights are bright and the rims reflect my happy smile. Howie deserves 10 STARS! Now I need to keep it this way. Howie did a great job on our 3 year old SUV that is heavily used by our family of five. Three kids, two dogs, lots of road trips for sports tournaments and college tours with meals, snacks drinks and dog hair. The road build-up of tar, bugs, etc is all gone. The vehicle looks so great in and out that I don't want to take it out of the garage! With 70,000 miles it looks brand new. It was done when Howie promised for the price he quoted. He worked around our schedule and was very thorough. I got a full 10 minute report on every issue he noted with the vehicle all the way down to the fact that the inspection sticker was about to expire.
