The spare ribs were tasty and I think they had some truffle oil. The sushi and sashimi was very fresh. The chefs provided 3-6 pieces of sashimi/sushi/nigiri of each type of fish so we could do our own tasty menu together. Our sushi boat came with the seared hamachi make + caviar roll which was really good. I would definitly order that again. The prices can be expensive, but the sushi is fresh and worth it for special occassions!

Yesterday the food came out at a good pace, but sometimes it comes out all at once and is overwhelming. The waiters are always so nice. Food: - hot and sour soup (8.5/10): great starter. the wonton chips on top were such a good addition. - lettuce wraps (8.5/10) - spicy edamame (9/10): can't go wrong - pork potstickers (9/10: i love the seasoning on these. - yellowtail thai basil spoons (10/10): my favorite thing on the menu, we always get 2 to start and 2 to end they are amazing. spicy, and so much flavor. - duck bao (4/10): i personally did not like the flavor of these so will skip next time. - crispy chicken wings (10/10): my favorite chicken wings! love the flavor. spicy - spicy tuna crispy rice (9/10): a must order as well!! love the presentation - seared hamachi and banana pepper (9/10): the fish is so fresh and the sauce is flavorful. - tuna pizza (7/10): these are good! i think there's too much going on for me but a lot of people love them so worth a try. - tuna taco (8.5/10): i like these more than the tuna pizza!! - salmon and fingerling potato (8.5/10) - black pepper udon noodles (8.5/10)

Its small inside with tables for dine in. 4/5 drunken noodles was spicy and delicious. Arived fresh and hot. This was lunch portion so assuming its smaller sized. Think there was only one cook so things bit slower but fresh cook to order. 4/5 fighting fish roll was decent. Crunchy tofu skin exterior and packed with flavors of pork, crab and shrimp. Juicy and hot inside, good flavor and texture. 3.5 siam fried rice was decent and flavored well but just wasn't distinguishing itself enough. Service was decent, it was one guy doing waiter and cashier. He was back and forth and sometimes waiting inside kitchen. Overall will come again since location has decent parking and reasonable prices and good thai food. I like their specials menu which I assume rotates.

The food is spicy, delicious, and flavorful every time. Everything is fantastic and I've yet to taste a dish that I wouldn't get again. Things I've gotten: -Larb - quintessential, can't go wrong. -Thai Saap Pork Ribs Soup: SO GOOD. Sour and spicy (you can adjust the heat). It was perfect during the cold winter. The ribs were very tender and the broth was full of flavor. -Pad Thai - again, can't go wrong. -Wonton Soup - some of the best I've had. The broth was deliciously savory and so much tastier than the bland versions you get from most Chinese places. -Pad See Ew - also fantastic. -Rad Nah - appreciated that they packed the noodles separately so I could assemble the dish fresh. No soggy noodles. -Ka Prow Crispy Pork - by the time I got it home, it wasn't very crispy anymore but it didn't matter because the flavor was fantastic. -Crispy Chicken Basil - same thing, not too crispy but still delicious. Restaurant decor looks comfortable and there are a decent amount of tables inside. I haven't made the effort to eat onsite yet, but looking forward to doing that at some point because I definitely want to try their whole fish. It looks amazing! Can totally understand why some people would be intimidated by the location and look from outside, but looks can be deceiving! Absolutely worth the drive.

May 15, 2026 I'm…read morewriting this a week retrospectively from my experience, since I've been through a few things medically in the last week and needed time to think about our family's experience at Karma-Burlington. First - our server, Kendra A. Was really good and kind. She worked hard for the 7 of us and my few criticisms don't reflect on her at all. First - let me say that Karma/Burlington is not set up properly for large parties. Our table was located right next to the kitchen door. It is neither a gracious nor a comfortable place to have a large dinner together. Secondly, the table was both too narrow and not long enough to accommodate people and large plates of food. In other words, it was cramped and because of that, not nearly as welcoming as it could have been. Third - the music in the restaurant is obnoxious. It was always on the edge of being too loud and it's directed at a younger crowd .... People who either don't care about assaults on their hearing or who don't care about being able to have meaningful conversations at moderate levels. Now... let's talk about the food. Generally, it was really good, though their Pu-Pu platter for two sucks for the price ($37.00 each). There were no egg-rolls on it, only two fried shrimp, a stack of boneless Chinese rib pieces, and some chicken fingers - which were overly breaded and not worth eating. I also counted four crabs Rangoon pieces on each platter. Not exactly a generous offering!! I'd definitely skip this appetizer next time. Now - we chose, as a family, to eat communally - passing plates around and sharing everything. I've attached the photo of the receipt, so that you can see what we ordered. Three plates stood out as exceptional: the Coffee-braised short ribs were really delicious. Fattening, but amazing. The second was the Beef with mixed vegetables - one of my perennial favorites at Karma. The third was the Mongolian Beef, which was tender, savory, and delicious. The Stir-fried Yee Mein was not memorable and I'd not order it again. My eldest daughter ordered the Philly Maki and the Cucumber and Avocado Maki. Both were good but very much not exceptional. A number of us ordered the Hot & Sour soup and it was very good - as it usually is. The soup was served piping hot and quickly, which made it a small delight. The service we received was good across the board and the restaurant cannot be faulted for how busy they were.... Which I have to say did not at all impact the quality of our meal. If you want to go to Karma-Burlington as a group, tell the manager that you do not want the table where we were! Other than my specific concerns, it was a very good experience and I'm happy we went.

We booked our table in advance, and the reservation process was smooth--they did take a credit card to hold the table, which was totally fine and gave us peace of mind for a busy night. The staff was incredibly accommodating. They allowed us to bring our own birthday cake, and at the end of the meal they brought it out with birthday candles for my daughter, which made her feel so special. That thoughtful touch really meant a lot to us. The food was excellent. We loved the sushi--fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The Yin Yang Chicken was a standout dish, perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The drinks were also fantastic and paired really well with the food. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations for both food and drinks, which made ordering easy and enjoyable. Even though the restaurant was packed, the service never felt rushed. The atmosphere and ambiance were lively, vibrant, and perfect for a celebration. You could really feel the energy of the place. Overall, Karma was the perfect spot for a birthday dinner--great food, great service, and a great vibe. We'll definitely be back for future celebrations and nights out. Highly recommend!

It was also, apparently, less salty, presumably for the same reason. The amount of kimchi in the "sample" was so plentiful as to almost fill up the mini cup we used for takeout. They have a large selection of vegetarian and vegan food, as well as some gluten free items, though they lack the staff and kitchen size to accommodate celiacs, so it's really more of use for people on elimination diets or with poor digestive capabilities. The owner had prior training in Italian cuisine, which is the reason such food is on the menu, and while neither my father nor I had occasion to try it, it is apparently a passion of the chef's, and the shared discussion of their mutual interest in Italian cooking may be the reason my father was given a free "sample" of kimchi, which was larger than the paid order of kimchi at most other restaurants. The food portions, in general, are massive, with the leftovers of an order of wonton soup not fitting in a to-go canister, with other orders being similarly large. Their jasmine tea is unusual for its slight fruity flavor, and ability to "overbrew" without becoming bitter, instead maintaining its delicate flavor. Each table has condiments, which in addition to including the "normal" chili crisp, and fish sauce often found at Asian restaurants that provide table condiments, have the more western pepper grinder, as well as garlic salt. Curiously, there is no "normal" salt as often found at western restaurants, though bottles of sriracha are found at every table. Perhaps the garlic salt and sriracha are the restaurant's "unique twist"?

Still excellent, still sweet (though now more noticeably spicy too), and still important to remind that the dishes here are not necessarily attempting authentic cuisine of specific regions (even though specific dishes are named), but more of a freestyle approach. The wings have improved in recent visits. More plump, more crisp, more juice, more flavor. Still good value. Still a little weak on the service (more about being young, unfocused and lacking initiative than anything approaching rudeness). Still highly recommended.
