Both the washer and dryer were 25 years old but worked well--until yesterday. I tried fixing the dryer without success. I Yelped and discovered Matthews Appliance. Winning. After an hour not only was the dryer functioning, the washer was also repaired even though I didn't know the top part of the agitator didn't work.
