The Blue Crab, Lobster, Unagi Hand Rolls, and Sakura at HRB were all delicious. Everything was beautifully prepared.

3/5. I got omakase experience. The food was not memorable and the rice was mushy and not seasoned properly. The fish wasnt that fresh either. Also every course was a rehash of the previous one - same fish over and over again. The guy at the counter was very cool and attentive but was rushing too much. Also its pretty windy here. After trying another hand roll bar we all know - you know what good hand rolls taste like. One and done

My reminder to not eat here... -_-

Price / Portions / Taste does not add up at all. The rolls in the photos are blue crab on one and lobster on the other. The waitress talked us out of getting the baked roll. She said it was literally ONE small piece we would have received for $20+. These were about $30+ each and there's nothing but the meat and seaweed wrap. They are also very, very tiny pieces and did not taste beyond mediocre. Luckily we ordered a side of eel sauce to help. After this snack, we have decided to cook our salmon at home since we were still very hungry. I recommend going into the food court next door for a lot more options and if you need to fill up.

My HRB Experience was very pleasant. The service was fast and attentive. I received a great recommendation on pairing of my sushi and drink. The place is located outside of the foot court of the mall. With a decently sized patio, the people watching was prime. I went with the Tokyo Omakase which left me full. It included Sashimi, hand rolls, Nigiri and dessert. I paired it with the Kikusui Perfect Snow Sake. Divine!

I randomly ran into HRB while shopping, and it was definitely NOT a mistake. I'm a huge sushi enthusiast, and before moving to LA, I tried just about every sushi spot in Texas, from the cheapest to the most expensive. I can confidently say the quality here is up there with the best. This place is hand roll focused, and that's exactly how you should order. I don't do rolls. I stick to hand rolls, sashimi, and nigiri, and HRB does all of it really well. Each fish tasted clean and fresh, and the uni really stood out. Knowing the uni comes from Santa Barbara makes it hit even harder if you're serious about sushi. SO good, and surprisingly affordable compared to other spots. I would come back here again and again. It's one of those places where you get high quality fish without destroying your budget, which is rare. If you actually care about sushi and want something solid without paying luxury prices, this spot is IT. Service was friendly and easy, the food came out at a good pace, and overall it's just a really great find. Go try it. You won't regret it.

Fast service, okay food. Enjoyed the miso soup, scallop, and crab handrolls. The rice was a bit dry and flavorless for our taste. The scallop and crab worked better because of the mayo, but the rest were just alright, hard to compare to rolls served with hot rice. If I tried this spot again I'd probably try for sashimi or nigiri.

I can't believe I've never been here before! I am so happy that I came across it while at the mall! Their hand roll combos are delicious, perfectly made and so fresh. The spicy tuna rice cakes are out of this world. (I ate them before I could take a pic ha) They honestly may have beaten out Nobu's for me. Perfect balance of spicy tuna, rice and sauce. Most places have too much rice, but HRB's was PERFECT. A must try. Oh and the ginger salad is massive and delicious. Ricardo, our server, was amazing, attentive and so fast even when the bar was totally packed. He is great and we will absolutely be coming back!!

Really loved HRB. The ambience is super aesthetic and fun, the drinks are well-made, and the food menu has great variety. Definitely a go-to spot for a good vibe

    Crispy Rice

HRB is hands down the best spot to eat at Westfield Century City Mall. From the moment we sat down, everything just felt right. The food is incredible, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every roll we tried was packed with flavor, and you can tell they really care about the quality of what they're serving. What really made the experience stand out though was the service. Emily took such great care of us. She was attentive without hovering, super knowledgeable about the menu, and made great recommendations that we ended up loving. You can tell she genuinely wants you to have a great experience. Between the food, the atmosphere, and the service, this place just delivers. If you're at Century City and trying to figure out where to eat, this is the move. We'll definitely be back.

    A5 UMI RIKU- Cut Roll

HRB Experience is seriously one of my favorite spots for sushi, especially for happy hour. Everything is super fresh, delicious, and the deals make it even better. My go-to is the Umi Riku cut roll -- the A5 Wagyu and toro combo is insane and honestly hard to beat. So rich and flavorful, I crave it all the time. The staff are always awesome -- quick, efficient, and really friendly. Huge shoutout to Manager Emily, who is constantly running around making sure everything is perfect and everyone is happy. Always a great time here. Highly recommend

If you like Kazunori you will not like this place. Rolls are served all at once so the experience does not feel made to order. The appetizer tuna crispy rice was so tiny. I didn't even bother to try it.

Me and my significant other came inside to grab a drink at the bar and we were denied service because her shoulders were showing. I'm in utter disbelief. Safe to say I will never come back to this location or even South Beverly grill. Not to mention it's 90 degrees outside at 3pm. She was in designer capris and a top with expensive jewelry on (I am a jeweler by trade) I am appalled. Here's the kicker. I'm Jewish and they asked me to take my hat off when I can not for religious purposes. This is discrimination on another level.

This one is actually in WeHo east of La Cienega in kind of an upmarket strip mall. It was just strolling distance from our hotel, so it was the ideal spot for a casual dinner before venturing onto Santa Monica Blvd for the PRIDE festivities. We actually had the foresight to make a reservation and were initially seated inside next to the bar where a couple of loud sluggos were holding court. To his immense credit, the host noticed the noise and asked if we would prefer a quieter seat in the patio. This was LA, so hell yeah. We were grateful. The menu has many delectable specialties, though we were feeling conscientious and focused on their salads. Jamie ordered the $24 Mexican Chopped Salad, a robust mix of grilled chicken, chopped romaine and arugula, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, radishes, avocado, and queso fresco, drizzled with lemon vinaigrette (Photo 9). It was a Cal-Mex delight. I went with the $25 Oaxaca Cactus Salad with grilled shrimp, fresh cactus, diced tomatoes, red onions, jalapenos, cilantro, and queso fresco. It was liberally mixed with tomatillo dressing (Photo 8). The cactus provided a nice, crunchy texture. We also shared the $10 Grilled Seasonal Veggies, a tasty mix of carrots, zucchini, and summer squash (Photo 7). But don't be too impressed by our healthy choices because we went for the $12 Mexican Bunuelos (Photo 10). Crispy, thin fritters topped with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce.
