After shopping we went to the food court for a quick bite. We opted for Fuwa. They were offering samples of the chicken teriyaki and it was pretty good. We ordered 2 bento boxes - one with chicken teriyaki and the other with beef teriyaki. Both under $13! The bento comes with 2 potstickers, 3 California rolls, salad and rice. I was surprised how big the portions were! The chicken teriyaki was slightly better than the beef because it had more flavor. The California rolls were just ok as were the potstickers and salad. The meats were tender and again the chicken just had more flavor and more of a grilled taste. Wish there was more sauce for the rice. Service was good and since it's in the food court there was plenty of seating. But for the price it's totally worth it!

Standard mall food court Japanese food at the Century City Mall. I got the chicken and shrimp teriyaki since it was the special of the day and $1.00 off when I visited. My order was completed very quickly and the portion was big and at a good value for $11.99. The chicken and shrimp was moist, nicely charred, and had good teriyaki flavor. The side veggies and fried rice were okay. They were mid on their own, but paired nicely with the meat. The only thing I didn't like was how oily and greasy the food was. There was a pool of grease and oil at the bottom of my to-go box which wasn't appetizing. The service was good and they gave me a water cup upon request. Overall, a decent experience here. This is a good option of you're looking for a cheap spot with large portion sizes at the Century City Mall.

I went here back in December during the holidays because my friends and I wanted to go to an escape room here at the mall We wanted to eat somewhere else but they said the wait was 45 min since we didn't have a reservation so we ended up here in the food court Anyways at first glance it looks alright like it's gonna be decent Service was a little slow despite them not having anyone in line at the time Get my food... honestly it was alright it wasn't that flavorful and food tasted just alright nothing amazing or yum it did the job of filling me but the egg rolls were dark oily tasting like it had been sitting there all day I don't know if it was because it was end of day?

Left a $5 tip to get charged more for a sauce? Food is mediocre and oily! I'd rather go to Panda Express next door!

So happy to have found this gem in the Century City mall food court!! For only $12, I got this huge plate of delicious food enough for two meals!! The chicken and shrimp teriyaki plate comes with rice and mixed vegetables - I subbed for fried rice for an extra fee. They also have noodles and appetizers. They make it fresh on the grill and it was really tasty!! I want to try the yum yum sauce next time but I forgot to get it and it is sold separately. Will be back!

This place is super good. Theyre energy and offerings of samples is what drew me to the place. They were very happy and energized and huge smiles on their faces. Its also cool to see them cook through the clear glass. The food is good portions and when i first tried their teriyake through the samples it was super good and so is the sauce. The food was delicious and i definitely wanna come again! Seeing u guys happy, extremely kind, and energized made me happy and really enjoy the food! Thank you!

Located in the Century city mall food court area. Unless you're a big orange chicken fan, you should at least try this place. We got their shrimp and chicken teriyaki special with some veggies and rice. Generous portions, great food at a great price! ;)

Fuwa is located in the center city food court upstairs on the second floor. The workers here is super friendly and sweet! The value for what you get is amazing! As you can see from the photos, they really pack the food! The flavor is definitely more of a Japanese cuisine rather than Chinese! My friend got a pencil box which was really nice because it's a good mix of greens and crunchiness! I would definitely recommend if you are very hungry and I want to get the most out of your money!

This place is delicious and affordable. Portions are huge and can feed 2 people or 1 really hungry person. They were also giving away samples of the chicken teriyaki so you can taste before you buy. Located in the food court in the century city mall.

Super friendly staff. The food court and outdoor area was really nice. The food was good, but I will say it could have been hotter. I had teriyaki chicken and a spring roll. The spring roll was good. The food wasn't cold, it just wasn't hot either. The thai iced tea was meh. Kinda had some taste to it i wasn't the biggest fan of it. Other than that, pretty classic express teriyaki chicken. 4 stars.

Pretty good option in the mall food court. Prices are reasonable and the portions are large. I got a beef bento box and added shrimp for an extra charge. There were quite a few people waiting for food, but I don't think I had to wait more than about 10 minutes.

This place is fantastic! I am shocked no one was in line when I walked up. I ordered the chicken & shrimp plate. Such a great deal for $15. The plate is flavorful and they give great portion sizes- not too massive, but definitely not a cheap serving. The service was quick and friendly. & I love the ambiance of the food court. It's very elevated in comparison to other food courts. I will be coming here again.

We ordered a bunch of cocktails along with a few glasses of red wine and champagne. The cocktails were definitely the highlight. We tried the Blackberry, Cucumber, Snow Pea, Tomato, and Daikon. My first glass of champagne was unfortunately flat and pretty gross but to their credit they replaced it immediately once I mentioned it. Still, for an upscale restaurant, that was a little annoying to begin with. For food, we got the asparagus, burger, fries, abalone, and the bluefin tuna belly deviled eggs. The abalone was easily the standout dish of the night. Everything else ranged from just okay to forgettable. The burger sucked. I even called about an hour after I got home because I started getting a scratchy throat and realized I didn't specifically ask if there were strawberries in the raspberry sorbet (I'm allergic and that was completely my mistake for not double checking before I chowed down) but the host that answered was super nice, I could hear in the background her double checking with a server, who then even double checked with the kitchen to make sure they were giving me the correct answer which I really really appreciate. The food was fine, portions on the smaller side, but OK. For an appetizer, we had pretzels and fondue. $18. You get plenty of them, and they were really good! Perfect for sharing. For the main course, I had the seared tuna chopped salad. $27. The dressing was perfectly light. It was a good salad. Again, the portions are not large, but the quality was good. One of my friends had the steak Diane, $61. She gave it 4 out of 5. It was perfectly cooked. She also had a scoop of ice cream. $5. Not bad for that kinda' place. They have a great payment system I've never seen. There's a QR code on the bill, and you can pay for your part of the meal, or pay for whatever you want to. I have to say the communication leading up to the event was pretty disappointing. I sent emails, called multiple times, and often got no response. I eventually found out that only certain people handled private event bookings, but getting in touch with them was a challenge. Every time I called the hotel, I was told they had sent the events team a message. Even after I finally secured the reservation and paid the deposit, I still had questions that went unanswered. In fact, some of them weren't addressed until the night before the event, which was pretty stressful when you're trying to coordinate a special occasion. For a hotel that markets itself as a luxury 5-star property, I honestly expected much better communication and customer service. The booking process definitely did not feel like a 5-star experience. That said, once the day of the event arrived, everything went much more smoothly. The service during dinner was good, and the staff took care of us well. We had a prix fixe menu for our guests. I had the steak, which was cooked really well, and the tiramisu was a nice way to end the meal. Most importantly, everyone had a great time, which is what mattered in the end. One tip if you're planning to come here: there's an underground public parking garage right next to the hotel that's much cheaper than using the valet. Overall, the food and service on the day of the event helped make up for a lot of the frustration beforehand. I just wish the communication and event planning process matched the standard that The Maybourne advertises.
