Drinks are good, most cashiers are nice, and the store has remained clean despite the influx of customers. There's plenty of room for customers to taste and mill around and fill their cups. Love this place especially in the summer!
There are some great things about Texas. There's BBQ, there's that Texas babe OCA Courtney B. (Go add her), and now HTeaO! "Texas Born & Brewed" and now finding its way to Glendale, AZ, HTeaO is the 31 Baskin Robbins in the tea game. I came here recently because my friend, who lives in the west valley, has been singing their praises. After visiting my parents, I decided to stop by and yeah, I get it! They have so many flavors that you can mix and match and for under $5, why not? They have a great selection of sugar-free options too. I believe all their drinks are sweetened with real sugar too so none of that corn syrup stuff here either. It's great. I like it here. I now have a new spot to pop in to before or after visiting my family. Happy Hour BOGO, every day, 2pm-4pm.
Iced Tea Fact: Iced tea's popularity grew significantly after its introduction at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair, and it now accounts for about 80% of the tea consumed in the U.S. HTeaO is the place to go if you like iced teas. There are so many flavors available and you're encouraged to mix-and-match. They even have a "secret menu" that they proudly display for you to try and recreate. On my first visit, I tried to make cotton candy. I couldn't get the ratio right but it was still pretty good. This is a great gimmick that has come out of Texas. I hope they open more locations around town. The price is pretty great and they have happy hour daily from 2pm-4pm, BOGO free.
Iced tea? Yes please! They have about 15-20 different iced tea flavors. About half of them were unsweetened and the others were sweetened! All drinks are self-served and they have small tasting cups so you can taste all of the teas! They also have snacks that you could get as well if you need a small pick me up! I had the Texas iced chai and it was so good!
When I went to visit my daughter in Oklahoma I saw this place and thought of that is cool. Sis not try it. Then on the night before Thanksgiving as we were leaving Chipotle I saw we hav one right here close to me. Well finally got around to trying it. They currently have a deal where you get 2 gallons for $10 and after tasting their teas we got the Wild Raspberry both sweet for my son and unsweetened for me. When you walk in it's a cute place they have a whole wall of tea to choose from. But then they also have a bunch of Yeti's to choose from or even Beaided cups. They sell some flavored tea bags that you Can take home and make your own tea as well. Then they also sell Cole Hauser's Free Rein both in drinks they made and grounds. They also sell some snacks as well. Over all pretty cool concept. Oh there is also a drive through which is how we tried our first teas
1000/10! Went in for the first time today with my hubs and in laws and it was amazing! There are so many options and hard to pick from but 3/4 of us made the Apple Pie tea (secret menu option) which was delish! The sweet versions were not super sweet and th unsweets were not bitter. The tea to water ratio also made for the perfect brew! Can't wait to go back to enjoy the cowboy and maybe the sweet mint! Also everyone working plus the manager was a peach! It's cool that they offer a variety of healing snacks too and some merch.
What an awesome concept!!! This place is soo cool. We decided to go inside and are so glad that we did. We were able to try multiple teas to figure out which one we wanted. I landed on drinking the watermelon one while my husband chose peach. Both were DELICIOUS. While we were there we picked up 2 things of tea bags to make at home. Everyone who worked there was very nice. They do a great job of keeping things very clean and stocked! We will be back! Frequently!!
I'm obsessed with HTeaO!!! I often drive from Avondale to grab a delicious drink. So far my favorite is the Texas Chai Tea. Going inside is a lot of fun to make yourself a drink.
We went for the grand opening, and have been back since. They have delicious customizable beverages and you can get HUGE sizes for a reasonable price. Obvi since it's crazy hot here, you wanna get big sizes. This is a place from Texas and I guess everything is bigger in Texas. I love the options as well as the free fruit mix ins bc I love fruit in my drinks. Service has been very fast and friendly both times I've gone. It also looks very clean. They have treats for sale, I highly recommend the brownies. Yasss. So chocolately and sweet. The Killer Brownie I bought was rich and not overly sweet but it was pretty sweet and filled with salted caramel. If you need balance, have it with a black medium roast coffee. There are a bunch of different sizes. If you get a foam cup it's like 40 cents more. The iced Marfa morning is delish. I'm going to add that to my rotation to treat myself. It was pretty sweet, but one great thing about this place is that I didn't find anything too sweet. It's a hazelnut and Irish cream flavored coffee with a little maple flavor. Omg. So good. We got a few teas, I'm partial to mixing unsweetened green tea with the sweetened peach tea. My mini liked the peach and watermelon sweetened teas. They also have an app so you can stack up points for rewards. Will I be back? Yasss, def.
Simple concept with great tea. I paid $3.63 for a small size peach-mango-mint iced tea. The small was bigger than expected too. This place is like a convenience store with over 20 different flavors of iced tea. They have tiny sample cups for trying flavors. Then you just grab whatever size cup you want and fill it with as many different flavors as you want. Green, black, peach, mango, chai, apple pie, mint, sweet tea, palmer, and more. They offer sweet and unsweet versions of each. Fruit toppings like orange & lemon slices are included. If you're looking to try unique flavor combos, they have a "secret menu" with suggestions. Other offerings include tea by the gallon as well as snacks and merch.
Perfect for lovers of iced tea and snacks! Came here around 8:30 am on a Monday and it was not busy at all. They have a drive through but I went inside. They have so many flavors to choose from and you can mix them! I mixed the strawberry passion with decaf unsweetened black tea. Next time I would add more unsweetened tea because it was a little too sweet for me but still really good! They have some really large cup size options which is a plus, but I got the small! Affordable as well. The snacks here looked amazing, I will get some next time. Staff was nice too. And not bad parking situation, I'd come back!
I had a great experience at HTeaO! I loved the large variety of teas with many unsweetened and sweetened options. I really appreciated that they have sample cups sitting out to encourage you to try the teas before filling your cup. I also really liked that they have a fruit bar to add to your drink. I was however expecting to see some syrups to add some extra flavor to your tea.
Finally got to try this place! It's still in its hype era so be prepared and inside is pretty small lol right when we walked in we were greeted by Rocio, she was so cute and helpful! Gave us a lot of info and explained how it works. Grab a cup, pick your flavor of tea, and pay, so easy! Other drinks you order at the register. We'll be back soon!
I was in the area so I tried them out. Really interesting concept. They had a lot of choices but thankfully have some sample cups. I tried a few and went with the Texas chai. It was solid and refreshing. The group on front of me was greeted and shown the ropes so I tagged along to learn. Location also has a drove thru for those who have been here before and know what they want. Outside the teas and lemonade I know they had some coffee and matcha drinks too (obviously not self service). Lots of snacks as well to choose from. It is worth a visit if you are close for sure . read more

I can't begin to tell you how disappointed I am with my experience tonight at HTeaO. We discovered HTeaO about six months ago, and I can't tell you how many times we've made the 25-minute drive out of our way just to get your teas. I work in healthcare on the graveyard shift, and before work I usually stop in for a large drink for myself and a gallon for my coworkers to share. It's something we genuinely look forward to, and it helps get us through those long 12-hour nights. Over the past several months, I've noticed that a few employees haven't always had the best customer service, but I've always overlooked it because I truly love the teas, the variety, and the flavors. To me, it was worth it. Tonight, though, was too much to ignore. I walked in at 9:48 p.m. According to Google, your posted hours are until 10:05 p.m. Monday through Thursday, so I felt like I had plenty of time and wasn't being that customer who walks in right before closing. When I opened the door, a young lady was mopping the floor, and it was absolutely soaked. I attached a photo, although it honestly doesn't capture just how wet it was. I remember thinking it seemed like a safety hazard, but I figured I'd just grab my order and leave. As I picked up a sample cup to try the new pineapple tea, someone yelled from the back, "Don't you know we're about to close?" The two young ladies at the front immediately started giggling. It was obvious the comment was directed at me, and I honestly couldn't believe it. I quickly ordered my usual drinks, including a gallon for my coworkers. The same employee who yelled from the back came out and slammed the gallon onto the counter. At that point, I couldn't stay quiet. I calmly told her how disappointed I was by the unnecessary comments and how rude the interaction had been. I also explained that if customers coming in at 9:48 is an issue, that's something management should address by posting a cutoff time for orders rather than making customers feel unwelcome. She had misunderstood my orderI had asked for a gallon that was half Texas Chai and half Coconut, but she brought me a half gallon instead. When I politely asked for the correct order, she grabbed it with obvious attitude, took it to the back, and was gone for quite a while before returning with the gallon. I'll be honest I left feeling uncomfortable. Maybe it was simply because of how the interaction unfolded, and maybe I'm letting my emotions get the best of me, but after the comments, the attitude, and the amount of time the drink was out of sight, when she took the gallon to the back for some reason, which I've never seen them do that before. I didn't feel comfortable giving the gallon to my coworkers.. I ended up questioning something I should have been excited to bring into work, and that's a terrible feeling to have as a customer. I completely understand what it's like to work customer service and to be trying to close for the night. If I had walked in one minute before closing and ordered a dozen customized drinks, I would completely understand the frustration. But I came in while the store was still open and ordered two items. As someone who has become a loyal customer and regularly drives 25 minutes out of my way to come here, this experience was incredibly disappointing. After reading through some previous reviews, I'm saddened to see that similar concerns about customer service have been mentioned before. I truly hope this reaches the right people because HTeaO has become one of my favorite places, and I'd hate to stop coming over an experience like this. A little customer service training and stronger management could make a huge difference. I know I'm just one customer, but this really was disheartening. read more
*Late post* I was greeted by the owner, JT, as soon as I walked in to the store. It was a weekday, so the store was quiet and we had a nice chat. It was my first experience in this tea paradise, so he walked me through the process. He even made me a limited time special refresher with hot honey in it! It was awesome! I wish I could stay a bit longer, but there were no tables and chairs for in the store. Also, HTeaO Corporate, if you are reading this, please consider opening up a location in Chandler. You will become extremely popular and well loved by the community! read more

Huge fan of HTeaO! After only one visit and having never been here before, I am hooked. I honestly thought it was just a drive thru for tra, coffee, and energy drinks but there is an inside and it's like a mini convenience store. I loved this aspect! You can buy tea of every kind you can think of, plus coffee or energy drinks, snacks, hats, shirts, bottles, coolers, stickers, and so much more. I love that their snacks are on the healthier side as well! You can also get tea by the gallon, and choose your variety, including mixes or percentages (for example, 75% black, 25% passionfruit, etc.). Everyone was SO nice! They have great customer service here. The coffee was excellent and I think they nailed it. I will definitely be returning! read more

This spot is new to me, but has quickly become a favorite. My go to is the Ryan Palmer with just a little bit of ice. I like how sampling is not just encouraged but expected--I appreciate making an informed decision. I also love the nugget ice that they offer. You can customize your own beverage or have the friendly team whip something up for you. Always a great experience here! read more

Tried a few drinks and the razzler refresher was my favorite! Lemonade based drink that was really refreshing! Razzler refresher Dirty cherry poppi Mango tango refresher Strawberry passion Service was great, the explained the rewards system. The drive thru was quick and easy. read more

What a great selection of ice teas. Appears to be a new conception here. You can taste test the wall of teas, sweet and unsweetened options. They serve chewable ice. It is a store that's also has some snacks. They also sell filtered water. According to the store attendant they will be opening more around the valley soon. read more

Whew BABYYYY The peach sweet tea with mint at HTeaO is straight pressure--and let me tell you, the drive-thru service is AMAZING . Quick, friendly, and on point every time. This ain't regular tea -- this is porch-sittin', sun-glowin', speakers-playin', beautiful summer afternoon in the city type energy . That peach comes through loud and juicy , the mint snaps back cool and clean , and together it hits your mouth like a block party in a cup . Every sip got your taste buds turnt, mindin' their business, vibin' heavy . Next thing you know the cup empty and you lookin' around like, "Nah... I need that again." Love this place!!!!! This is my stop 4-5 times a week. I love to bring gallons home as well as bags of the nugget ice so I can have this amazing iced tea whenever I want. Haven't tried anything I didn't like. read more

Def a great place to quench your thirst! Love the idea and the ability to sample and mix flavors and can't forget their Happy Hour Deals everyday between 2-4pm BOGO!! We love their nugget ice cubes. For a self serve ice-tea spot I would imagine the place would be sticky and messy but this place was very clean, organized and not a bit of stickiness !! Staff were friendly and was there to answer any of your questions. Love the fresh fruits ~cherries , limes, lemons and oranges that were avail free of charge to add in your drinks if you desired! BOGO or not prices are very reasonable !! Snacks and merch and TOGO gallons also avail!! read more

Finally had a chance to stop in and check out all the varieties of tea. Had the watermelon, coconut & mint unsweetened teas I mixed my own flavors. So fun. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Downloaded the app for free points. The store has a great vibe and so many tea flavors to choose from. Lots of snacks, coffee and merc to check out. Very refreshing! read more
