PLEASE DO NOT GO.
I was stunned with the good reviews online and the location was very closed to me, so I deceived to get an invisalign treatment. I am in my teenage years. They didn't explain the concept well enough to me and my parents but I was fine with that since I did my research online.
Now for the major problem is that they well never inform me that they had cancelled my appointment. This happened a few times very many different reasons. Sometimes on a random day lets say monday, they well deiced to cancel all appointments. Now thats reasonable, but they never told me a reason why they deiced to cancel or even called me to inform me this and reschedule. Because of the invisalign treatment, I made the appointment 2 MONTHS earlier. I showed up on monday and there was no one there and everything was closed. Confused, I called them. There was no one there to answer the call or get back to me, I left my information, etc. After 3 days later someone got back to me and this place was so booked that the new appointment would be in the next 2 weeks. This situation happened to me 10 times over the course of 1 year ( and I'm still not finished with my treatment). Another situation is when I show up on my appointment day and time, they would forget about my appointment since they would book their schedule so tight. They couldn't fit me in, so I had to reschedule another time.
Another problem is that they would make many mistakes with my teeth during the procedure. This includes from attachments ("glued" on my teeth) falling off, breaking, and going back in to fix it (major time waster). The more serious mistakes is when dr. Huang would drill my teeth and accidentally stab my gums, and would go to far in the tooth that it would cause very severe pain with the razor blade vibrating tool. Since he is working in my mouth it is very hard to inform him of the pain so I would usually raise my hands to let him know or show it in my painful expressions. SOMETIMES (very rarely) he would stop and ask me whats wrong, when I explained it to him he would always say its "suppose" to be like that even afterwards where my gum was swollen and bleeding.
The majority of the untrained nurses (3-4) sometimes would do the doctors work, when he is busy. I noticed some of them don't know what they are doing and when they work on me I usually have horrible outcomes, or mistakes are made. So I would usually go back again to fix it.
The people who work there are friendly but once you leave the room, they would gossip and make fun of you. I witness this a lot of times. One thing that annoyed me was when a white young man (doing nothing wrong) was saying it hurts, and the wife and desk workers where saying in chinese that he was a wimp, and would never get a wife if he contained that way. They were laughing right in front of him, and he didnt know what they were talking so he was just going along. Very rude and unprofessional.
As for the environment, I admit it is fairly clean. However when the nurses or dr. Huang are working on something they would usually touch things around, work on a patient then you without changing gloves(Gross right?).
This is a minor problem but they workers (nurses, Dr. Huang) would never explain what they are doing. You basically walk in whens its your turn, sit down and wait for the surprise they're going to do. Not a big problem for me, but if you have a tight schedule on that day you may be too early or late. And if your a parent you might be concerned with your child, and want to know the procdude (which they dont explain) they just say its going to be fine.
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME. I been with them for 1 year already doing the invisalign treatment, they keep telling me it is going to be done in 1 month, then 3 months, then 4months, and so on. The prices are very expensive and it isn't worth it with the results. I had a minor gap in the front teeth, and one tooth on the bottom row un "aligned"(straight and perfect looking) with the others. This all costed around $3,000 but since the treatment isn't working I have to add additional expensives just to continue to treatment so I paided $500++ extra. Now this price may seem "reasonable" but my teeth issues arnt as serve and is very easy to fix. So if your issues are more harder to fix expect more $$$.
As the other reviewer Susan W. wrote about Dr. Huang's personality I couldn't agree more. I didn't mind about his personality since its his job to be a dentist, but his work isn't the best.
Like other places, of course they have favoritism and if you offend someone they'll remember you. I would have written more about their problems but I would had gone over the character limits.
The whole process is just frustrating overall and not worth the outcome. I would had given him 0 stars. I advise you to go somewhere else. Please take this review in consideration, other reviewers may be uncredible since they may be his friends, or family read more
