I placed an online order on Christmas Day with a scheduled pickup time of 2:34 PM. I arrived at 2:36 PM, but the order was not ready. I repeatedly asked for an estimated wait time and was told they were unsure. I then asked to speak with the manager and requested a refund due to the delay. The manager stated he was "not allowed" to issue refunds, despite the receipt stating refunds are only restricted after 14 days -- this was the same day. I left and returned later, and the food still was not ready. While the order was eventually made hours later, the lack of communication, accountability, and customer service from management was disappointing. I understand holiday staffing challenges, but transparency and professionalism are still expected. This experience needs to be addressed by management. read more

First time trying HH with my son who is 10 and autistic. Collina was amazing, so gracious, friendly and personable; it felt like I'd known her forever. She took great care of us and was very flexible with my son and his dietary/sensory issues. The food was amazing (waffles and bacon, hot chocolate and lemonade) and my son "loved it!" We came out to Huddle House at 8:25 AM on Sunday. Parking is plentiful right out front. There were some parking spaces reserved for takeout orders only. That's nice so that you can get in and out during busy times of the day. You seat yourself so we set in a booth. Angela was our server. She was very attentive to us and kept our drinks topped off the entire time. We ordered the Southwestern bowl and the MVP breakfast. The MVP came with eggs, a pancake, grits, hash browns and a biscuit. Everything was delicious and came out quickly. The ambiance is chill and average noise levels. I think it should be disclosed that their sunny side up eggs are RAW! The service was wonderful until I was told "This is our sunny side up." With attitude after saying the eggs were raw. My biscuits were hard, like a rock. Shoved the fork through it and could hit it on the plate. I've never had a bad experience until tonight. Server was gonna get a great tip, until the attitude! :) Didn't even complain about the biscuits, just didn't eat them. read more

My family and I visited (3 adults and 1 kid). We were the only hispanics in the restaurant, apart from being ignored initially when we walked in. We sat down ordered our drinks and food. After receiving our food we were ignored for the rest out our visit. It was extremely disheartening trying to come up with an excuse to give my son as to why everyone around us (everyone else was white) was being attended to and we were not. I had to ask multiple times for refills on drinks and somehow we weren't given any. It was just an overall bad experience. If you want to see what's wrong with American employees then look no further that this place. Upon walking in I was greeted with "sit anywhere you can see that's clean." I sat down at a table that had been wiped but wasn't spotless. Then I became the spotlight because the girl covered with tattoos up through her neck and a bull ring in her nose says to me. Visited on a busy Sunday morning 12/05/2021. Great crew working together. Some frustration on their faces but they were professional and kind to each other and the customers. There is a huge sign on the window that says children eat free on Mondays and Tuesdays when an adult purchases a $6 meal. Tonight my sister ordered a ham and cheese omelet, hash browns with cheese and ham, and gravy and biscuit. Her son who is 10 ordered a waffle. When the waitress brought out the bills, my sister told the waitress the waffle had not been removed. The waitress took the bill and came back saying that my sisters meal was not high enough so it was only taking 30 cents off. The waitress had changed the waffle from $4.59 to a child's waffle for 4.29. Duh there's your 30 cents. My sister said your sign outside is false advertising and you need to take it down. The waitress said I can't change it in the system, it won't remove anymore. Sorry! My sister told her just ring it up and I'll call your corporate office tomorrow and let them know. This location has gone downhill over the years. Basically has kids running the place. They are more worried about taking care of their friends that come in than waiting on customers. Not very welcoming at all by any of the staff. They just look at you. On top of not being seated or brought a menu. We just sat ourselves and got the menu. Not to mention waiting for 5 minutes until one of the staff went to get a server after being looked at by few of the staff. Not only that but a big pet peeve of mine is getting my order taken by someone that smokes cigarettes. I received an excuse as to why it wasn't ready from the cook, who by the way was on her cell phone & had 0 customer service skills. I never once received an apology from either employee. Haven't been to a Huddle House in years, not because of a bad experience but because I have been living in Hawai'i. First week back in the mainland I get to go. I think our waitress's name was Yvonne. She was wonderful! Greeted us when we came in, got our order right on her end, corrected the chef's mistakes, took the time to talk with us...all in all it was wonderful. The food is typical truck stop type food with additions of milkshakes and Texas BBQ items but it is yummy none the less. And considering I am gluten free I was pleased to find out they will work with me, especially if they aren't busy. I was able to have eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, and hash browns and they had a clean portion of the grill for me. And when our waitress pointed out she only works Monday and Wednesday...I'm going back when she is there! read more

I LIKE this place and we've had some good breakfasts here but we've also had some meals that were not very good. Inconsistent is the word that best describes the food. It all seems to depend on who is cooking. Service can be a problem: When our breakfast arrived containing nary an item we had ordered our plump young waitress told us " oh, we don't have that breakfast anymore, there's a lot on the menu that's been discontinued" and walked away. Fortunately, it appears they've solved this problem by hiring more mature wait staff. If they can stabilize the cooking staff to where preparation is consistently good, they"ll have it made. read more
