I just wanted a good bagel with lox and I happened to be walking by. This place was clean, courteous and had great bagels with fresh lox and jalapeño schmear. My hunger was satisfied.

You can't go to NYC and not get a bagel, so off to Hudson's we went. Maybe it was me or maybe it was my choices... I got the Everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese, but it ended up being just a bit too much cream cheese for me. I probably should have gone with a sandwich, but I really wasn't that hungry. The bagel itself was good and the cream cheese was delicious, just very generous. The service was fast and friendly and we managed to score a tiny table in the cozy eatery before taking on the city for the day.

Tasty, tasty bagel sandwich! This place is like a lot of bagel shops int he city, small, limited searing, counter service and a line to order.....that said, this was an enjoyable meal. Sausage, eggs, cheese - the works! Really enjoyed the breakfast bagel sandwich here - real NY Style!

The bagels here are very soft, but I felt that mine was not toasted quite enough. I got an everything bagel with a garlic herb cream cheese which I thought was delicious. There are plenty of tables here and service moves pretty quickly.

We visited this bagel shop twice during our four day visit to New York City. The prices are reasonable. The bagels are extremely fresh and delicious. They have many many options for both spreads and cream cheese. They also had a few breakfast sandwiches, breakfast meal as well as a good hot and cold drink selection. English is not a first language here but seem fluent in Spanish. The staff is very friendly and courteous and they keep the tables and the restaurant very clean.

Stopped by to try their bagels and we were NOT disappointed. Staff was quick and handled multiple orders at once with ease. The bagel itself was so good, and surprisingly very filling. I only needed to eat half and I was full. Great bagel shop with a nice variety of options, and it was very clean/well maintained.

don't understand why the reviews of this place were so far from slay because I will tip my frickin hat to them - you know it's a special bagel spot when the whole wheat or multigrain bagels are the perfect texture....like when they actually taste like a normal bagel. the whole wheat bagel with egg and cheese was glorious, a simple order that was hefty!! pillowy bagels with a mound of eggs and that melted cheddar cheese - I decided to try the olive cream cheese and was fully expecting black olives, but was presently surprised with the green olives! it was the perfect amount of tang, I paired it with the turkey bacon, which is bold, but it kind of just made the whole thing taste like pizza. - I got it on a salt bagel which had massive chunks of salt and fulfilled my salt bomb cravings. definitely don't go for this if you just want a slightly salty option. - the bagel itself was so fluffy. the outer shell could've been a little bit crispier, but that's OK! my real complaint is that adding turkey bacon was three more dollars for maybe a thin slice and a half.

Decent Bagels. It's a good place if you need something quick. Service was good. Ambiance is very quick and casual.

I love this place. A bunch of bagel options and they hand mix the smears right in front of you! I got the Western omelette on a toasted garlic bagel and it was loaded. $10.00, but considering Manhattan prices and how much was in it, made it worth the price. A couple could easily share it, but I ate the whole thing, and I wasn't hungry for lunch later on. I'm just a basic coffee and milk person, so it was nice to see a non-starbuckisfied coffee menu. "Large, milk, no sugar" will work here. Next time, I'm back in NYC, I will be coming back here.

I was craving a bagel for breakfast, and this was one of the few bagel spots near my hotel. From my first impression, there was a good amount of seating indoors and outdoors. The space was also pretty clean. My order was taken quickly and I paid for it at the register. I appreciated the fast service both in line and while waiting for my order, the whole process took less than 10 minutes. I ordered an Everything Bagel with Scallion Cream Cheese and Smoked Salmon. It was delicious and I loved that they did not skimp on the cream cheese. However, I don't think this bagel was worth $17.99. I feel like there are much more reasonably priced bagels elsewhere, so I am not sure if I would return again.

Stopped here for a bagel a few weeks ago. Was not super impressed. The cream cheese was average and the bagels were not great compared to others in the area. Would go somewhere else

Not bad bagels. The blueberry cream cheese here is not sweet compared to other places and is a little sour. Same for the jalapeño cream cheese. I'd probably try for other places w better cream cheese.

Asiago bagel with cream cheese, coffee
    Disha F.

This is small bagel shop off ninth avenue that makes fresh bagels and has a variety of spreads. I went in on a late Sunday morning and got a toasted Asiago bagel with plain cream cheese and two of the variety cookies and a small coffee. It was pretty empty when k walked in but by the time I ordered, paid and got my food, every single seat was taken which was a bummer. I walked around for a bit until I found a park to enjoy my bagel but by then it was already cold, my coffee was cold and I couldn't enjoy the full flavors. The Asiago bagel didn't taste freshly made and the cheese was hard and difficult to chew. It was nice to have a sweet flavor of the cookies on the side but overall, it wasn't memorable at all.

FOOD: We ordered a bag of 3 bagels-- everything, poppy seed & salt. The bagels were cute, medium sized and served warm/hot. We chose the scallion cream cheese which came in a lil container. Apparently the bagels are not made in the traditional manner, but they were still delicious with great texture and taste. We also ordered the tea (ok) and strawberry lemonade (yum). We enjoyed our bagels on the little countertop area outside. OVERALL: Definitely recommend! A different bagel experience than some other places (as in, those places where you are served bagels topped with cream cheese and other things) but we enjoyed the simplicity of the bagels and controlling the amount of cream cheese.
