We chose this for our Easter experience with our family. This had to be the worst buffet we have ever had, Six of us paid about $200.00 The food is overpriced, none of us enjoyed the food. Not a lot of choices in Columbus for Easter and why we appreciate the effort We were not impressed with the quality of the food The ham had been sitting out forever And many of our dishes were very dry. There were no lids on the chafing dishes. $35 is not a lot though and while we appreciate the time in cooking, the quality of the food was not great and we ate 1/4 of each plate and we only had one plate each Finally, we gave our server eight $20 cash gratuity for the two of us and it wasn't until we got home that we realized there was an additional gratuity of 15 or $16 or something on our $70 bill so the waitress actually made $35 gratuity on a $70 bill if not more. When we were giving her the cash gratuity, it would've been good if she would've notified us we were also going to be charged on my card for the gratuity I think saying that we only ate 25% of the food we took from the buffet and watching how many people were leaving was a clear indication. The quality of the buffet was not great and I standby many items were being left out much too long and not being covered and protected, including the hot entrées and the casseroles. I visited this establishment on 4/18/26. I had been wanting to try the food here for over a year and finally got a chance to. Mind you I drove 2 1/2 hours as well as my accompany party to eat at this location. When walking in I was not immediately greeted and had to wait to be seated. The waiter had a trainee with him but when asking about menu items he was not 100% confident of explaining them, such as the mock tails. I ordered a waffle board and a side order of grits. The board came with 7 mini waffles, bacon, chicken tenders, Nutella, Whip cream, and some cup of yellow pellets (the waiter said that it was sprinkles. Well looking at other photos and videos they had sprinkles I don't know what the cup of yellow stuff was. You would have thought they would have brought syrup, I had to ask for it. The mocktail was horrible, especially when I asked the waiter did it have loose fruit. There was purred fruit in the drink. The experience was a 1 out of 10, food 2 out of 10, the grits were ok and the bacon was the best thing. Chicken tenders were room temp and dry, as well as the waffles. I was so disappointed in my experience. The bartenders and waitress were super friendly! The food was great! We got some charcuterie boards for the table but we couldn't pass up trying the shrimp and grits! Seating Times, Not (2) Hour wait...We're from " Out of town, LA. We visited this restaurant and was told about a (45) min wait. That was " Ok " because it was on a Sunday. First time here today and I got the waffle board which was $22. The waffles were burnt with 0 flavor, blue berries were old and warm. Chicken was decent, and bacon was burnt. Went for the Thanksgiving Buffet today. Very disappointed to say the least! Food was NOT good. Meat was dry and looked more like lunch meat turkey and ham. Chicken was very dry. All the sides were either way too over seasoned (sweet potato casserole) or mushy and cold. Mac and cheese and the mashed potatoes were cold and not good. No gravy. Only good thing was the sweet tea, packaged dinner rolls and the potato salad. Desserts were grocery store bought pies and cheesecakes. Not even a pumpkin or apple pie! Staff was friendly but only came over to bring our drinks. Not once came to clear plates off the table or asked if we needed anything. Just wondered around the floor staring at everyone. But they tipped themselves 20% They had us in the event space next store that had slippery floors and flimsy chairs. No decorations (except a small area in the corner with a plastic hanging backdrop. Did not feel very holiday like. Bottom line food was WAY OVERPRICED and I would never eat there again. I could have made a phenomenal dinner at home for my whole family for the price we paid. Overall I would rate this 3/5 stars. The staff was very friendly and our server Hailey was very sweet and gave great service. The atmosphere was nice and this place has potential. They were playing great music but it was a little low. The food was ok but definitely not worth the prices. My red velvet waffle just tasted like chocolate. I feel like some cream cheese icing would make it taste better. The potatoes had no flavor and were cold (I got them replaced with the bacon but that was burnt and thin) and the eggs had a good flavor but were cold. My friends had a chocolate chip waffle (ok) and salmon & grits (VERY small piece of salmon and ok tasting grits not worth $25). Overall the best thing for me was the mimosa flight and other drinks. Still wishing for a rating system with half stars. I would probably do a 3.5 stars for Hudson's. The food was good and everyone in the party enjoyed their choices. It just wasn't awe inspiring. The service here is outstanding. That is why I opted up to a 4 star. To be fair, im not a chicken and waffles guy. But, the savory waffle offerings got me curious. I have to say, it was very enjoyable. The Buffalo strips were some of the best I've had. Not hot, but they had great flavor. The waffle was good as well, but could have used a little more of the bacon jam on it. My dad ordered a breakfast burrito and I did get a taste. It was very good as well. Omg, everything was amazing. First time trying and it didn't disappoint. We showed up for brunch and the place was packed but we were seated very quickly. Our server was very attentive and suggestive about everything on the menu. The food was A1 and decent portions. They do have outdoor seating but the heat and humidity isn't a hood mix with liquor. They're Margarita tower was quite delicious and strong. A blood Mary is a Bloody Mary‍ I added the sausage gravy to my frittata, it was bit salty but good. The pacosBomb. A total miss. I have seen great things on Hudson's for brunch. I was excited to try it and planned a small get together for brunch on Sunday here. Our wait was 45 minutes when we checked in and it ended up being more like an hour. I will say the place was crowded and had many people waiting. For brunch I had the breakfast burrito and cranberry mimosa. The total was $38. Crazy. The breakfast burrito says it comes with a homemade salsa. There was no salsa. When I asked she said it was like a homemade pico. I never saw one tomato in my burrito. The bacon was also completely raw in my burrito. The cheese was not even melted. The side potatoes were burnt and over seasoned. Not good. The wait times for our waitress to take drink orders, food orders, bring bills, and then come take the bills back for payment was truly ridiculous. We arrived at 12:35pm today. After our wait and meal we didn't leave until almost 4. In fact they turned the open sign off behind us before we even had our food. Absolutely crazy. Not worth the $38 bill. If I could give zero stars I would, we waited an hour and half for a table that had been empty the whole time we waited. THEN I get a champagne glass that has lipstick, granted i get it sometimes that happens but i wiped off the glass with my finger and the lipstick was on my finger so much i could tell it was a pink lipstick. Seen they had a special chicken sandwich and my husband likes grits so figured why not try it upon entering the lobby itself isn't the high standard that you would think when you see the online posting from the website about the specials and the fancy menu options. So the doesn't match the price or the design of food.. It was a five dollar per Mosa special granted we just ordered eight mimosas to make a flight. They didn't honor the five dollar mimosa which seems a little rude. we got every kind of plus the one on the second just another pineapple mimosa. Says they all taste exactly what they were supposed to and they had the right proportions of juice per alcohol. Highly recommend the prickly pair in the orange. Those were the best. The white grapefruit tasted exactly like a white grapefruit, but it wasn't for our pallet. My husband ordered the grits with shrimp and salmon while the grits were the perfect creamy. There wasn't a crazy amount of flavor that you would expect per the description. The salmon was about half the size of the prepackaged, frozen salmon you can get at Walmart. It was extremely tiny but cooked correctly the shrimp again the same boat. It was like little shredded chunks of shrimp with no flavor but again cooked well the chicken sandwich I ordered the mac & cheese really didn't need to be on it. I can understand why it was on it, but the mac & cheese was just bland. I tried a couple pieces of the mac & cheese itself and it literally had no flavor jam with the waffle flavor and the Nashville hot tenders were supreme and a decent size. Tots with the tots amazing highly recommend they adding more tots for the price m. Our server was decent however we ran out of water and got refills. I had the Pacos which were good but the ratio of egg vs other toppings was off, it was just too much egg and most of it ended up falling out of the pancake "shell" anyway. Our server was great and took care of everything we needed. Near the end of our visit, as we were done with our food but not our drinks, a hostess came up to our table and told us to "take our time but there's another party - a bridal party - waiting to be seated" as if them being a bridal party was supposed to be relevant to us in some way. ??? Please do not go to this restaurant. After reading several people complaining about fraudulent use of their credit/debit card, I realized the same thing happened to me. Someone stole $700 out of my account the day after eating at Hudson's back in May of 2022. At the time, I was not sure how my information was stolen. Today, I went back to check the dates and realized the fraudulent purchases were made the day after my card was used at this restaurant. Never again!!! I will warn all who will listen because the management's response to this in the reviews is less than impressive. This restaurant is blaming others instead of investigating the issue. It looks like it has happened too many times to point fingers at others. It is not a coincidence that I had fraudulent charges the day after eating there and it has happened to several others. I will spend money at places that care enough to make sure credit card/debit information is secure. I reported what happened to my bank in May. I am going to update them on this new information. At least they will know about this when it happens to others since the restaurant is not doing anything to try and prevent it happening in the future. Shame on you, Hudson's!!! read more

Moving from a metropolitan city to a small town and then here...this place helped satisfy that missing "atmosphere". I have been here with friends so many times and it was great however I think there is new management. I ordered the breakfast burrito off the brunch menu and it arrived over toasted. The tortilla was so crunch and burned in places. I talked to the manager and she said the policy was not to refund or replace with something else. All she could do was ask the kitchen to try and remake it better. By that point in time, I was like no, that alone was over 15-20 minutes to be able to talk to her. Basically I paid 19.00 for a meal that I couldn't eat and the only food I was able to eat was hashbrowns and they were overcooked also. Worst policies and customer service. This is my third time visiting, and this time since the wait was a little lengthy, I decided to sit at the bar. Upon sitting, my waitress brought me a water with lemon. Gave me a few minutes to look over the menu, took my order, and within 20 minutes my food was brought out. Shocked was an understatement. You'd think the place wasn't busy. The food? 10/10. The combination of pimento cheese with buttermilk fried tenders *chefs kiss* and don't get me started on the biscuit. As soon as you bite into it, the hint of garlic hits your tongue. The portions were so small. $23 for a quarter cup of rice and gumbo juice with 2 small shrimp and a remnant of crab something . The $26 beef short rib was even smaller . Tried Hudson's At Main Street for Brunch this morning. We arrived just about 11, beating the crowd that showed up about noon. There is a nice selection of breakfast treats with their own spin on them, plus flights of mimosas of margaritas. My companion had chocolate chip waffles with blueberries (and chocolate syrup, if you dared) with coffee. I had "pacos": pancakes with eggs, sausage and crumbled bacon, along with a blood orange mimosa. Both meals were fun and tasty, although the pacos are *not* finger food. They come with maple syrup on top already. Use your fork. The coffee is delicious, roasted by a local company, and offered with real cream and a variety of sweeteners available. My cocktail made me wish it was Saturday, and I didn't have to drive home. I left a bit in the glass, not because it wasn't great. Just being responsible. First, I want to say AMAZING!!! This is not the burger joint that use to be there and it has a new owner. They kept the name because of a lifelong friendship with previous owner. It is more like a fine dining experience. There is alot of IPA's and top shelf whiskey to choose from. It is located next to the sound factory and behind country's BBQ. We had a great first experience and will be coming back for the whiskey nights they have planned coming up soon, and I hear the brunches are amazing! I put pictures of what we ordered and the menus.
