For the second time I arrived with my client for the assigned appointment and the office is closed. The first time the receptionist told us the hygienist and dentist were not coming in. The second time, my client called the day before to confirm the appointment (done by an auto attendant) When we showed up the office was locked. We called to speak with someone and the message said they are closed on Tuesdays. After leaving a message I received a text stating the message was received and the text said the office was open on Tuesdays. Extremely unprofessional and very difficult to deal with. If I could give less than one star I would read more

I had the fastest cleaning of my life the first time I went there. It was maybe 15 minutes. I guess it was adequate, but it didn't feel as thorough as I'd experienced elsewhere in the past. This was after waiting for 2 other people to go ahead of me. Arriving early seemed like a mistake. They assured me they usually run on time when I confirmed my latest appointment. I checked because I need to take time off from work to make the appointment and I can't just continue to delay indefinitely waiting for them to be ready. Ok, I thought maybe my previous experience was the outlier and they were just slow that day. Nope. I arrived and was told my wait would be an hour for what I assumed was another fast cleaning. I rescheduled on the spot, but found a new dentist in the meantime. Enough with these people not respecting the patients' time. There are plenty of other offices that run on time and have the decency to apologize for being behind and make it a point to try not to do that regularly. Note that discussing these issues with my insurance company led to them approving me to go to a different dentist that was otherwise not included in my plan coverage. read more

Worst dental practice I've ever had. Took months to get first checkup and cleaning. Checkup was old fashioned bite wings and a one minute look. Said cleaning appt was six months away instead of that day. Went for cleaning. Hygienist spent ten minutes. Made a new cleaning appointment for six months. Got call today that appointment cancelled. Their hygienist only works one day a month now. Dentist didn't want to remove cement and said it was hygenist job. Hygienist said it was her job. Just a joke. read more

First time being here. "New management in 2022" apparently but honestly worst customer service when it comes to caring. "Cam" was supposed to call me to let me know the dentist had an emergency and left the office. Kevin, the guy at the desk said "I'm gonna fight him". Seems like this isn't the first time. I waited months for this appointment. I have kids and work nights. My husband left work early and i took off so i could GO. When i brought up that ive seen the reviews and they're quite awful, that i was sadden by this whole ordeal- not one sorry was uttered. Just handed me a card and "we can reschedule". "Here's my email to contact me about an appt." Services weren't experienced but after the social face value of the store, and the messy desk and messy files of Patients thrown on the floor next to the desk i really don't think that this is the place you want to be 'taken care of'. Seems more like a place you'll be taken out. If you don't care about the patients don't own the practice. It's crazy! Also they barely look like an actual office. i give this place a zero for stars!!!!!!!! i made my dentist appointment over 6 months ago, never got a single phone call or any paperwork in the mail regarding my first appointment with them. how unprofessional!! i called all day yesterday and there was no answer and it kept hanging the line up.... i call today and they have no idea why im calling or who i am or what i needed done.!!!!! i highly do not recommend hudson valley plaza! they are a joke! also i got hung up on when i was explaining what i was going to be seen for being i had an appointment today! read more

My son recently changed insurance and had not yet established himself at a dental office. I called this business on 2/21/25 when he had come home in excruciating pain. They were able to get him in for an emergency appointment on 2/25/25. He got there and was told that the doctor wouldn't be able to see him and rescheduled for the following afternoon. The following morning they called to say they were "too busy" and they had to reschedule him again, this time for the following Monday, 3/3/25. That morning they called again and had to reschedule for the following day because there was painting done over the weekend and the building was full of fumes. The following morning they called again because the fumes were still present. This time they rescheduled for 3/12/25. Needless to say, I cancelled and called elsewhere. They expected my son to wait almost 3 weeks while in excruciating pain. Absolutely shameful. You can get an appointment there, but it will never actually happen. Office is dirty, torn dental chairs, old equipment - I haven't seen a small spit sink in years. The dentist I had 3 times, never introduced herself to me and until this day I don't know her name. This dentist was scatter brained and never had the correct patient file nor did she review my file before entering the treatment room. The final straw for this place was when she was reviewing an xray of my tooth and she didn't realize she had the xray upside down- the dental hygienist had to fill it around. I was so happy when the dentist said I'd have to see an oral surgeon..I wavy about to let her touch me. Almost firgot..she bonded a front chipped tooth and didn't smooth it out so it was digging into my lip..within a week the entire bonded portion fell off, so I'll be seeing another dentist. I just moved to New York and this is the closest dental place that takes my insurance which is wild because I had to drive over an hour to get there. I made the intake appointment like normal and I had to wait 6 months to get in but that seemed normal when I was calling around so I accepted it. The day I came for my appointment the office was closed and a sign on the door said that it was due to Ramadan. I wasn't notified so I was confused and called the office number. I was transferred to their emergency responders and when I asked what was happening what should I do I have an appointment today, the responder said i can't help you and I know nothing. This cycle repeated 4 times and I was just so confused. I drove up the block to see if there was maybe another dental office I was missing but no. So I came back and poked my head in the window one more time and there happened to be a guy at the desk. He let me in I told the story he was confused. He went to look up my appointment to see why I was not notified and he said that all of my information was entered into the system so he could tell someone spoke with me but my appointment was never saved. Thankfully he believed me that I had an appointment and rescheduled my appointment, cool cool I figured I would give it second chance and see how it went because I waited so long for the appointment. The next week I was confused to why I had never received a confirmation email or reminder email from them about my appointment or an email to fill out paperwork ahead of time, so I called the day before to confirm my appointment. The same man I made the appointment with in person answered the phone and then told me my appointment time was a different time than he and I made together in person. In person I have a card that lists 2:30 and over the phone he said that it was at 2:15, a small mistake but noteworthy. I arrived to my appointment and waited over an hour for my appointment. The tech Ty was very sweet and did a great job. The dentist I experienced dismissed my request for an orthodontist referral and attempted to talk me out of wanting to correct my smile but agreed it could help my issue. I was told by a previous dentist in the state I moved from I needed two cavities filled and this dentist said I was fine. I brought up the issue of my receding gum lines turning dark and getting worse and the dentist was adamant it was my piercing and continually dismissed that I insisted does not touch my teeth or gums at all which is why I got it the way I did and the dentist would not provide a solution for gum regeneration until my gums are rotted as she explained to me. The dentist refused to refer me to an orthodontist because she didn't recommend it. I think the patients needs, wants and concerns should be prioritized and respected. I felt continuously dismissed by that dentist and I do not recommend going to that office. Multiple items in the office was broken (like the light and water nozzle to the sink) and there was trash on the ground in multiple rooms. Just save your time and go somewhere else. read more

The dental care is top notch. Dr. Reiss is a very talented doctor who took better care of my teeth than any other dentist I have been to. The 4 stars is because they don't have a regular hygenist and need to reschedule often. The staff is kind and friendly and I have not had a bad interaction with anyone who works there. read more

Here I Sit at Hudson Valley Plaza Dental again in my car waiting for my 11 o'clock appointment this is not the first time my appointment was at 11 they ask you to be here 15 minutes early so they can take your temperature and ask you for an out of town so that they can Send you to your car To wait for your appointment. I've been here now for 2.5 hours. the last time I was here I sat in my car for two and a half hours waiting for my appointment this is because they schedule way too many people to come at the same time a day this is ridiculous! read more

I agree with Jane not a very good dentist he did my upper and lower teeth that came out like horse teeth I have a small mouth so if I'm writing this I still can't wear them they are to big in my mouth and I can't talk or eat with them .he told me he adjust them but never really did.I don't recommend this dentist to anyone read more

This dentist is abusive, almost cruel. I left my last appointment in tears after waiting 2-1/2 hours to be seen, only to be told he couldn't work on my teeth. He wouldn't explain why, only that I apparently was at fault for having teeth. He was in the room with me for maybe 2 minutes and didn't even look at my teeth. In a prior visit, he said one tooth needed to come out, and then it took him a half hour to get it out, because it was so secure. Now I am missing a tooth that is visible when I smile and he refuses to fix it. He talks gibberish very fast, as if you have been to dental school, gets offended if you ask any question, throws up his arms and storms out of the room. NEVER EVER go near this dentist. He calls himself Dr. Jamie, I assume so you won't know his last name so you can't sue him. I know I'm trying to figure out a way to do it for the way he disfigured my smile. There aren't enough bad things to say about this vicious dentist. He even looks like a wolf! read more

Can I give it a zero? First visit was good, two follow up visits for a filling and then an adjustment a month later because the work wasn't flesh with tooth were some of the worst customer service experiences I have ever dealt with. Waited roughly 90 minutes to get the filling the first day and 2 hours for the adjustment, no expectations set on wait time. If the receptionist stated : "hey someone is out and as a result we are short handed and it might take an hour or two for us to get to you would you like to wait or we can reschedule for another day," it would go a long way towards setting expectations. When you pair this with misleading advertisement of hours it's just a terrible customer experience, and that's without factoring in poorly done filling that needed an adjustment to make it flesh with the tooth. read more

This place is horrible. The dentist was rushed both times I went in, and refused to speak to me as an adult or explain any type of plan for my teeth. As this was the first time I'd been to a dentist in over a decade, it really put me off. When I went back to get cavities filled, I had to wait over 2 hours to be seen, again-no one told me what was happening, just stuck me in a room and I waited. The actual filling of my teeth was sloppy and I can still feel the over flow which makes it hard to eat at times. Also, he didn't wear any protective eyewear when drilling my teeth. Nearly lost my lunch watching spit etc fly out of my mouth and into his eyes. The receptionist clearly doesn't know what she is doing and is rude on top of that.
