Poor Quality . Within a month of paving, I had weeds growing through the pavement, and the sides of the driveway were cracking. Called, and they came out and put something down to kill the weeds and said to call them next spring. I also have water pooling, which will make the pavement crack 10 times faster than it ever should. So disappointing , need your driveway paved go with another company even if it cost a little more. read more

I had my driveway redone last August...I had a very difficult time with this company....the siding on my house under the car port was really messed up and their solution to fixing it was not great.... finally got the sealer put on it after verbalizing I was going to take legal action...Now it looks like there are spots where the new poured asphalt is wearing away and of course the 2-year guarantee I was given I am told does not cover this issue...someone was to come look at the situation and after numerous calls, text and FB messages that has not happened. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB as I have asked them to make it right but had a guy out today and he said there is no base under it so it will it will need to be ripped up. I had some damage done to my driveway by a delivery service so I contacted several paving companies for estimates and descriptions of the solution. All of the estimates were comparable but Huey's gave me much more. Not only did they fix the wholes but finished the top portion of my driveway. i was so pleased with the finished repair, I paid a little extra to get the rest of my driveway sealed and that too is very nice. read more

I see Huey's responded 3 years later with some BS comment about them being incompetent and doing lousy work because they were limited by our contract. What a bunch of crap. Did I have a contract with them to do sh*t work?! And when I called to ask him to come back and fix his crap work Huey yelled at me and said it was not the norm to put in a drain pipe at the end of the driveway. Other pavers said it is the norm and common sense. Also, grass was growing up through the pavement within a few days. Absolute crap work. Don't hire Huey's. read more

Our 20 year old drive way needed help. Contacted 3 pavers for bids. Mr. Stanley gave us the best price. Work done well. He added some width to our parking plat so that we could back up without tearing up the grass. He also fixed the low area at the end of our driveway. Happy about that. BUT, his guys used our garden hose to fill some equipment and didn't turn it off. The hose is in our large mint bed and so we didn't realize it was on until 3 days later when my husband discovered it and turned it off. The water company is billing us for 24,000 gallons of water. Our usual bill is for 4,000 gallons per month. WOW! A water bill over $700. There went our bargain. Happy with the paving--NOT with the water bill. read more

Please use extreme caution when considering using Huey's Paving. My husband and I asked for for an estimate from this company to extend and repair some sunken spots in our current driveway. Huey promptly provided us an estimate. He did not complete the job correctly as stated and did not convey to his employees the work that was to be done. His communication to us as customers was nonexistent .His work is subpar at best and his professionalism is terrible. The cops had to be called to our residence to handle a dispute between us. The owner threaten to beat up my husband and tear up the work he completed. The owner had no desire to speak to us professionally regarding our concerns to his work and experience. read more

Saw Huey doing a number of driveways in our neighborhood so gave him a call. He came by, gave us an estimate and said he could do it the next day. Moved his machines from just completed job up the street and did a bit of prep and came next day to do the work. He did our 3500+- sqft drive and parking area in about 6 hours. It looks great and was done to my total satisfaction. One year warranty in writing that I do not anticipate needing. We will have him back when it warms up a bit more to seal and fix cracks in our existing "front driveway." Will provide review after that is completed too. Huey will be our go to "paving guy" from now on. Of course, if job doesn't hold up and opinion changes..I'll post that too!!!! read more

This company made my 2 year old driveway look BRAND NEW at a reasonable price! The Sherwin Williams product sealed the asphalt and seems to have stopped the surface crumbling near my garage. I never used rock salt in the winter or anything . It is a result of the original paving contractor (Jeter Paving of Hagerstown, MD) not properly finishing it. My driveway should be good for another 2-3 years. read more

We hired them to pave our very long driveway. A neighbor had referred them to us after paving theirs about a year ago. Huey worked hard at making sure our driveway was done to our specs. Mentioned at one time they were using a mix that came from a place in Charles Town area. Quality was not good so switched to a company in Martinsburg. Very pleased with the work. read more
