I contacted Buckeye Plumbing to check on a potential issue with my septic system. I received a…read moreproposal for the following work: "Excavate 2nd septic tank outlet, Camera & Troubleshoot issue, Quote further work if necessary" They were here for about 20 minutes, only to quickly say, "We are doing nothing, you need to contact the county, that'll be $1000" 20 minutes for $1000 bucks with no troubleshooting and no solutions. What a scam. There was no compromise from them on the price, and literally no recommendations or solutions. The "technician" was also rude. At one point he laughed at my plunge pool, and suggested off the record I can try dumping lye in the system. After researching this, i found this could potentially destroy your system (I figure this is why it was stated "off the record") This should not have cost $1000. I thought Buckeye Plumbing was an honest company, but I was wrong and paid the price for it. On top of everything, it took nearly 2 weeks of follow up calls to them to give me an appointment. That should have been a sign this company does not care. I feel we were severely taken advantage of, and the transaction was of zero value. I will never use them again, and if you use them, I hope you don't get swindled like I was.
