Since then we have been hand washing dishes and when I poured out the water into the side of the sink with the garbage disposal, and tried to run the disposal, the water came back up in the other side of the sink. After a $15K+ plumbing job at my elderly mother's home, they left a two-foot-high mound of dirt in the front yard that looks like a grave. When I first called, I was told "it will settle" and that they "didn't add dirt," so everything would be fine. Five months later, the pile is still there, completely unchanged. When I followed up, I spoke with a man claiming to be the owner, who refused to give his name. He told me the reason for the dirt pile was that we had received a "landscaping discount" and that if I wanted the yard fixed, I should pay a landscaper myself. For the record, the actual reason we received a discount was because they initially misdiagnosed the source of the flooding in our basement. We were told their solution would fix the problem. When it flooded again shortly after, they admitted it was due to a different issue. That is why we were given a partial discount, not because we declined landscaping services. I explained that leaving a huge mound of dirt in someone's front yard is not a landscaping issue. It is unfinished work. I even asked if I waited a full year and the dirt still hadn't settled, would they fix it then. He said no, they still wouldn't do anything. When I asked to record the call to confirm I was understanding him correctly, he hung up on me. Leaving the yard in this condition, with no attempt to do the bare minimum cleanup, is completely unacceptable. For a $15K+ job, this level of disregard for the final result is incredibly unprofessional. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Unless you are okay with spending thousands of dollars and being left with a mess in your yard and no accountability afterward.

Also got into a verbal argument with maintenance staff of the building 2nd - VERY unprofessional, created a huge mess, didn't use a floor covering, entire shower has this disgusting chemical residue all over and they completely tore out most of the ceiling, which didn't need to be torn out. Now I need another contractor to come out and replace plaster on ceiling. 3rd - no heads up when they were coming by, no status updates.
