What a ridiculous excuse of a shop. It's so sad that I have to post this about a local Armenian owned shop but I'm so disgusted by the service of this place. My mom and I bought a gift for my niece and it unfortunately was a bit too small for her. We came back to return it or to at least exchange it and the workers were so extremely nasty and rude about the entire process. One worker claimed we only have 10 days to return items, and another claimed it was 14 days. We checked the receipt and indeed it was 14 days, but both my mom AND I remember asking the worker when purchasing how long the exchange policy was and this girl said we have ONE year. So obviously, my mom and I are both going to assume that's the case, but clearly none of the workers there have any idea about their exchange policy and just spit out random numbers and policies. I'm not stupid to not respect the policy written on the receipt-- I get that, but these workers are clearly a bit deficient in their policies and are so disgustingly ignorant. They were being extremely rude to my mom and my sister in law and I won't tolerate that. Save your money and time and go buy clothes from any department store other than this. Baby's grow at a quick rate and a 14 day exchange policy is so insanely ridiculous to me. And in regards to the employees, I find it very sad that these people can treat people with such terrible service. It really says a lot about the business. There are a thousand other places with the same clothing with employees that actually have respect for their customers and don't have nasty attitudes. I feel so sorry writing this review but it is well-deserved for this business. read more

One stop shop with the most amazing service ! You will not only fall In love with the store but the women who own and run the store are even more amazing . I discovered this store when I was pregnant with my son . I went in with my husband and instantly clicked with the girls bought so many unique things. Things that you just can't get at any other store and I'm all about women bosses so I'd much rather support a small women own business then shop at any big retailers ! My most recent purchase was a gift box for one of my friends for her baby shower I attached the picture ! If you haven't visited hug bug or contemplating to do so ! Disappointed in their super strict return/exchange policy especially during a pandemic where everywhere else is making accommodations. If you have an exchange to make without a gift receipt, the only accommodation is to exchange for an identical item in a different size. Unfortunately, they only have 2 sizes per item so that is almost impossible. I did ask them to retrieve the purchaser's account as the gift was given to me within the exchange period of 14 days. I was informed that although the transaction can be retrieved, the price will not be available which makes no sense since they document one's purchases for rewards points; therefore, price should have been in the system. Seemed like she had her mind set up to not allow the exchange to occur. Will not be returning to this store and/or buying gifts from here bc I do not want anyone else to get stuck w an item. read more

We love this store! We just picked up our gear for our baby boy that is on his way and we can't wait to put everything together. We first came into hugbug about 3 months ago to scoop out the type of items they have and the girl that was helping us was more than happy to show us the different strollers and car seat along with everything else our boy is going to need. We didn't purchase at the time but went back a few weeks ago and placed our order for our stroller, car seat, high chair etc. Thank you to the girls for helping us out... we would be lost without you guys. This is an updated review of my most recent experience at Hugbug. I bought my son a warmer outfit from here for the cooler months and was so much more pleased this time. The quality was much more sturdy and lasted all thru the winter months. As for the owner who replied to my previous review: it DOES matter to me if a business is owned by an Armenian because I try to support my people and small businesses in general. I would rather give you my hard earned money and see you succeed than someone else because I know how hard working we are. I would hope you would understand that. Am I the only one who thinks like this? Seems like you don't. What a shame. And true to my word I came back shopped at your store again and was pleased and will be back. And also I didn't say the clothes were literally from a sweat shop I said the quality was comparable. And I'm not one to return clothes after they've been worn and washed. But since you're kind enough to to suggest that can be done next time I run into a similar problem I will be sure to bring the clothes back. I was pretty frustrated with my experience here. We had driven out the day before to find the store had unexpectedly closed. I drove all the way back out the following because I was interested in purchasing a SilverCross stroller that they had available to see in person. Upon arriving we were asked if we had an appointment to "handle baby gear." The girl working was pregnant (me too...i'm sure most are who are shopping strollers) and she wasn't able to "handle" the stroller. I told her no problem - I was happy to look at it myself, but she explained I wouldn't be allowed to look at it as I could break it. Then she told us it was on back order anyways and who knew when I would ever be able to get it even if I wanted to. So basically...it's too heavy to handle safely, it's complicated and easy to damage, and probably shouldn't buy it because it's not in stock. There wasn't anyone even in the store while we were there...it seems after explaining my situation she could have at least talked me through folding it if she were uncomfortable touching it. She did offer to book me an appointment to come back out another time, but at that point I wasn't interested in driving out a 3rd time. It is on back order, but I went home and ordered it online after watching a few youtube reviews. It's sad that the only place that has these in stock isn't very interested in being helpful to people who are interested in purchasing. It would have been nice to see how it folds and handles in person. read more

We've had an amazing experience at Hugbug! A friend of mine told us to go there and we're glad we did. They have the coolest stuff. We purchased pretty much everything we needed for our baby. Stroller, high chair, car seat , dock a tot and so much more. The girls were so happy to help us with all our questions and made the entire experience very easy. We love to support small businesses and we made the right decision going to them. We had a small issue with one of the tires on our stroller and they took care of it for us in a second vs. us going through warranty. That showed us that they really do care about their customers and that we spent our money at the right place. A few days after their grand opening, I stopped by just to see what this new baby's & children's boutique was all about. I have to say, I was very impressed. I'm pregnant with my first baby and had been looking around just to get a feel of what's available in different baby shops & honestly hadn't liked anything really until I stopped at Hugbug. The clothing and baby products are top of the line, beautiful and trendy. I'm having a boy and told myself I wouldn't buy anything until a few months from now. But after going to this shop, I ended up with a bench of clothes for my baby that I had been looking for but couldn't find anywhere else. Everything I wanted was there and I couldn't walk out without them. The girl's clothes are just as amazing, if not better than the boys. I've visited this place few days ago and most probably i would be the last time. We've received a gift for my 1-year old baby boy that turned out to be little small, then we decided to stop by at store to check our options. Despite the fact that they didn't have the right size we requested for refund! But the cashier mentioned the return policy is only 14 days for only exchange or gift card. Also the gift cards would be expired in 6 months! Why?! My observation from the first visit are: they only have limited selection of goods, their prices are mostly higher than major department stores, as I checked few it were double or triple. Their return policy is ridiculously wired. I would consider buying my baby goods from major department stores with Way better customer service, in any possible circumstance, and Way better and wider various of selection. As my wife was picking items to be purchased, I was keeping my daughter entertained by walking around the store. This store's return policy is unfair and absurd. Their 14-day return/exchange policy is for the customer who purchased the items. I received duplicate gifts from this store and became stuck with them because I was gifted the items past the 2 weeks of purchase. Granted, the purchase date was little over a month ago and was still recent! I was refused store credit even with a gift receipt. What's the point of providing a gift receipt if you're not going to honor it for the recipient of the gift? I can control them gifting me within 14 days as much as you can! (this was their reasoning for declining store credit) They're clearing trying to discourage returns and don't care about service. I was planning to purchase more items since I did like all the gifts my baby received however will not be supporting this shop further! I didn't bother arguing with the two ladies who attempted to explain their dumb policy since their demeanors were both evident from the start. There are two girls that run the store front and they both have the worst attitude I have yet to come across from workers at a childrens boutique. With my first child, I ordered a custom bedding from Hugbug via Etsy and it was fabulously done with stunning attention to detail. They were great to work with and provided amazing customer service as I changed my mind numerous times on the design. Now with my second child, I had the opportunity to visit Hugbug Shop in Glendale and I must say I was blown away! They have a variety of strollers, high chairs, baby bottles, clothing etc. This is truly a one stop shop for all baby necessities. I was able to purchase a Mima Stroller (yes they carry Mima!), Lifefactory bottles and the Docatot. I even ordered a custom blanket for my baby. I am so excited this place opened near my home.
