As a Chinese, UNIQLO is the place I can easily find the dressings that can fit my body shape, it's just like my convenient shop for clothing. I like UNIQLO, go there at least once per season. I get my underwear, socks, and T-shirts there. The socks are strongly recommended, the Colorful 50 has 50 colors you can select, 4 pairs for $12.90 (used be only $10). Recently, maybe not that recent, it looks like all UNIQLO upgraded their purchasing system. Now you can check out by yourself. The system is very advanced, you don't have to scan the items one by one, you just put all the things you select into the draw and the system will automatically give you the list. I had several items to exchange as they were a gift and I needed different sizes. I told them at check out that I had to exchange some things. They said that any returns would have to be issued as store credit. I said that was fine bc I wanted to exchange the items I got as a gift so however they had to process that request I was fine with. They took the items I was exchanging and then rang up the new items I picked out. I looked at the total and asked about the amount I just exchanged (as it would have canceled most of it out). They just looked at me and said they did a return and put it back on whatever card was used originally. But they had just said ANYTHING RETURNED WOULD BE ISSUED AS STORE CREDIT. And besides I had said I needed to do an exchange. There was no way they could get that amount back from my gift. So I had to leave with nothing. They literally stole my gift and didn't even apologize. read more

Love their clothing, fit and quality. The only problem I had was finding the location inside of the big mall. (Target side of the Galleria). When I had called, the customer service agent on the phone was impatient, rude and had told me the store was located closer to Macys (which is the opposite side and far away!) This is why I am giving UniQlo a 3 star rating. The customer service on the sales floor was quite pleasant and someone did help me find what I was looking for. The people working in the fitting room seemed very overwhelmed and their assistance with getting another size was poor. At one point I went and grabbed the different size item myself since I wanted the item just in my correct size I will never bother to call UniQlo again after my experience and being misinformed. I'm glad I was able to find the store myself without the help of the "customer service" agent. The people who work in this branch are absolutely helpful. I like that they will give a definitive yes or no if you ask them if the pieces that you look at is good with your vibe or not. Other than that, pretty much all that you expect from walking in a Uniqlo store is to be expected. Nothing different than the rest of them. I went to that store at Glendale galleria. But sadly l put my receipts in one of my reusable shopping bag,when l tried the clothes on at home they were huge,l got my normal size. My 9 years old love a kids jacket for the color,l paid 55 plus tax for the jacket. First wash was completely damaged,it said delicate wash,and air dry. I went to the store at Beverly center,the guy who started helping me,was nice. He call one of the managers,she came she was not nice at all. She treat me like l didn't purchased my items,she told me to come home wash the item again and dry it with 2 wool balls. I was in shock,because she told me what to do to make me keep the items,never had an issue like this.l call the company customer service and they said the same!!! I won't never visit that place again,pricey items cheaper quality,save your receipts other wise the customer service team will force you to keep the items no matter what. The jackets needs to be wash,but the woman there said that the jackets does not need to wash because was a down jacket,when material it's poliéster. I have many down jackets because l use to work close to the beach,and winter time was pretty cold.and if it's not machine wash,l sent it to the dry clean,but never keep dirty jackets in the closet.She use many excuses to save the owner his or her money,they don't care about the customers satisfaction,they just care about your money. Aisles and aisles of well-organized, well-designed, stylish, and affordable clothing. You can get things from down jackets to maxi dresses to scarves and sleepwear. And the best part is that even though these clothes are cheap, they're also good quality! This particular store branch, compared to all the other ones I've seen in Japan and Taiwan, is relatively small so it carries much fewer items than the norm. However, it still has all the bare essentials: well-organized, well-designed, stylish, and affordable. Their heat-tech down jackets are fabulous! I've been shopping at Uniqlo for years, since the days that the only retail locations in the US were in New York City, then later in San Francisco. Their expansion to Southern California allowed me the ability to shop for their comfortable, affordable, and stylish staples just minutes from home. The Glendale location is located on the first floor near Target inside the Glendale Galleria. It's a pretty big store with men's clothes on the left side, women's on the right and kids' and baby clothes in the back. I come here for both work clothes and casual clothing. The best part about buying pants here is that they can be hemmed to fit! As I often have trouble finding the correct length for pants, this service is invaluable for me. Depending on how busy they are, hemming for pants can take anywhere from a few hours to a couple days at the most. At $20-$50 per pair for jeans, casual pants, and dress pants, you really can't go wrong! Always lots of great colors and patterns available. They have weekly promo sales that you should take advantage of when they come up. 2 for 9.90 for some of the most comfortable and affordable underwear you can buy, 19.90 for easy care dress shirts for work, and they have seasonal sales for jackets and sweaters in the winter time. I've gotten big poofy winter jackets, simple windbreakers, long trench coats, and soft and comfy hoodies at Uniqlo all for very reasonable prices! Service is always good and the store is always well-staffed. Even if lines can be long, service is always quick and backup cashiers can be called if lines start to get too long. As a bonus, if you purchase items through uniqlo.com, you can have your items delivered to the store for free without having to pay for shipping. So overall: The good: Great clothes, good quality, variety, and selections. Friendly and accommodating service. Weekly promotions and very reasonable prices. And the biggest bonus: they'll hem your pants to fit! The bad: This particular location isn't a "flagship" store so some items available at the flagship locations may be unavailable in Glendale or in lesser quantities. Expected much MUCH better from this Uniqlo store especially because of the anticipation of it finally opening. I'm used to the layout & offerings of the San Francisco store which seems like a flagship location compared to this one inside the Glendale Galleria. I was helping my cousin find a slim-fit suit and we were under the impression this Uniqlo would have them because the SF store certainly did. I was walkin around and the dressiest men's item I found were button up shirts. I asked a sales associate if they had any & she said no but to try the Beverly Center store because they "might" have them there. I cant go all the way to La Cienega on the hope that store had what we were looking for so that was out of the question. I have some Uniqlo collaboration pieces from when only the NYC store was the only one in the country. I have/had high hopes for this store opening in Glendale. There's ample parking because it's part of the mall, so yoiu can park anywhere there is mall parking as well as any of the parking for the Americana. They do have a smaller selection than I am used to at most Uniqlos, but overall their selection and service is still better than average and their clothes are on point, as with Uniqlos. read more

The location is a bit smaller than other stores, but since Glendale is a little further from the touristy spots of LA it won't be as crowded. The store is incredibly organized and the staff is very attentive. It's clear that this is a Japanese brand and they take pride in keeping an immaculate store; the staff are constantly folding. Edit: 6/14/15 Lowering the star rating to two due to the poor customer service I received. Both from last night with the lady who checked me out and one of the supervisors. I was going to let it slide with the lady who checked my stuff out last night but the supervisor's response the next day was the finishing point for me. Prior to my check-out, all of my clothes did not have stains on them and only later did I notice a stain on one of the shirts the next day. I find it a little silly that they refused to let me exchange or even return the shirt on the basis "all of our clothes are quality-checked to ensure that there are no stains on them." That is impossible to ensure as the clothes are allowed to be touched and tried on by various customers. _____________________________________________________ Loved the styles and the staff were very welcoming. I really enjoyed seeing how diverse the staff were. It's a nice surprise to see a store for once that tries to balance out the hired staff by hiring a huge variety of races and genders. read more

Love uniqlo! Wish they didn't have such terrible customer service. I've gone to the location in San Fran, Beverly Center and Glendale and it's all the same trash service. My most recent visit was at this location and I'll never step foot in again. I tried on two items and noticed I left my wallet in my car. I asked the fitting room attendant if I could place my items on hold. He said, "you have to wait in the line along with the other people waiting to pay" i said that I just want to put the items on hold and that I'd return in less than 5 mins and he refused. Told me I had to wait in line and the line was ridiculously long. I didn't see the point in that so I just ordered online instead. They really made it difficult for something that can be done easily. You know what's more exciting than the series premiere of "Kourtney and Khloe Take on the Hamptons"? The opening of Uniqlo at the Glendale Galleria!! Those who are familiar with the brand know it as a hip and cooler version of gap (then again, every store is cooler than gap). Customer Service The employees at this store are top notch. Each one of them greets you with a smile and is more than willing to help you out. It's pretty rare to get great customer service these days, so it's pretty refreshing. Clothes I will have to say that I'm pretty disappointed in their clothing line. I don't know if it's because it's fall, but why are there only sweaters and long sleeved tops?! It's still 90 degrees outside. I am also very disappointed that they don't have plenty of graphic tees or Pharell's line! I shopped at the Uniqlo in HK and they had the best line of clothes, which included various artists designs, various comics and cartoons, and awesome sleepware. The clothing brand is new to me, so I am just trying it out this summer. It seems to fit Asian figures well, as it originated in Japan, and is established in many of the major Pacific clothing markets. This store is not as well established as the Beverly Center, and carries less merchandise and sizes as does the Beverly Center. If you want pants hemmed, there is a free service for pants over $20.00, which was a surprise to me, as I believed it was free for any item. If you will be in and out, park at the Americana for less that an hour and walk across the street. The Galleria parking is messed up with construction, and can't get you as close, if you hate crowds and walking. So far the clothes is lasting, and has a stretch material for better form fitting. So Disappointed! I am a huge Uniqlo fan. I take an empty suitcase to New York and fill it at their fabulous SoHo and Fifth Avenue stores. But why oh why did they have to fail so enormously with this store? It is barely different than the "pop-up" store they put in the Santa Monica Mall. They have items on mannequins and in ads throughout the mall that they don't even carry in the store. The atmosphere is like a GAP from five years ago. The ceiling high shelving units make for a very appealing, approachable shopping environment. They also offer a shopping experience that is more like marketing than selling. People greet, but they don't approach. The staff allows you to wonder, find and then they offer there assistance.This selling model will help ease people into trusting the brand. To be quite honest, the store is a bit on the smaller size; it took over the Forever 21 (which is now outside in the Americana) and the Hallmark store, so I could understand why the selections are a bit slimmer than the one I'm used it in Union Square in SF. Nevertheless, the Uniqlo experience is still here. Friendly customer service, quick check-out and everything is organized. Granted, I couldn't find some of my sizes in jeans, and that was kind of a given, because a) I went on opening weekend and b) I forgot that the length starts are a 32 inseam. (The pants I was looking for were actually the jeannings, and I didn't see them out.) No matter, I'm happy enough that Uniqlo is close by to me, and will be dedicated 10% of my paychecks to feed the monster. read more

Came close to store closing hour and there's no line anymore! Managed to get a pair of jeans, got it hemmed, and got the ubiquitous ultra light down vest for nippy SoCal fall evenings, and a fleece full zip jacket. PROS: Organized, efficient; Good mannered staff. ASIAN SIZES!!! - though there's larger sizes for bigger and taller Americans. CAUTION: Know that once your pants get hemmed, it is final sale, so make sure you get the exact length. You are not able to return it if you change your mind after hemming. Once you open prepackaged items (t-shirt etc) you are not able to exchange them anymore. The inattention of American brands to the smaller-sized set of the population is UNIQLO's gain. Hemming pants onsite is an easy process, but you have to come back to pick up your item. Uniqlo style is streamlined, modern and functional. read more

I really like the trousers I purchased today, However the fitting room floors had so much dust on them that it got all over my new and old clothing. I told the guy at the fitting rooms as well as the girl that rang me up (Rauani) tat someone should really clean that and she looked at me like i was crazy and gave me a dirty look. Some positives, some negatives. First, the clothing is simple, but well-made. It's rare that anything you buy here is going to go the route of bleach-whiskered, intentionally "distressed" Ed Hardy-esque jeans that are passe and obnoxious as soon as you walk out of the store. Uniqlo caters to basic essentials and doesn't have the attitude or price of someplace like American Apparel. From that standpoint, I would definitely come back. Everything I've bought has been comfortable and looks good, and that's really my main purchasing criteria as a customer of clothes. A few negatives, though. They offer free hemming on their pants, but they told me they needed 2 hours. That's a long mall trip, or it means you need to come back another day. Don't push the word "convenience" on your customers when it really isn't. I have a feeling that with a conscious effort, they could get the hemming time down to an hour or less. Second, they make a big production about certain items being "final sale, no exchanges." For example, a sealed T-shirt. I understand that once a customer rips open the package, there's no way for the shirt to be re-sealed. But when I bring back two shirts still in the unbroken, un-screwed-with packaging and they make it seem like they're doing me a special favor by offering me store credit on unworn and untampered merchandise, I roll my eyes. This is the norm for any retail business on the planet. Maybe Uniqlo never got the memo here. Lastly, be advised that shirt sizes tend to run large and pants sizes tend to run small based on my extremely limited sample size of about $120 worth of merchandise. read more

The absolute worst experience that I ever had at any store. I've been meaning to post this for a while but I finally got around to doing so. When I went with my mom, she had found this blouse that she liked in an XS, but we found it on the floor with markings on it so we went to ask if there was another XS available and if there wasn't one, we had no problem at all. We asked this girl named Lianne, and right off the bat she was in a bad mood even before we asked her anything. We asked for another size, and after glancing at it once, she told us that there weren't any available. I just assumed that she was already asked this before and ignored her attitude. Immediately, she offered an ironing service so that the shirt would be clean. We weren't aware that this service was offered at Uniqlo, so my mom thanked her and asked if we should purchase it and then get it ironed. She was almost shocked and dumbfounded when we accepted the offer that SHE gave us. She probably didnt expect us to say yes to her offer???? Why offer in the first place if you didn't want us to accept? So after that, we thanked her again SINCERELY and she rolled her eyes and walked away. who hurt u lianne?? Later after we finished looking around, we went to the line to buy the clothes. There was a guy and girl employee along with Lianne. The 2 employees were helping customers and Lianne was clearly gossiping with the guy employee. My mom saw that Lianne whispered to the guy and that he had looked at my mom and laughed. What kind of treatment is this, especially to a customer? Also, it seemed like she wasn't just a mere employee. She seemed like she was a bit higher in status, so is this what she encourages the employees at Uniqlo to do? to blatantly talk about the customer right in front of them? After the girl employee finished with her customer, we went to the register to purchase our items. The minute we went to the register, Lianne walked to the next empty register and said, "Next person in line?". Obviously she waited for us to be assisted so that she wouldn't have to "deal" with us. tooo ridic. This lady was being really rude to us, and I dont think anyone would appreciate walking into a store and being treated with that amount of disrespect by an insulting employee. First time at a UniQlo store. My first experience with their merchandise was at D23 for their Disney tshirts being sold there. So I wanted to visit one of the regular merch stores. So finally headed here and kinda felt like I was at a Gap. Style is very similar, but I like the quality of the clothes here better. I purchased some underwear and socks. I've just heard of this place from my trip to Philly last year. This location was smaller, but the employees were very nice. Also, you can't beat the free on-site tailoring service. This is a apparel shop, not a tailor. Two hours is quick fool! Even dry cleaners and tailor shops make you wait a few days for alterations and he excepts this pace to get it done in hour. Poor service and return policy from this location. After testing out two chino pants and telling them my size, I wasn't happy with the fit or look after it was hemmed. One can estimate how your pants will look after being hemmed but these were way too baggy. I have purchased from Uniqlo before and like their line for it's consistent fit (3 joggers, 2 jeans, 2 chinos, 5+shirts). This fit ended up not being the same as before. Even after testing a size down. I had to speak with 3 different workers including the supervisor to try and have a compromise or exchange. Their customer care ranged from bewildered to powerless. They might be handcuffed by their corporate policy so unfortunately they receive the brunt of my displeasure and unhappiness. Now I have two pants ($35 each) that I will never wear and am down $70. I would suggest to purchase somewhere else that has a fairer return policy and more adequate customer service. This negative review is a warning to be very mindful of your purchases and hopefully a genesis to better policies. I strongly suggest you don't purchase through this store. read more

Had to write a review since my experience was so good here. Was walking through the mall the other day and saw a Uniqlo sign up. I knew about Uniqlo's jeans but never saw one in person. Ventured in, and starting trying on jeans. The girl folding the jeans (name unknown) was AWESOME. Really helpful and smiling. In fact probably EVERY person working there was open and helpful. BIG POINTS for that. I was juiced off of a grande Starbucks black coffee but so I was ready to try clothes. I went through maybe 13 pair because I thought the pants would be more Asian or European in fit. I was wrong, they are accurate for "American" styles and cuts. So I filtered a lot of jeans and got the right flow going. Picked 4 pair and got them hemmed in 30 minutes. What?? In and out with a good professional hem, in 30 minutes. Nice. The guy in the fitting room (glasses guy) was so patient. I was hopped up on caffeine and admittedly annoying with all the take backs. But he was cool. Pinned the hem for alteration and gave good advice on height. Checkout girls were great. Process was great. 4 pairs of great pants ready to go, that fit like Gold. There's actually nothing I can say about the experience that is a negative. I actually haven't had an experience this comfortable and this friendly in a store in a while. Trying on clothes is frustrating. It makes you sweat too if you go through pairs like I do.
