In addition I had my pet project, a moderate media room I've always dreamed about. I put out a request for companies to come by, give me their opinion of what needed to be done with recommendations on equipment. Out of the 4 I interviewed only Robert noted, what might seem like minor things, structural and WiFi issues that might/would affect what I wanted in the end. He came up with suggestions creatively and well within my budget. His first bid was crazy low, I know, weird. I asked him if I gave him 50% more what could he do. He upgraded key components but did not add anything. The original equipment was phenomenal, but the upgrade was unfrickin believable. The images on all TVs and especially the media room are so stunning . The sound, penetrating and enveloping. I do admit, Robert is slow at times responding to texts, calls or emails at first. He has a lot of projects and rightly so. I have had to text twice about post install stuff and he responded immediately, even when on site at another project. On one occasion he dropped everything and came to the house to reset one of the soundbars acting up. If he has availability and you need someone who actually listens to you, digests what you are saying and then implements your vision, not only to perfection, but better, You need Robert Goodall. I appreciate their efforts and time, but once installed they really were not able to problem solve issues. Their final resolve was all 4 of our tvs must have been effected by a power surge, despite all being on surge protectors. Called TV repair guy, who said no way based on channels and sometimes channels work and other times not. Tvs work on channel bands 2-13 and 13 up. Our tvs get clear channels depending on the time of day or tv. Even same time of day, one tv gets clear channel and others don't get it at all. So now we just stream everything clearly.

When we decided to upgrade our home security system, we wanted to ensure we didn't have a repeat of…read morethe bad experience we had the first time around. We checked out three companies and Al and Justin were the only company willing to stop by after a job they were working on. They listened to what we wanted and Al (owner) provided a bid the following day. After evaluating the other two bids, it was clear we needed to go with DFWCVS. Not just because of price, but service, care, good communication and quality equipment. Al and Justin arrived on time to do the install and set to work. Since we were replacing the entire system and moving some of the cameras to better locations (thank you Al), they were around all day. They worked hard and I could tell, they worked well together. Al kept us informed at all times on where they were with the install. There was one small hiccup when Justin slipped in the attic and accidentally caused some damage to our kitchen ceiling. Justin and Al felt so bad about the accident, but we kept telling them, it was an accident and we were thankful nobody got hurt. Al took action and worked on getting a repairman to come over to access the damages. Luckily, we have a neighbor that owns his own painting company and he came over and gave Al a bid. The repair work was finished a few days later. You couldn't tell it was ever damaged . Al and Justin were finishing up some work for us and were relieved to see how well it had turned out. Al took care of everything and was hired by our neighbor for some security work. A new relationship was made. Win win. We can't speak highly enough about the integrity of this company. You don't see many companies that stand behind their work like Al and Justin. They are great to work with and we couldn't be happier with our security camera system.
