It was the best experience I have had eating out in a very long time. Stumbled upon this cute restaurant because the place we usually go to was closed. Turns out we have been missing out big time on another one just down the road! The place was very clean, spacious and welcoming. We went around dinner time and it was pretty full. The food was very delicious, and the service was excellent. I have been here twice and drove down from Ceres only took 12 minutes to get here. I had the gorilla roll, and I loved it, my mom had the lion king which was bigger than most places and very good flavors. Very good!!! We tried it for the first time tonight for our daughters birthday. My son tried the broccoli beef. It had good flavor and was a really big portion!!! Could've used a bit more sauce, but it was still good. The edamame was delicious. Our youngest daughter just had some fried rice. Another huge portion! And it was very good!! Our oldest, my wife and I had rolls. They loved theirs and I loved mine! I don't remember what they had, but I had the Warriors role. Fried shrimp with jalapeño and cilantro, along with a delicious sauce. I will be getting that one again. I also had two types of tuna nigiri, which was very good as well! Due to the reviews I wanted to check it out my sister and I were not disappointed. We are new to the sushi menu a gentleman offered to make us anything and if we didn't like it he would take it back and make us something else, well we ordered one thing that we didn't like he took it back but the other item we ordered we did like I didn't get charged for the item we didn't like. WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH HUGHSON CHINESE FOOD?! It's so good! Being a new Hughsonite, I just accepted that Golden Bowl was the best. My dad came to town and wanted to try Hughson Asian Kitchen. I reluctantly agreed. SO glad I tried it. It might even be better than Golden Bowl everything was so rich and flavorful. I loved that the chicken was breast and not thigh. I prefer the mild flavor. The broccoli beef was the best I've had in my life. I loved the sauciness of the chow mein. It's absolutely worth trying. Not to mention there's also JAPANESE food! Try Jalapeño wontons! Hidden gem in Hughson, recently opened. Went in as a family of 3, service was prompt, friendly and attentive. Interior was clean, and has a sushi bar and 3 televisions. We ordered combo meals that had an abundance of food, and was served nice and steamy fresh. Other places I've been to serve chow mein drenched in sauce and grease, but this chow mein has to be by far the best I've tasted. We also ordered a shrimp tempura roll, also served hot and tempura was nice and crunchy. They had a spin on the wontons by adding jalapeño, those are a must try. read more

The Hulk roll was huge and also delicious. The food is as good as any Sushi place in the Modesto area, and I say that as someone who's eaten sushi coast-to-coast and in Hawaii.
