Ordered the Iron Man roll and it is SO GOOD! Was craving sushi and this is hitting the spot. I had oral surgery recently and was worried about the texture of a fried roll, but it's the perfect texture and the flavor is unbelievable. Unfortunately, their chow mein, and their rice was not to my liking. I did have a dinner plate with salt and pepper pork. That was amazing but their side dishes were not. I did not tray there sushi so I will give them one more try. But their side dishes Were not worth even speaking about. We tried the Sushi today. Didn't know exactly what to expect being a new restaurant in our small town. The restaurant was clean. You could tell they were short staffed and the tables were all full of people. The staff did a great job and quickly clearing tables when people left and got us seated quickly. The service was excellent. They are still getting the kinks worked out but the food was amazing. We had the Dragon Roll, Sakura roll and Gorilla roll. All were fresh and great! Me and some friends ended up here sort of by accident. It was a happy accident though! This place is great. Everything I tried was so delicious. I really liked the jalapeño poppers with the imitation crab meat. They were lightly breaded and super delicious. Good prices too! I left super full. Our server was really nice too. Worst Chinese food I've ever had. Ordered 3 chicken dishes, sweet n sour, garlic chicken, and orange chicken. All 3 were hard and dry like the chicken had been microwaved too long and they barely put any sauce on them. Chowmein was bland and dry, no sauce even the shrimp were chewy. Great place to eat. Reminds me of a place back at home growing up. My wife and I had the Kung Pao, Chicken, rice and noodles it was "Delicious". The kids had veggie rolls, shrimp, Volcano Sushi and Caterpillar Sushi. I feel bad we didn't order more sushi it was so good. The service was excellent. The young lady provided excellent service. I always have the Chicken Chow Mei and is really good, not greasy as some other places. I like the service since when I have special request for my food, the waitress are friendly and helpful and offer to ask the cook if the request is possible which usually is. Exterior and interior don't have much eye appeal but it seems clean, good service and friendly, courteous employees. Only tried one combination plate (teriyaki chicken) which was pretty tasty as was the fried rice and chow mein. The price is a bit higher than other similar restaurants but I thought the food was better than most other restaurants I've tried. I feel like I'd most likely go more often if they added maybe an egg roll or a rangoon as most other restraunts do to combination plates. I'm tired of the sushi in Turlock. One place is now charging $24.50 for one sushi roll. I searched and found Hughson asian kitchen. I showed my husband the menu. He said it sounds good and not that expensive. We ordered it online and when I started to drive out to Hughson from Turlock I thought my husband was going to have a stroke. Like me we thought Hughson was one stop sign and perhaps our restaurant was in the Chevron. Much to our surprise there's a cute little downtown. And downtown is where you'll find the restaurant. We ordered three rolls each roll consisted of eight slices of sushi. the place was quaint. However, we had ordered to go, so we picked up our items and came home. Care was taken into packaging our items. We were given, chopsticks, cookies, and soy sauce. Without having to ask. Food was good. Rolls were rolled tightly so no falling apart on the way to your mouth. Highly recommend! read more

Came here for sushi on a Monday night and man!! Rolls were large and fish was fresh! We got the Hulk, Spider Man, and Bruce Li. All three were really really good. The Miso soup was also 10/10. Coming from Turlock, the change of scenery is well appreciated. I'd love to see Hughson's downtown grow. read more

My favorite Asian food place around, by far! I have never had a bad meal here (both dine-in and to-go). Everything is always very clean, the staff is super friendly, and the food is delicious! The Spicy Garlic Edamame is a must-have and all of the sushi rolls are very fresh. We eat here at least 2 to 3 times a month (sometimes weekly) and are never disappointed. Zero stars for this place the food was awful. The fried shrimp was from a box and tasted nasty. The chow mein had a funny taste and the vegetable beef was horrible. The young lady who help was great and didn't have a problem taking my food off the tab. I will never go there again enter with caution. And yes i know how to cook Chinese food. read more
