    Black sesame bingsu

Amazing place to get Korean shaved ice called bingsu. I love bingsu and I am very happy there are places like this in Toronto! This is the downtown location of the one in bloor Koreatown I think The place is neat and bustling when I came on a weekend afternoon. Staff were friendly and ordered a red bean sesame bingsu small size. The serving was a good portion and the ice isn't melty yet when I received my order. It had a good amount of black sesame, red bean and ice. I definitely will come back to this location. They also have a stamp card so when u collect 9 stamps you get 10th for free!

We ordered the small mango and black sesame bingsu. It tasted refreshing, but I found the ice was not as smooth as I would prefer. A bit on the pricier side for dessert as well. Okay to try once at least.

Perfect spot to cool down during a heat wave! They have many dessert options from bingsu to drinks to cakes. We got their mango bingsu and matcha&red bean bingsu to share between 3 people around 9pm on a Monday. Service was surprisingly pretty quick despite 10 people walking in at once, and it was comfortable and clean inside.! Would recommend coming during daylight hours as the area can be a bit sketchier at night

A cute bingsu cafe. Love their mango bingsu, comes with little cheesecake bites which is a nice touch. I think they're bingsu is really good and not super sweet. They have a lot of different drinks and treats too. Like Coffles, I had the Oreo one and i really enjoyed it. The coffle was made fresh and was warm, paired well with the cream on top. They have a decent amount of seating. The staff is friendly and quick.

Simple and delicious menu yet still hard to choose it all looks so good! Everything is beautifully curated and created to perfection. The cheese bingsu has a perfect combo of creamy, sweet, slightly savory, and a big citrus

Just happen to meet my cousin and her husband when I was in downtown and we stopped by here, this is probably the best shaved ice i ever had so far. It was very nice of them to treat us. What I really liked about this dessert was it was not too sweet and you really get that matcha flavour the small size was massive, it melts in your mouth. I loved the red bean and matcha ice cream, it was delicious, and big portion yeah one of the best shaved ice in Toronto

    Cool decor idea

Cute Korean cafe on Church street, with a wide selection of drinks and sweets. Food was high quality, well presented, but a bit on the expensive side.

Pretty good bingsu although a bit on the sweet side. Mango bingsu comes with ice cream and some cheesecake chunks.

You walk up a goldcolored hallway and 2 flights of stairs before reaching the restaurant. The host stand is farther inside.....which will make sense once you are physically in the space. The workers were very friendly and funny. I had a great time bantering with them. My friend from 8th grade and I reunited for the first time in 21 years over dinner. This was one of her picks, and I am deeply grateful she chose it. Appetizers: Rock Shrimp, Fatty Tuna Nigiri, Crispy Rice Tuna Entrée: Jidori Chicken Drinks: Sangria, Champagne Dessert: Yuzu Citrus The rock shrimp was delicious. We loved the sauce it was tossed in. My friend is not usually a shrimp fan but she polished it off for me. The fatty tuna nigiri was great, as expected, and the crispy rice tuna was phenomenal. The Jidori chicken was delightful. We loved the sauce, and the mashed potatoes were pillowy. I did not have the sangria but my friend said it was the best she had ever had. The yuzu citrus dessert came with strawberry gelato and cookie crumbs. The gelato was not overly sweet and the yuzu was perfectly tart. They also put a little "Reunited" note on the dessert plate, which we both thought was such a sweet touch. Definitely pricey, but definitely worth it. Recommended it to my Toronto friends, I really want to go back and get that king crab rice.

The staff helped us through the menu and gave us recommendations, and was so kind and fun to chat with! I had gotten the chicken katsu and my friend the beef tartar bibimbap. Both came with amazing portions and we had food to spare. The katsu was perfectly crispy, and the house made sauce was perfectly seasoned and amazing! It also came with apples and salad on the side which was a perfect pallet cleanser. The bibimbap had a great variety of toppings and everything was seasoned well. When thoroughly mixed, everything bite had a bit of everything and it was delicious. On top of the food u get when you order, the meal also comes with 6 different sides. There was 3 different kimchi, braised potatoes and 2 others that I'm not sure what they are, but they were delicious. My favourite was the potatoes and kimchi! Overall this is an amazing place to bring those close to you for delicious korean food!

Hence we entered Jin Dai Lae. Good decision (yes, I am patting my back). Entree pricing was $3 to $4 lower than Markham/Richmond Hill. Portion was so big that you would be full, and might have to doggy bag. Most importantly, food tasted good. Short ribs stew had many pieces of beef. Squids hot plate was saucy. It wasn't too spicy, so it was good for me (menu didn't have a chilli sign either). For people who like it hot, you can ask for some chilli sauce.
