Savoring the flavors of tradition -- authentic Tianjin taste and hands down the best Chinese crepes, I could eat this five days a week!

Steam dumplings with A LOT juice!

This is food is from Tianjing province. It was very different but I like to try new things. We ordered a few of their specialties like the savory sesame tofu soup, lamb bones, the steam "soup" dumplings, and thin egg pancake-like rolled up with a crispy wonton skin in the middle. I liked, not loved, everything. I'm on the fence about this place so for now, I won't rate them too harshly. I will come back to try some other dishes and see if I feel better or worse overall.

Jian Bing Guo Zi: classic northern Chinese breakfast dish. It is mung bean crepes, with egg and onions and crispy fried dough inside.

Tianjin is famous for their breakfast foods. Finally we have an authentic Tianjin breakfast shop in this region. Everything was savory, authentic, and well-priced. Jian Bing Guozi was very flavorful. The tofu pudding soup was , comfort food at its best.

Good location and easy ordering. Food is lighter than most Tianjin breakfast, but I like it light. The staff is welcoming. The food is served fast. The inside is small, may be an issue when they fill up after the soft opening. Good value, but the picture menu can be confusing since the pictures show 3 beef biscuits and 3 regular biscuits, but they only serve 1. However, the price hints what you see will not be what you get. New business, so room for improvement! Continue to improve and it will do well. Best of luck to them!

Both food and services are lacking in my opinion; not very roomy and comfy inside as well; 3 stars for it being close to me.

It offers a generous portion of tender, juicy meat and springy, fresh noodles. "DELICIOUS!!" I arrived at No. 1 Noodle House (Rowland Heights) on Sunday (around 11AM). Parking is easy. The lot is big with many spots. Staff is very friendly and welcoming, but Staff spoke limited English. Fortunately, pointing at the menu was clear enough. The food took eight minutes and nine seconds. Fast time! As mentioned, the Beef Rib Noodle Soup ($16.50 - Mild) is wonderful! It arrived picturesque and delicious!! However, despite ordering "mild," the food has a very strong heat; I sweat nonstop as I ate. The broth is rich, savory, and spicy. The meat is tender, flavorful, and falls off the bone. And the noodles are hefty, soft, and springy. It's a wonderful, euphoric combination of flavors and textures. Concerning ambiance, No. 1 Noodle House (Rowland Heights) is surprisingly spacious with its tall ceiling and relatively clean surroundings. However, its walls and furniture look worn down with time. Some seats even had torn holes. Unfortunately, the music uses radio with constant commercials playing in the background. Fortunately, there's a gender neutral restroom in the back. Overall, I found culinary magic at No. 1 Noodle House (Rowland Heights). The food is fresh, generously portioned, and well-prepared. I left full with a bright smile. If you enjoy spicy beef noodle soup, this is a must-try! 5 out of 5!! "GO!!"

It's more intimate, but they were able to put together a couple tables for us fairly quickly. The restaurant service is Moore. Do it yourself. So you scan a QR code and place your order. There is someone that brings the food out, but there is a no tipping policy. You use self serve with the utensils sauce and even water. You can always order a soft drink self serve as well. At first, I was intimidated as the red spice looks very spicy. But it's more a mutated heat that was just flavor rather than actual things spicy like a pepper. The food was delicious! My boyfriend and I shared a traditional lamb soup and a lamb sandwich. the soup was reminiscent of a Vietnamese Pho, but had a deep flavorful taste to it! I highly recommend getting this and upgrading the bread to the spiced one! But if you don't, get the sauce and dip it. The sandwich we got not spicy but the sauce on the side helped that a lot! During dinner came the surprise ! First when you walk in there's a little stage with lots of instruments and that was cool! Turns out they have a partnership and you can even buy the instruments! They have live music. You can even sign up and play! After a few songs all of a sudden, you could hear a saxophone play and it was more alive than it did on a soundtrack. All sudden you see someone in the corner and they're playing the saxophone!! I believe he is the owner, but the music and ambience is amazing. The service even though it's a little more self service is also very friendly and so helpful. After you eat, you pay at the front. Just gotta bring up your phone to show your order. Overall, a great place with great food and atmosphere. Highly recommend you try!

Shredded Potato Salad: The best crunchy, refreshing side. Bonus: It's a no-tipping restaurant with a great vibe (live bands on weekends!). Perfect for a casual family dinner.

They offer a wide variety of options, and even during breakfast hours, you can still order lunch items. Their side dishes are very garlic-heavy, but interestingly, whenever these dishes show up at Chinese potlucks, they're always a crowd favorite. I like their noodles because you can choose between thin, thick, or knife-cut noodles, and the portions are huge. For women with a smaller appetite, one bowl could easily be enough for two people. The soup base is just average. Their fried noodles are pretty good, but for people who prefer lighter flavors, they can feel overly oily. As for the spicy noodles, to me they're more oily and numbing than pleasantly spicy -- not really my preferred style of heat. The plaza itself isn't very big, and parking is honestly one of the biggest frustrations. Traffic gets very congested, and during peak meal times, the parking lot can become completely gridlocked. The restaurant has a very casual, self-service style. You walk in and find your own seat, order by scanning a QR code, and there's a station with water and cups if you need them. Overall, a good spot if you're looking for generous portions, traditional Chinese breakfast options, and don't mind the parking situation.

You can choose from all kinds of rice rolls, rice plates, noodle soups, sandwiches, snacks, stir fried entrees, etc. and they even serve breakfast. Nice. Good menu variety. I had the $9.99 golden yellow salted droopy egg yolks french toast which was topped with custard syrup, pork sung meat floss toppings, peanut butter, etc. It was so droopy good and filled with juicy salted egg yolks. Great flavors. Huge portions. Worth it for afternoon snack. French toast was really made fluffy with egg ingredients. Sweet! Great value. $13.99 fish ball/fried fish cake noodle soup was fulfilling. Good balance and good food presentation. Loved all their colorful plates/bowls. Added a red bean iced beverage and iced coffee to go. Good feeling eating inside the place.
