We ordered lunch combos: 1. Dolsot Bibimbap + Seafood Tofu Soup 2. Galbi + Seafood Beef Tofu Soup Standard Korean fare done well. Rice cooked properly. Tofu soup was comforting and loaded with soft tofu. They could help trim the extra fat on the galbi which were juicy. Parents were satisfied with the Bibimbap tho they've had better. Pricey. No issues with service. Good amount of seating inside.

Was my go-to but not anymore. Kind of disappointed. Been here at least 5 times already. I loved getting their bulgogi, but when I went in April 2026, it was extremely sweet. It wasn't like this before. The short ribs were also overly sweet this time for some reason. Only the katsu quality stayed the same. Their portion sizes are still good though. Also the seafood pancake is over-priced and too oily. They're also not very generous with the side dishes. They never offered to refill our side dishes until we asked. What's worst is that they take the empty side dishes back and I think they refill them using the same dishes instead of getting new ones, which is not sanitary. I speculate this only because they would unstack the side dishes, take them away, and then bring the side dishes.

Tofu Bean was a souper satisfying meal overall!! I ordered the seafood & beef tofu soup and it arrived still sizzling at the table- which immediately elevated the experience! The broth was comforting, and the soups tasted good overall. My only small critique is that the seafood soup felt a little light on seafood (only about 3 shrimp and 1 clam), which was a bit disappointing. The side dishes were all good- potato, bean sprouts, seaweed, fish cake, and cucumber kimchi- and honestly this may have been the first time I genuinely enjoyed every single banchan served. The potato and cucumber kimchi were especially standout favorites for me!! Unfortunately, they do not let you take any of the banchans to go :( The space itself is large and comfortable, prices felt fair, and there's a parking lot out front which is always appreciated. Service was good- the server was kind, and while she checked in less frequently at my table than others, I figured it may have been because I was dining solo and she wanted to give me space to enjoy my meal. Overall, a solid spot for tofu soup with great banchan and fair pricing!

The food and service was good. When I went in there were only 2 ladies server there with 1 other customer. The ladies spoke to each other and joked around but when we needed assistance they were quick to come help. Inside has some autograph pictures, idk if they're of any one famous or just frequent customers. Lots tables on the inside and lots of flyers by the register. There is a charge for using your credit card but i appreciate the transparency. Unlike some places that just charge your card at the end. We got bulgogi and chicken. The meat had nice char. Also no charge for refills on the side dishes.

UPDATED REVIEW: Still AMAZING! Came here recently for dinner and it's great to see how busy they are. Lots of people of various party sizes. The staff were efficient and friendly and responsive. The food is always good and consistently well prepared. We ordered two orders of the galbi and tofu soup, one order of the bulgogi and tofu soup, and one tofu soup by itself. Whether you choose to dine in or carry out, this place does not disappoint.

We took our family here last month for my partner's mom's birthday because I wanted the family to try tofu soup. They live in the area so I Yelped this place out and saw the high ratings though with mixed reviews, I thought to give it a try. I live in OC and there are TONS of great soondubu places so I am picky.. We came on a Saturday during off hours, after lunch and before dinner.. probably around 3pm so there was nobody in the restaurant except us.. There were two ladies working and they were super nice. There were 5 of us total so we ordered a few items, galbi and bulgogi a la cart (full size), two bibimbap and 3 tofu soups. Food came out extremely slow but we were okay waiting, though I was wondering why... During the time we wait, they finished quite a few phone orders.. Food was okay, I had better in OC but it was not bad. Full size portions of the gable and bulgogi were smaller for the price than what I was used to in OC. But I like the fact that each rice came with its own standing and it was all purple rice, cute. The ban chan were good.. When we went to pay, it was when it was a bit awkward. My partner paid and noticed that on menu and at the counter, they have signs that said party of 6 tips will be automatically included. We were a party of 5 but they included automatic tips of 20% on our bill. Also, there is a surcharge for credit card. Cash will not have the surcharge... My partner pointed that out for them and they started to act really weird... at the end they said if we don't want to pay they could revise the bill but we said the point was not that, the point was the sneaky way of them sneaking that onto the bill even though we were not a party of 6.. Also, on top of that, they calculated tips on top of taxes and on top of surcharges and if your'e an accountant like me, you will find that pretty annoying. Needless to say, though food was not bad, the few hiccups would not render my return since it's not my cup of tea and it's too much of a hassle if you're into details like me.

Vibe - This place is super simple, as most Korean restaurants I've been to. Sometimes simple is better and all you need. They're clean and have plenty of tables. Service - Felt a little bad since they ran back and forth a lot with an almost full place during lunch around 12:00-1:00 PM. They were doing their best and I commend them for it! Susanna was incredibly sweet too. She apologized about the mistakes multiple times and that's when she introduced herself and said next time we come, she'd make sure things were correct. Food - Average! Personally I don't have much to complain. I've had better but if you're around and just need a place to go then this could be your spot. Dolsot Bibimbap: Loaded with veggies! I especially loved the purple rice. It didn't seem as hot as other places because sometimes I get a lot of crispy rice at the bottom by the time I get to it but this one didn't have much. The first time they brought the order they got it wrong though. I'm vegetarian and they accidentally made it with the meat when I asked without. They kindly took it back to fix though. Mul Naengmyun: We had to ask for extra ice since it wasn't cold. They also added extra noodles on accident when we said less noodles. This is really just a communication issue because of language difference so I'm not holding it against them. Overall, I'd come back again since they're decently solid and close by!

Loved the food! The side dishes tasted amazing. (My fav is the bean sprout side dish). The lady that took our order and was taking care of us was very friendly and attentive. Lots of seating areas and good for large groups or even small group of 2 people :) will be coming back.

    Pork Cutlet
    Vince N.

Went here last night and can say I am a very happy customer. Service was solid, nothing special but not bad either. The interior is nice, nothing really pops out ambiance-wise. Where they really stand out is the food. I got the pork cutlet + tofu soup deal for $29.99 and added the seafood pancake for $25.99. The pork cutlet was great. Like any other cutlet, it comes with cabbage to cut through the feeling you get when you eat anything fried. The cutlet sauce is delicious and makes it taste so much better. I didn't expect much out of the dumping tofu soup, but it surprised me. Eating it with the rice was tasty and gave me that warm feeling that you look for when eating soup. Definitely recommend packaging it with one of the other menu items to get it for cheaper. Worth it. The seafood pancake is so good. Probably my favorite bite of the night. It is the perfect blend between crispy goodness and a soft, chewy texture. It is phenomenal on its own, but it is taken to a different level when you add the sauce. I was a bit hesitant when I saw the price at first, but I regret nothing. So good. This restaurant doesn't offer to-go boxes for side dishes, which is reasonable. I took the seafood pancake home in a to-go box though. They offer a 4% discount on all of your food when you pay with cash, which is awesome. Overall, I would give this place an 9/10. Worth every single dollar and absolutely delicious, but you aren't getting much of an "experience." And that is perfectly fine!! Nothing wrong with that whatsoever. I would 100% recommend this place!!

Great customer service and a really pleasant dining experience overall. The space is spacious, clean, and comfortable, which made it a great spot to enjoy a meal. The food was delicious--highlights for me were the galbi ribs, which were flavorful and well-cooked, and the kimchi tofu soup, which was rich, comforting, and full of flavor. Solid Korean spot with great service and tasty food. I'd definitely come back!

    Bulgogi (BBQ marinated beef)
    Sydney C.

We ordered the following: Galbi + Kimchi & Beef Tofu Soup Combo ($32.99): The galbi was chewy in that satisfying way, fatty in all the right places, and so well-marinated that every bite was amazing...sweet and savory perfection. The kimchi & beef tofu soup was spicy and deeply flavorful with tender slices of beef and silken tofu that melted on my tongue. Bulgogi + Beef Tofu Soup Combo ($29.99): The bulgogi was slightly caramelized and ridiculously tender. Sweet soy goodness with just enough char to keep things interesting. This tofu soup had a lighter broth than the kimchi version which is great if you want that classic, hearty soup. Seafood Pancake with Vegetables ($25.99): This was the size of a personal pizza. They actually brought out the first seafood pancake to show us that it had gotten burnt on the bottom, then immediately took it back and remade it without us even asking. Fifteen minutes later, a perfectly golden, crispy pancake arrived at our table. The proactive service really impressed us. It was loaded with squid, shrimp, and veggies. We loved this dish the last time we visited, so we had to order it again. Banchan spread: kimchi, fishcake, mashed potatoes, pickled cucumbers, bean sprouts, and seaweed knots. They also gave us egg to crack into the tofu soup ourselves. Parking was easy and we were seated almost immediately. Staff was friendly and super quick with the refills. The wall mounted TVs played a rotation of K-pop, K-dramas, and variety shows which was an added layer of entertainment we could enjoy as we ate.

Tried this place because it was recommended by my cousin and it was delicious and authentic! The tofu soup was very tasty and I love that you could modify the spice level. The sides were also very tasty and I love that the soup came with a raw egg! The meat was a little fatty but flavor was great. The service was quick and lots of seating! If I'm ever in this area I'd eat here again.

    Kimichi soondubu
    Kei P.

If ever I'm craving soondubu, this is my go-to spot. I take my friends who have never had soondubu here too and they all love it! The flavor of the soondubu is so savory and umami, it hits all the right notes that a certain other big soondbu chain doesn't. They don't skimp out on the banchan (side dishes) either. Service is hit-or-miss, depending on when you go. It can get pretty busy during their dinner service, but if you go during their off-peak hours, it's pretty chill. There's a lot of parking in the plaza so no stress there either.

We waited nearly 2 hours for our table, but time went by quickly because my boyfriend and I played free video games the entire time! Unfortunately, we were not aware that we would have limited time to eat. Instead of 1 1/2 hours, we only had 45 minutes because last call was 9:30. We did feel rushed and were told by someone we would be given extra time, but we were not. Our waiter said the person who seated us was wrong. We still paid full price, which really didn't sit well with me since we weren't able to take our time to choose what we wanted to eat. Instead, we had to rush to order and got full quickly. Why didn't the hostess let us know when we arrived? For $85 a person, I would have gone somewhere else and come back another time to enjoy myself, not feel rushed and made to feel like I was eating desserts and side items that had been out all day. We didn't get to try the Wagyu burgers since there weren't any. Just empty trays. Four or five pieces of dessert to choose from. Not four or five types, just five left. I guess if you go later, they do not put any additional food out. Pretty disappointing, especially with the high cost. Our server, Kenzie, was very friendly and definitely made our night better. The restaurant has a very cool vibe and plays music loud, but not to where it's annoying. I recommend it; just go early.

Thanks Austin for the excellent service! Everything was delicious. Will return soon!!read more

The prices are a tad high, but we live now in 2026, so I have to realize that inflation from the past quarter century or longer has impacted the perception that a plate of Chow Mein or bowl of Won Ton costs more than the $3.95 of the 1980's and more than the $5.95-$8.95 of the 1990's and even more than the $10-12 of the early Y2K... so paying in the realm of $15-20 per entree I guess should be expected in 2026. The portions were good on the chow mein. The won ton soup (no noodles) came with 8 pieces of Won Ton which is average. I added roast duck but got the worst luck of the draw with the drumstick quarter (the best is the "breast" portion quarter) which comprised of a small piece chopped into 4 pieces that was lacking meat (skin and bones!!) and in hindsight, I should have skipped the duck or ordered a side dish of duck a la carte separate. The "To Go" was an interesting experience, as I ordered a 1/2 pound of Roast Pork (Siu Yuk) and true to Chinese butcher shop tradition, I should have said "I want $10 of Roast Pork" than what I said, which was "I want 1/2 pound of Roast Pork" as my mom told me whenever you order by weight, they tend to go way over that mark and assume it's okay, so what should have been $11 ended up being $18 and more like 3/4 pound than 1/2 pound so my own oblivious ignorance caused a 50% upsell. The biggest or oddest aspect was, for $18, the portion of what 3/4 lbs (12 oz) is, isn't that much. When you factor in the fat content and weight of the fat, there's not that much meat, and the "cracklin' skin" was good where it was, but was absent from portions of the serving, so I'd say I was disappointed overall in this. I think the rate was about $22/lb, which again in 2026 might make sense to be competitive FMV fair market value, but growing up in the 1990's as a consumer, seems too high to the good 'ol days of 30-40 years ago... again, nobody's fault by misguided perception by folks who are 50-60+ years old in 2026. I'd come back here, but would order differently.

The dishes no longer have that proper wok hei flavor, and the food tasted bad on my recent visit. What made the experience even worse was the service. The staff were rude, dismissive, and acted annoyed that customers were even there. One of the girls, the one with the ponytail, was especially rude and needs to learn basic manners. Another staff member was also unfriendly and gave attitude the entire time. I also did not appreciate being pressured about tipping. A tip should be optional and based on good service. If the service is poor, customers should not be made to feel uncomfortable or confronted over it. On top of that, they add extra charges when using a credit card, including a fee if you spend under $30. That already feels frustrating, but the bigger issue is the attitude and poor treatment from staff. Customers are the reason businesses stay open. No one is asking to be treated like royalty, but people come in to enjoy a meal and should at least be treated with basic respect. For side dishes, they offer a good selection including steamed egg, tofu soup, miso soup, ramen, salad, and kimchi. The steamed egg was soft and comforting, and the tofu soup had good flavor, which added to the overall meal. The restaurant environment is simple but comfortable, with spacious seating and clean grills. Service was reasonably attentive and refills of meat came at a decent pace. Considering the current Korean BBQ prices in the LA area, $34.99 for the Premium AYCE feels like a fair mid-range option. You get a lot of variety including seafood and multiple cuts of meat. That said, if you are looking for top-tier meat quality, this place may feel more average. Overall: a good spot for casual gatherings with friends when you want to enjoy plenty of grilled meat without spending too much. Recommended items: * Beef tongue * LA kalbi short rib * Pork belly Solid value for an AYCE Korean BBQ meal.
