Absolutely understand when other yelpers wrote staff didn't come over right away They are short stated, kind wonderful about ny duet allergies and food was phenomenal. When an activity is occurring at a hotel, come out b4 it ends and secure a table, that's what we did. Drinks were poured exact burgers were cooked well steak was decent and the wings were great Wait staff attentive even with lots of customers they worked as a team and it went well for us I'll be back

Absolutely terrific, upbeat, place to enjoy a light lunch, a seasonal Dinner, cocktails for an event or just thev phenomenal desserts selection. Warmly welcomed by a seasoned bartender. Immediately took order, ensured all was to my liking and served up wonderfully. A delightful visit. Angel fantastic bartender

Cyndy's Bottom Line: The obvious. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks. A Manhattan on the rocks with a twist and a prosecco. The Manhattan was not as ordered. Please try again. Luckily the prosecco comes in a single serving bottle. .

Did someone mention AYCE prime rib? Whenever you crave a huge hunk of prime rib and feel like you can eat more, come to Hull & Mason. Definitely Quincy best kept secret and the best way to spend your Saturday night for $19.99 One word though, they do tend to overcook the prime rib. If you are used to medium rare steak, ask for rare here. As far as the decor goes, the renovation has added a nice touch of higher end bistro feel to the restaurant. I'm glad that they are still continuing the $19.99 AYCE prime rib tradition on Friday and Saturday night. Get a white wine sangria with your meal. They are delicious.

For a hotel restaurant the food was amazing! I had the scallops appetizer and they did not disappoint.

The old "idle hour"…read more First time ordering pizza from here and it was okay. I think I would prefer to go in next time and grab a bar seat or table and eat in house. We also ordered their Caesar Salad which was good. I do remember this spot before it was Drifters and it was called Idle Hour which I loved so much. But I will say I am excited that a new pizza spot is now in its place. I think my next time that I try this will be physically at the restaurant. My only concern is that it is very loud. It is a great place to go watch sports for sure!

Grabbed drinks here with a friend on a Saturday night and wow was it busy!…read more There was live music when we first walked in so the ambiance was quite loud... like I could barely hear myself let alone hold a conversation. The place itself was small too so the music really overpowered everything. But once the live music wrapped up the vibes were good! Not too loud that I was screaming over it, but still lively. I got the Heart of Stone which was delicious! Not too sour or sweet, but was definitely a strong cocktail. I had 3/4 of it and I was already feeling it. My friend got an Old Fashioned and she was a big fan! It went down quite smoothly and tasted good too. For $14 a drink, it was a little pricy but honestly I've seen places in Boston charge more. I would recommend coming here to grab drinks but maybe not a spot to catch up because of how loud it was. Would love to try their food as it looked pretty good!

This was my first time here and it was so good! I tried a margarita and an espresso martini and…read morealthough the margarita was really good, the espresso martini was smooth, refreshing, with just enough sweetness, definitely my favorite of the two. The drinks menu has so much variety for margs, espresso martinis, sangrias and more. I got a tavern burger and it did not disappoint. It was cooked perfectly medium and the toppings were just enough, not too over the top. Good flavor and juicyyy too. The only thing that personally wasn't up my alley was the garlic parm fries, I should had stuck with plain ol fries. They were cooked well and were seasoned well but something made them a little on the greasy side. The aioli or truffle sauce was super bland and tasted like mayo (maybe it was mayo). I'd still keep my review at five stars though and this may just be a preference thing! Our server was great too and service was very friendly, prompt, with good conversation. Upgraded the experience a bit. I would come back here anytime.

Welcome to Braintree, Tavern in the Square!…read more What once was home to Friday's is now the renovated Tavern in the Square. I think we can all agree that Friday's was a dump and needed to go. I have been to several other Tavern in the Square and I am happy that they finally came to Braintree. With plenty of parking, depending on the time and day, this restaurant is clean, new, and is perfect for watching all kinds of sports. With great big TVs, excellent food and wonderful service, I believe Tavern in the Square will thrive here. We stopped in here for a quick lunch and had great service. I ordered the Chopped Greek with Chicken which was larger than I hoped but still very good. My husband had their Steak & Cheese Crunch Melt. It reminded me of a steak and cheese but better. A must order for sure! Go check it out for yourself! I know you will be impressed as much as we were.

I stepped out to try something new at Legal Sea Foods…read more The Creamy Shrimp & Corn Soup was indeed creamy and had a good amount of shrimp and good corny flavor. But the shrimp were a bit on the mealy side, so I would prefer their delicious clam chowder over this soup. I considered the Grilled Rainbow Trout with Roasted Corn Salsa and Avocado Crema, but someone else ordered it, so I tried the Haddock baked Anna's Way. My baked haddock was moister than the grilled trout, and was deemed the winner between the two! *** Yet another visit to Legal Sea Food and I turned my attention from their lunch menu to the regular menu and ended up selecting the crabcake and grilled shrimp entree which comes with a salad and a side of pilaf for $45. It was good, as was my sampling of arctic char grilled with lemon butter & crispy capers, which turned out to be an orange colored fish, tender with a nice crisp skin. I considered changing up the slides briefly, but the veggies were different since our previous trip, and the brussels sprouts were gone. I must give props to service on this visit. It wasn't just better than Legal's normal service, but it stood out all around. Julia not only conveyed that she had been informed of the note I had included in our reservation, but she wished my parents a happy anniversary, divided the bowl of soup that they were going to share for their convenience, and surprised them with a warm cookie a la mode with an anniversary note decoration beside it. We never had to ask for a single thing. The orders all came out correctly, and refills of water were offered before we even felt need.
