One dealership had a nice 2011 with a 19,900 price tag but as soon as I started to negotiate on it, the 3 year warranty came out plus the warranty /insurance on the catalytic convertor. Now the price was $25k! including gst if yu did a cash deal. I left empty handed. I saw Jacky's advert on KIJIJI and went to look at it and it was good. No pressure and a straight forward process. The best thing was he didn't push a warranty and other hidden charges on me. He did offer a 3rd party warranty if I was interested, but that was it. The car only came with one key, and Jacky offered to get a second one made up for me at no charge. I really enjoyed the experiance with Platinum Fine Cars and I would reccomend them to anyone wanting a hassle free experiance.

Sold a Repaired Truck as New - No Disclosure, Ongoing Issues…read more Review: I purchased a brand-new 2024 GMC Canyon Denali from Sherwood Buick GMC, expecting a factory-fresh, undamaged vehicle. That's why I bought new -- to avoid the risks that come with used vehicles. Unfortunately, after taking delivery, I discovered pre-existing roof damage near the B-pillar that had clearly been repaired before I picked it up, with no disclosure from the dealership. This is a serious breach of trust. Had I been informed of the repair, I would not have accepted the vehicle. Even though they've acknowledged the damage and offered to fix it again, the truck now has diminished value, and I'm left with a vehicle I would never have purchased had I known the truth. Worse, delivery was delayed by about a week, and I now have to wonder whether the real reason for that delay was to complete the hidden repair -- not what I was originally told. This came on top of other issues: Tire was low on air at delivery -- not what I expect on a brand-new truck. PPF that I paid for began bubbling/lifting in multiple spots within 2 weeks. The Peace of Mind inspection I requested was not completed. Truck was missing floor mats and second key -- eventually received, but only after chasing it down. A different, cheaper tonneau cover was installed than what I agreed to -- with no clear refund or price reduction. I attempted to follow up with General Manager Erik, but after reporting the unresolved issues, I never heard back. I truly wanted to support a local dealer and believed I was making a premium purchase. But unfortunately, transparency, communication, and trust have been missing at nearly every step.
