Ok this was my very first time experiencing spray tanning and I have to say that Humble Bee Sugaring Studio is the BEST place to get a spray tan done! For a first timer, I have to admit I was so nervous! It's silly, but I felt like this was a complicated process and feared I was coming out with a tan that looked unnatural which is why I put it off for so long. From start to finish, Humble Bee Sugaring Studio made the process a breeze and helped calm any worries I had. I was able to text to setup an appoinment around my schedule, obtain pre and post tan instructions prior to my visit, and meet with my schedule worker bee the morning of to get my tan done. Siera was the one assisting me for my tan and I cant stress enough how wonderful she was. She was friendly, professional, and answered all my questions and concerns. The tanning process was so easy and she made me feel comfortable the entire time [especially when being completely unclothed in front of a stranger for the entire process]. Would I go back? ABSOLUTELY!! My tan is BEAUTIFUL and I'm so excited to show it off this week on my vacation! Thank you Siera for your amazing work and all your help! You're the best! I wish I could give Alexis a million stars. Waxing is generally a painful, unpleasant but needed experience. Not here. We chit chatted through the whole thing but she def let me take the lead on how much talking we did, and the waxing itself was nearly painless. Obviously it hurts for a second but nowhere near what it was at other places. Sugaring generally hurts less then other waxes, but she was also very careful about making sure I inhaled/exhaled so it didn't hurt. And she didn't miss a spot! I've gotten my sugaring done here by Rochelle and by Kyara - both are such amazing girls and make you feel very comfortable during the entire process. The place is clean, relaxing, and has a soft ambient lighting that's definitely preferable to hospital style bright lights. They have snacks, water bottles, and baby wipes for client use, which is super nice. It's hair removal so there's definitely some pain, especially during your first sessions, but I've noticed slowed growth and thinning in the hair I get sugaring for routinely. Not my first spay tan at Humble Bee, but it was the first time I turned blue. I'm not sure what I was sprayed with, but by the time I got home I was blue. I immediately washed it off, but it still burned my skin. That was 2 weeks ago and my back is still burning.
