Unfortunately- I am changing my review and leaving Polished3. I have been coming here for several years and have referred clients for them. But the last two visits have really been terrible. Ivy usually does my nails. I had made an appointment but she was out of town. The woman who did my nails left me with 10 different sizes and shapes of nails. Ivy came back into town and fixed them. When I went to make my next appointment- I was told ivy was no longer working in the salon and the other owner would do my nails. This is not what happened. The same woman did my pedicure and my nails. I got a hot stone pedicure- which is $70- with gel polish. She ran the stones up and down my legs once - and my massage was over. Disappointing to say the least. She then started my nails and the more I looked at them - the worse they got. I sat a total time of three hours and just let it happen. I paid and tipped and walked right out. The owner couldn't even keep a promise to a loyal customer. Won't be returning. read more

I'm literally typing this up while I'm sitting here and I can't wait for my pedicure to be over- with chairs that are suppose to relax you, my chair feels like it's beating me up- in a bad way, I'm starting to get neck pain, like freal? Ouch! As far as the overall salon, it's cute, modern, seems clean but it barely had any patrons when I walked in, which was nice because there wasn't a wait for me. I'm used to nail salons super busy with people waiting and waiting, so this was a nice change. They offer water and soda. As far as gel nail color options, they have a lot of choices! It literally took me almost 10 minutes to find a color. When I showed her what color I wanted, I was super sad they were out of the OPI color: "funny bunny" & that's what I wanted! Overall pedi was good, but I still don't know the name of my nail tech... I opted to try this place because they offered 20% for first time customers and with the high cost of pedicures in this area, any discount helps THIS starving student! Lol. Not bad, not bad at all. In search of a nail salon that would be close to my job (and a recommendation from a coworker) I ended up here. I am going on a trip this weekend and needed a last minute pedicure that I could fit in during my lunch break. Thankfully, just a few short miles away - Polished was able to book me a last minute, mid-day appointment. It is a little shop, located in a shopping center right next to Sunset Park. It wasn't very busy. In fact, besides a group of 3 friends, I was the only one there. The young man who did my pedicure was very nice and mostly thorough. The are a few small spots on my toes that are missing polish but not noticeable unless you're up close...I don't want anyone that close to my toes anyway! I also wish he filed the corners of my nails a little more as well. I fell asleep during the foot massage, which is exactly as it should be, in my opinion. There was a wide variety of polish options; and beside an interior furniture that felt a little dated, it was overall a clean establishment. Very convenient place and it seemed easy enough to accommodate a last minute appointment. There are a few changes I would hope for here & there; but ultimately it was a good first impression. Love this new Nail salon! My new spot thanks to Ivy and Bao! I got the works.. pedicure and manicure and got gel for my pedi. All white for both something I've never done before. Love the attention to detail and the Personalized service. Friday night about 6:55pm I walked in without an appointment and was seen as soon as I walked in - awesome!!!! Thank you for such great work and being so friendly! Walked out at about 8:30pm & accidentally bumped and ruined my right big toe polish... called and the manager and said to come back in Saturday... so I did and they fixed it at no additional charge! The prices, types of services, and color selection offered here are great! But the actual service is meh/mediocre - definitely not impressed and probably won't be coming back. There was no base coat applied prior to the color polish and the application is worst than my left hand application (I'm right handed). I had asked for my toe polish to be cleaned up and even still wasn't great. The cuticle clean up on both hands and toes were not clean or thorough. Nail shapes are not clean or even. Part of the cucumber pedicure package include a callus remover/treatment...the nail tech just used callus remover/cheese grater looking thing and a very rough pumice stone brushing. No callus soak or treatment. They're still rough. Not once was underneath any of my nails cleaned. read more

So I HAD to leave this review because this was my 2nd time coming here & I had 2 different "nail techs" work on me for a MANICURE. Nothing special. Just a basic manicure BOTH times. The 1st time I had a woman who's been there for over a year she said & the 2nd time (today) the older guy is in the middle row tells me he's been there "long time" and has been doing nails "long before" he came to Polished Nails & Spa. The only reasons I went both times is the location, it's close and I wasn't able to get an appointment in with my normal nail tech on the other side of town. Even though the 1st time I went here it was below satisfactory I THOUGHT maybe she was just having and not a bad day. However, a month later & I'm back with a totally different person & I'm shocked that 2 out of 2 don't know how to do a manicure. The absolute WORST PART OF ALL is the way I was handled, truly unprofessional, and overall just mean-spirited. A person doesn't have to speak another language or be able to speak at all to know when they are being talked about. On top of that he kept huffing and puffing like he was frustrated and then he would start saying stuff under his breath. Every time he touched me it felt like he was flinging me away. I don't know if that is something he always does but regardless, it's very rude and it doesn't make the customer feel good when you're pushing their hands away. I felt very rushed, and the result was not good sink standard manicure would come out looking like. The dry skin, the little pieces of hanging skin around the nail he couldn't even clean it up. I don't understand how he's able to work here why no one who works with him in the shop says anything to him about his behavior or the way that he speaks to a customer but maybe it's because he's the owner himself I don't know just know that he's pretty bad if I had to place him on a list he would definitely be the worst Nail Tech I ever had. read more

I have been here several times and I have I always liked the outcome of my nails. Every-time Tony would do them. I went in for a full set and pedicure. The pedicure was very good. My complain is the full set. It was done extremely sloppy. The nail tech should not be doing nails. I stated couple times nails were bumpy and sloppy. She kept assuring they were fine. I have been getting my nails done for years and have NEVER soaked my finger tips in a bowl of acetone to remove dip polish..wth??! I came from California for a weekend trip with my friends and the day before I got a really bad gel manicure and I didn't have time to get it re done so I decided I would find a place near where I'm staying. I found Polished3 and with their 20% off coupon on their yelp, I couldn't resist. I saw that recently that their yelp reviews have been negative, but I wanted to give them the benefit of a doubt. The moment I arrived in LV I gave them a call to ask about how long their wait time is and a gentleman picked up asking what I would like done and that I could come in right away. I asked if they do gel builder and they said yes. I requested a gel builder and pedi. I get to their Salon and it's very cute and clean. They have a really good polish selection so it was very hard to pick one color. No complaints about the looks of the place and selection at all. I'm seated and I told the lady do my nails that I wanted gel builder. As soon as she pulled out the tips I was like wait, why are you using tips? She said if I wanted long nails I would have to get tips installed, but from what I normally see is that they use a form to build the tip. I told her that and she asked me if I knew what I wanted if it was a gel manicure or gel builder. This is my bad for assuming that they use nails forms and not tips, I should have asked before I came but I didn't appreciate her tone. Let's go over the whole process. Throughout the whole time I was in pain. Every time she would push the sides of my nails down with her nail it would hurt. She would do it really hard multiple times. I've never had anyone done that as rough as she did. And when she filed my nails she would file it into my skin and now my fingers are raw and in pain. She filed so much that after we were done I noticed blood when I got home, my fingers are now scabbing. When she would use the electric nail file she would also hit my cuticles and that would also hurt. The look of my overall nails are nice, but looking closely I see the cleanup isn't the greatest. What made me really surprised was the conversation between the man who was on his tablet the majority of the time I was there and the nail tech who did my nails. The man on the tablet said that the client they just had left a 3 star review on yelp because of her pedicure. Keep in mind they were having this whole conversation in Vietnamese and they did not know I could understand what they were saying. My nail tech was talking very badly about the client who left the review and insulting her. I was so surprised to hear what she was saying and I looked over at my friend really shocked. Never have I heard someone talk that badly about a client. That's just unprofessional and in poor taste, if you're going to do something like that then you better do it on your own time. Overall, my experience isn't the greatest and I kind of regret getting my nails done here. The only reason I'm giving this place a 2 stars instead of 1 because I liked the overall look, but everything else was pretty negative. read more

The nail technician kept cutting me every time she was filing my nails the nails are completely uneven she didn't clean off my nails before putting the gel on so my nails have small bubbles of dust she was rushing because she was late to another appointment. Rude employees, dirty shop, sloppy work. This place has gone completely downhill since it opened a couple of years ago. My last visit was one of the worst service experiences of my life, and was hands down the worst mani/pedi I've ever received. For the pedi, I was rushed through my color selection, and she finished in under 15 min, meaning she essentially didn't do the massage, the hot towel treatment, the scrub, or any of the other "spa" aspects of the pedicure. She also used tools that had clearly not been disinfected, and then ripped off part of my skin, and because of this, my toe is now inflamed and swollen a couple of days later (see photo). For the mani, the girl was insanely rude, and cut me multiple times with her drill (see photos). She was sloppy with shaping my nails, and after asking her to correct her third or fourth mistake on the crooked acrylic tips, she told me she'd be charging me an extra $5 for having to shape them, on top of the normal price. On top of the sloppy work and cuts on both hands, she also had filth trapped under her own bare nails, stains all over her clothes, and was just generally dirty. She scraped under my nails with her own dirty hands, which was just disgusting and so unsanitary. I won't be back, and would strongly caution anyone from visiting this location unless they want to walk away with crooked nails, cuts, and infections. read more

My friend and I went to go get French tips and first I'm not even sure the guy knew how to do them correctly. He was extremely rough, he nipped 3 of my fingers cutting the cuticle and when the first one started bleeding I was like oh it's okay it happens! Then the second one started bleeding, then the third and at that point I was like OKAY!! Then when he started cleaning the white nail polish he made them extremely uneven I spent 10 minutes telling him to correct the same finger, at one point I was like ok leave it. When my friend got home she texted me she found that her toe was bleeding under her nail. Yeah never again and not worth $50 and my friend paid $65. read more
