We live about 4 hours away from SLO county and it was really hard for us to be up there all the time to meet with vendors when we were planning our wedding. Paul understood this and arranged to meet with us in person to get to know us better. During our meeting, he asked us questions that made us really reflect on our relationship. He was able to use that one personal meeting to get a sense of my husband and I truly feel for each other and used that to write a wonderful ceremony for our wedding. Paul was very communicative through the entire planning process. He was also very flexible when we had to switch our wedding venue due to a last minute issue with the original one. He emailed us samples of personalized and I Do style vows. He also provided an excellent step by step instructions on how to obtain a marriage license through the county, which made it easy for us to apply for one and request certified copies when we went back to SLO about a month before our wedding day. Paul guided both my husband and I in writing our vows and creating a ceremony flow. On the day of the wedding, he arrived at the venue about half an hour early and checked in with us right away. He helped mingle with our guests and made them feel comfortable and welcomed. The ceremony itself was lovely and heartfelt. He had all our speaking parts printed out on cream colored card stock paper and he held on to our rings for us. We had a very small wedding and did not have a wedding entourage to do this for us, so he stepped in did this for us. His communication did not stop even after the wedding day. A few weeks later, he sent us a lovely email to check in on our honeymoon and to send us the card stock containing our vows and speaking parts. We cannot express how much we appreciate everything Paul did to make our wedding day special. He was very calming and put both of us at ease. Thank you, Paul!
