I was at work and hungry. Didn't know what I wanted. Had to go to the post office, figured I would decide on the way over there. Nope. Got back in my car and just sat there trying to decide where to go. Finally landed on Hummus Bean, it had been a couple weeks since my husband brought it home for dinner, and I really liked it. Was worried the wait would be long, but it was almost 1:30 so I assumed I was safe, lunch rush was over. Walked in, one lady ahead of me. She paid and I placed my order of a chicken kebab plate, and also took a large cup of their cucumber mint agua frescas. They had 3 flavors to choose from, but that one sounded best to me. The super friendly cashier gave me a number and told me to sit wherever, and they would bring me my order. She also said if I drank a bunch of it and wanted a refill, she would fill my cup up on my way out. Nice! My cucumber mint drink was delicious! I did not have time to drink much of it, as my food was out in less than 10 minutes. I was shocked at how fast they cooked it! Took my food back to work and it was an amazing lunch. Their garlic sauce is to die for, the chicken is marinated so well, and I love the rice. Pita, hummus, and salad are also really good. With the drink and the food my lunch was about $18, which is on the pricier side, but well worth it. I will definitely be back! read more

We were craving Mediterranean food, so we decided to try out Hummus Bean Grill. The food was ready in about 20-30 minutes. The portions were a bit small for the price, but it was enough to fill us up. The food tasted fresh, and I appreciated how the salad wasn't soggy as some restaurants don't pay enough attention to preparing their salads. My only complaint would be the soggy fries. read more

This place seems to be seriously overhyped. We went for dinner a couple of weeks ago and the food was average. I ordered the beef while my husband had the chicken. The amount of food served for the price is ridiculous. I mean the meat portion size was so small, we were still very hungry afterwards. The beef was cooked perfectly, but the problem lies in the taste. There was not much flavor to it. The chicken was worse with there being zero flavor. I think we would skip coming here again. Very disappointed as we were expecting something much better based on reviews. read more

Wow. Solid Mediterranean food. They seriously have one of the best salads ever with a generous amount of cucumbers, tomatoes and green olives - beyond refreshing! We also love their steak and kefta kabobs, which are both really tender and flavorful. The cucumber mint lime drink is also a great way to cap off a meal here. The owner is super enthusiastic and unbelievably sweet! His joy for food and the community is truly contagious. I will definitely be back for more deliciousness soon and love how they have a spacious outdoor dining area! read more

went here on oct 13 after church for early lunch 5 star all the way . 2nd time here my wife and i got chicken and steak kabobs plate comes with salad rice pita bread garlic whipped butter . great flavor chicken and steak cooked pefectly . rice was fluffy perfect basmatti style . hummus tasted home made . salad was exotic spinach and different salad greens with olives and bell peppers . good price for value lunch about 20 dollars well worth it for this quality and flavor. we are happy to come back 2nd time here. staff is very nice and helpfull here. great little gem for this style food . cheers read more

Amazing service in the food it has a good flavor. If u like too try it Mediterranean food try this place great. Honestly we tried the burger and it was packed with flavor the kids plate was really good portion for the price. You defiantly will love the flavors here, my other kid got the falafel plate and he devoured it! My wife got the chicken plate and she loved it super tender packed with flavor not over cooked. All I gotta say is Benji and Kevin rocked it today I had the best chicken kebab plate. Oh my God and both of them made me feel so comfortable.. the hummus is made fresh daily, and it was so amazing flavorful so good I love the chicken kebab the rice, the salad everything was perfect. You also must try their natural juices free refills guys. If you have Mediterranean food, come and check out hummus being and ask for Benji or Kevin. They are amazing they made my night. My wife and I got a couple of kebab plates. I was immediately put off by having to pay a service charge to use a credit card, and made a conscious decision to write this place off my regular rotation for that reason. The food took awhile to get to the table, but it was fresh and definitely above average. The quality is very good for the price, but having to pay additional money to use a credit card is a personal turn-off for me and for that reason alone my experience was less than excellent. Edited to add - my chicken tasted good. My wife's was heavily salted, which I didn't believe until I tried it myself. Her chicken was salty enough to make my mouth pucker! read more

Super fresh food, cold crisp delicious salads and perfectly spiced kabobs and the gyro wraps are insane. Don't miss the fresh blackberry lime-aide, absolutely decadent ! We had our doc with us and ate in the peaceful courtyard and unexpectedly the owner brought her out a dinner plate of rice and meat and made this little birthday pup a very, very happy little girl! Decided to give this place another shot because I know all restaurants have their ups and downs. Ordered again on Uber Eats and it was worse than last time! I ordered the gyro plate and it appeared and tasted the like beef jerky plate. Every other part of the plate was edible, but I basically lost my appetite after this. read more

Just recently tried their burger special, the burger was cooked perfectly, I substituted the fries for salad and got a the pineapple beverage. The beverage was watered down but it was an hour before closing time and the container where it was stored in was almost empty so I won't hold it against them. Overall their food was great and I'll definitely return another day. read more

I'm not even from the area nor do I work or visit the city really at all, but I just happened to make a pit stop to pick up Jamba Juice next door and realized that I was actually hungry and saw on Yelp that Hummus Bean was just right there and I definitely had a Mediterranean craving that morning! While waiting for my order at jamba, I decided to put an order in on the app not realizing they had just barely opened at 10 am and I believe it was about 10:15 when I ordered. I strolled over there after jamba at about 10:25 and tried to open the doors but they were locked. I was confused for a moment but someone opened the door and I let them know I had placed an online order and that I knew I was early but just wanted to let them know I was there waiting. The guy had seen my name come up and told me it'd be about 15-20 minutes. There was a lovely little courtyard outside the front doors that's also shared with corner bakery and Starbucks. A bunch of tables and chairs outside and people sitting with their laptops and earphones on and just casual conversations going on between people and it was just a nice morning that I wished I could be a regular in the area. I waited patiently for my order and the same guy brought it outside to me at about 10:49 or so. I ordered the chicken wrap combo with fries ($10.95) for my bfs lunch and a falafel salad ($11.95) for myself. It was DELICIOUS. It hit the spot and I know I don't really have falafel much but it was as good as other Mediterranean places I've gone to and I've never had bad ones or bad experiences. It was so appetizing with the combo of a spring mix, feta cheese, diced tomatoes, cucumber slices, bell peppers, and olives. I honestly do not like olives at all but I think it paired nicely with everything so I didn't have to pick them out or anything. I seriously could not stop eating all of it! If I'm ever in the area I'll have to stop by again Also, why don't I have any pictures? Because I literally just ate all of it straight and didn't even think to take one. ‍ read more

First time trying this place and let me start by saying the service was excellent. Covid still has some restaurants against the ropes and many have given up even faking quality service. These guys were friendly, made a great meal, and even gave us a bottle water because they heard my wife and I talking about being thirsty. I came here because I didn't want a "fancy" meal...I wanted good Mediterranean...I wanted no frills tasty. The gyro hit the spot. Wife had falafel and she loved it. I also like the pickles because they were the kind you'd find on a street cart and not at Stater Bros in a jar. Good prices too! read more

The food took a while to be served but it's worth it because it's all cooked to order. Everything is fresh and savory. The cauliflower is not as fried as you think , which is good. It's still crunchy and spiced well. The panini is so delicious. The total price was $21 which seems like a lot but it could easily feed two people or great for leftovers. Rice was wet (strange) and the hummus was awful - oily and not flavorful. Pita bread was very thin and flaky so not ideal.
