Fattoush salad was fresh crisp and delicious, dressing was light and lively.

Really enjoyed my dinner at Rosine's. Haven't been there for a while. We had the fattoush salad and the lamb kebab. The fattoush was perfect, fresh and crisp in every bite. The lamb was ok but we would have preferred not having essences of rosemary. The service was GREAT,Chris made sure every request was delivered quick and with a smile, the ambiance was delightful, dimly lit and trendy. Will definitely be back.

We finally decided to try this place and it was great. The place is packed but spacious. We got a seat pretty quick for coming in at 6pm. The food quality is awesome. We tried the garlic butter with the naan which is complementary and the garlic butter was good 10/10. We got the wild calamari and quantity was apt and great quality 10/10 no fishy taste. Then we ordered the ultimate kebab that serves two people and with beef, chicken, lamb , and something else with sides of mashed potato and pasta salad 10/10. Everything was so good and We will definitely be back again for dinner.

Dinner time

Waking from a drunken stupor and realizing I had already started off my day late, since waking up before noon was a biological impossibility, I started the painful process of getting ready. I had agreed to meet family friends for lunch, or was it a group of friends I hadn't seen in a long time or was it that I hadn't seen them since last night? It was all a blur as were the usual pleasantries when I arrived at the restaurant. As I sat in my seat and wiped away the lost sleep from my eyes, I smelled something in the air as there was a slight mist of smoke in the restaurant. It was tenderloin kebabs, lamb shanks, roiteserie chicken accented by the smell of fresh tabbouleh being eaten by the table next to us. As I processed these smells the waiter approached me, asking what I would have to drink. "Is Bloody Mary on the menu?" I asked. And like an angel he said yes. Well bye bye hangover, hello shwarma! With the rejuvenation of the Bloody Mary I suddenly recognized the people at my table. Laughter began to echo from the table between bites of kebabs and hummus filled pitas. Worth a visit and maybe worth the stay. Stay curious my friends.

Rosines is my favorite restaurant and has been for years. Every single thing on their menu is amazing and they provide excellent service. This family owned restaurant is a staple in the community and I cannot recommend enough if you've never been (or even if you have)! My go to order: Caesar salad with steak skewer, side of rice, orange blossom lemonade (sometimes with alcohol sometimes without) Their garlic sauce is amazing and they always put love and quality first. Looking for a wine pairing? Their selection is incredible. In restaurant or take away this restaurant does it all!!

Our women's league President treated us board members to an end of year thank you dinner catered by this establishment. Big compliments and kudos as we feasted on grilled chicken kabobs, ratatouille, Rosine's salad with lemon vinaigrette, hummus and pita, and rice pilav. I came back for seconds! This is definitely refreshing from the chain Mediterranean restaurants like Panini Kabob, Luna Grill and Doner G. Their extensive menu entices me to check out their restaurant for choosing more good eats!

Glorious menu alert! I want everything! Today we exercised a tiny bit of restraint... barely.

Rosine's Mediterranean Cafe is truly one of those places that gets everything right. We came here for our New Year's Eve dinner with family, and from the moment you walk in, it already feels special! The lighting is beautiful, the tables, the flooring, the entire space is elegant and warm. The bar is stunning, and as soon as you enter there was a beautifully decorated Christmas tree with twinkle lights that instantly set the mood. After being seated, there was another gorgeous Christmas tree in the back, and even the restrooms are beautiful. Every detail feels intentional and thoughtfully done. We were greeted right away with a cheerful Happy New Year, which immediately made us feel welcome and made it such a wonderful way to ring in the new year. The food is always amazing here, and this visit was no exception. I had the fattoush salad with a tenderloin kebab skewer added, and it was incredible. Everything tastes so fresh and real. You can truly tell that everything is made from scratch using quality ingredients. No shortcuts, just clean, authentic flavors that speak for themselves. The drinks were phenomenal. Niko was our waiter and he was absolutely perfect. Friendly, attentive, and with such a great personality! Everything a waiter is supposed to do, he does effortlessly, and he truly elevated our experience. Ryan was our bartender and made what is hands down the best Sidecar I have ever had, and that is my favorite drink of all time. We finished with dessert and an espresso martini, and WOW! It was so refined and delicious! You can tell the espresso is fresh and that everything behind the bar is made with care. Nothing tastes artificial. Everything tastes pure and intentional. We have been coming to Rosine's for special occasions for years, and I cannot believe I never wrote a review before. Not a chain, not overdone, just consistently amazing food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. If you are looking for a beautiful restaurant with exceptional Mediterranean food and top tier hospitality, this is it! We will absolutely keep coming back.

Pistachio Cheesecake, made in house. Delicious.
Dave A.

Our first time there - it came recommended, and we were told their rotisserie chicken is fantastic. And it was. Our server Niko was excellent - and we even tried the pistachio cheesecake (made in house) for dessert. My wife said she thinks it was the best cheesecake she has ever had. I won't disagree. Highly recommended.

It's only about 7 minutes from the parks, making it the perfect lunch or dinner spot if you're craving something flavorful that won't leave you feeling heavy. Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The spinach pastry was hands down my favorite, perfectly flaky with a delicious savory filling. The potato pastry was a close second and just as satisfying. If you visit, don't skip the pastries! We also tried the steak and chicken kebab combo plate, and both were cooked perfectly. The chicken was especially tender, juicy, and seasoned beautifully. You can actually watch the meat being cooked fresh in the back, which made the whole experience feel even more authentic. I ordered the veggie plate with falafel, baba ganoush, tabbouleh, hummus, and tahini sauce, and every single item was delicious. The falafel really stood out. It had a perfectly seasoned, crispy exterior with a soft, flavorful center. Dipping it into the baba ganoush, hummus, and tahini made every bite even better. One of my favorite things was that the meal was incredibly satisfying without feeling greasy or overly heavy. It was fresh, filling, and packed with flavor, but I still felt great afterward. The staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, and the service was impressively fast. They also have a great selection of Mediterranean spices if you want to bring some of those incredible flavors home. Huge compliments to the chef and the entire team. Between the fresh ingredients, authentic flavors, generous portions, and excellent service, Zait Zataar has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorite Mediterranean restaurants. I'll absolutely be coming back!

I placed an online order for the baked fish plate around 12:45 PM and expected a bit of a wait since it was fish. After waiting about 25 minutes, I called and was told it would be another 10-15 minutes. The restaurant was busy, so I understood. However, after waiting longer and checking inside twice, my order still wasn't ready and there seemed to be confusion about its status. In total, I waited close to an hour for an order that was placed online in advance. What bothered me most was seeing customers who ordered in person receive their food before me. It felt like my online order had been overlooked. If online ordering is offered, those orders should be monitored and fulfilled properly, especially during busy times. The food itself was good, but the plate could have been put together better. The fries were placed directly on top of the fish, which made them soggy and took away from the presentation. It would make much more sense to serve the fries on the side. Overall, the food is still good, but the long wait, confusion with the online order, and lack of attention to presentation make me hesitant to rely on the online ordering system again.

The service was wonderful; they constantly brought out warm, pillowy pita and kept checking on us without being intrusive. Unimportant, but if it matters to you: they don't serve alcohol. they do have this amazing yogurt drink you can have with food (Super good for digestion). However, at the end of your meal, you get this stunning, thick, dark coffee that is pure magic and works like a total defibrillator. LOL. Seriously, it's incredible. My former boss is from Syria and highly recommended this spot, but he never made the drive down--he really missed out. At this point, I'm counting the days until we return because everything is fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavor. Seriously - great. My former boss was from Syria and came highly recommended, but never made the drive down. At this point, I'm counting the days until we return here again, because everything is fresh, flavourful, and vibrant. Here's what we ordered: Sampler - Housemade hummus was spectacular, the baba ghanouj was so savory and a bit smokey, and the falafel was warm, wonderfully spiced and not dry at all. I also HAD to try the kibbeh, never had before - amazing, so delicate, light, not overfried or oily at all. The spices inside were so wonderful, especially when pairing with some of the dips. Mixed grill : The meat was exceptionally good, tender, perfectly grilled, and juicy. The rice was fluffy, buttery, and fragrant. Mixed seafood grill: Delectable. The fish was beautiful grilled and lightly spiced to allow the delicate fish to shine through. I am no expert at this type of cuisine, but I've eaten plenty of Middle Eastern and Armenian food, and you really can't go wrong with rice and grilled meats - it's in our blood! PS: I personally love a bit of sumac on my rice and meat, lovely, bright, sour note that is very pleasing with this food. Thank you for the wonderful service and amazing food. We loved it. I wish we had this exact place in South OC.
