My friends have been coming here for 20+years and wanted to celebrate an upcoming trip, so glad that I got to experience one of their go to restaurants. I was impressed and thrilled to find so many years of château Musar wines! We ordered a bottle and everyone else felt exactly as I did after my first taste. A depth and complexity with a smooth finish unlike any other vintner. Since they always order the half roast chicken, we just ordered different sides, and one person got the lamb salad which he devoured. I chose a ratatouille side which I shared with my friends, and they shared their sides as well. The roasted chicken had great skin, but the white meat part of the half bird was a bit dry. The food and drinks here were SO delicious! We got the garlic spread to share and my chicken pita sandwich was huge and so yummy! The sangria was very strong in the best way! Our server was super friendly and they were able to get us a table pretty quickly even though it was a busy Saturday evening and we hadn't made a reservation. Really enjoyed my dinner at Rosine's. Haven't been there for a while. We had the fattoush salad and the lamb kebab. The fattoush was perfect, fresh and crisp in every bite. The lamb was ok but we would have preferred not having essences of rosemary. We finally decided to try this place and it was great. The place is packed but spacious. We got a seat pretty quick for coming in at 6pm. The food quality is awesome. We tried the garlic butter with the naan which is complementary and the garlic butter was good 10/10. We got the wild calamari and quantity was apt and great quality 10/10 no fishy taste. Then we ordered the ultimate kebab that serves two people and with beef, chicken, lamb , and something else with sides of mashed potato and pasta salad 10/10. Waking from a drunken stupor and realizing I had already started off my day late, since waking up before noon was a biological impossibility, I started the painful process of getting ready. I had agreed to meet family friends for lunch, or was it a group of friends I hadn't seen in a long time or was it that I hadn't seen them since last night? It was all a blur as were the usual pleasantries when I arrived at the restaurant. As I sat in my seat and wiped away the lost sleep from my eyes, I smelled something in the air as there was a slight mist of smoke in the restaurant. It was tenderloin kebabs, lamb shanks, roiteserie chicken accented by the smell of fresh tabbouleh being eaten by the table next to us. As I processed these smells the waiter approached me, asking what I would have to drink. "Is Bloody Mary on the menu?" I asked. And like an angel he said yes. Well bye bye hangover, hello shwarma! The lighting is beautiful, the tables, the flooring, the entire space is elegant and warm. The bar is stunning, and as soon as you enter there was a beautifully decorated Christmas tree with twinkle lights that instantly set the mood. After being seated, there was another gorgeous Christmas tree in the back, and even the restrooms are beautiful. Every detail feels intentional and thoughtfully done. We were greeted right away with a cheerful Happy New Year, which immediately made us feel welcome and made it such a wonderful way to ring in the new year. The food is always amazing here, and this visit was no exception. I had the fattoush salad with a tenderloin kebab skewer added, and it was incredible. Everything tastes so fresh and real. You can truly tell that everything is made from scratch using quality ingredients. No shortcuts, just clean, authentic flavors that speak for themselves. The drinks were phenomenal. Niko was our waiter and he was absolutely perfect. Friendly, attentive, and with such a great personality! Everything a waiter is supposed to do, he does effortlessly, and he truly elevated our experience. Ryan was our bartender and made what is hands down the best Sidecar I have ever had, and that is my favorite drink of all time. We finished with dessert and an espresso martini, and WOW! It was so refined and delicious! You can tell the espresso is fresh and that everything behind the bar is made with care. Nothing tastes artificial. Everything tastes pure and intentional. This is a cozy family restaurant that's located in a strip mall with lots of parking. Came here for dinner with some friends on a weeknight to celebrate a birthday. We ordered the baba Ghannouj to share. It had a smoky and creamy texture and was delicious their fresh pita bread. I ordered the rotisserie chicken with the tabbouleh salad and ratatouille. The chicken was a bit bland on its own, but the side of garlic sauce made the chicken taste better. The tabbouleh was refreshing and light and the ratatouille was in a flavorful tomato sauce. Found myself in AH and decided to go here again. Had been in the past at the recommendation of a friend and thought it was pretty tasty. I had a really good upside down rotisserie chicken salad from here. The hummus and pulled chicken at the base of the salad , and mixed with their delicious house dressing was really good! The PRICES HERE though are insane. $22 for my salad, and it wasn't truly enough to even split it with someone. Every once in a while when I want to treat myself I'll come here. I'm seriously contemplating moving from Phoenix to Anaheim Hills just so I could eat at this place more often. Took a vacation to see two Laker games made a reservation for Rosine's on our way back. Then decided he might as well catch the angels home opener since we're gonna be in Anaheim anyways ended up eating there twice on our trip on our first trip. John was our server and by looking at my review last time he seems to have made his way up to server as he may have been our food runner last time. Service was excellent even found out John attended one of the Laker games that we went to versus the Cavs. Ordered more food than the pilgrims likely had as the first Thanksgiving try the quail for the first time wow absolutely amazing once again the steak kebabs were about the tenderest thing I've ever eaten in my life the Ono kebabs were also absolutely amazing. I also had the lamb lollipops entrée. It was absolutely amazing the leftover white beans which are one of the best recipes I've ever tasted in my life and the rice pilav were an amazing breakfast the next morning at our Airbnb. After that feast, we each ordered our own desserts. My son just said that he had crème brûlée and his brother had the chocolate cake and they both absolutely love them. John told us that the owner of the owner of the restaurant, Rosine is 83 years old and cooks there in the mornings I 100% percent believe that you will not taste things like this from people who just woke up and open their own restaurant today. We went back two days later on our way out of town and got takeout food. We ate it at the park down the street. It was probably one of the best picnics I've ever had in my life and I've had a lot of outstanding picnics growing up in California I would write even more about this absolutely outstanding restaurant, but my son just said he wants to show me some videos on YouTube so I'm out. Can't wait to get back to Anaheim Hills so I could dine at one of the finest establishments in all of the world. It's always a 5 dining experience at Rosine's. We've been going there for a couple decades now, maybe three!!! It's titled as a Mediterranean restaurant, but it's not like the others. A lovely local wine bar/resto feel. We always order her 1/2 rotisserie chicken entree. It comes with your choice of two sides. I always have a double order of baba ghanoush! There are many other good choices on the menu, but we just can't get past our favorite. The meal is served with warm fresh soft pita bread, and the garlic butter is irresistible. We also usually have a glass of red wine with this meal. They have a large selection and we tried two different Cabs. Rosine's has always been a nice interior and atmosphere. Over the years, she remodeled and has made it even nicer. First come first serve at their big U-shaped friendly bar too. The service too has always been consistent, friendly and efficient. Valentine's evening was packed. We were going to order takeout, but they accommodated us to sit and dine. 5/5 on all points. You'll love it! read more

Hello, I would like to leave a review for this restaurant. My fiancé and I enjoyed lunch here today for the first time at recommendation from family. We were greeted in a warm and friendly manner and allowed to choose our table. Our server was very friendly and professional. We ordered a salad and it was very sweet of them to allow us to get the onions on the side. The salad was fresh and delicious, we really enjoyed it. We were also brought warm pita bread which was also delicious. The server helped us with a suggestion to suit what kind of portion we wanted, which we greatly appreciated. We then had the beef tenderloin skewers and chose the dinner portion which was one extra skewer of tenderloin. We were very impressed with how the excellent quality beef tenderloin was cooked so perfectly. The garlic mashed potatoes which is the side we chose, were a nice generous portion and perfectly seasoned. We did not have to add any type of salt or pepper etc. to our meal, everything was just perfect. The server brought a slice of birthday cake which was very good and had fresh berries and whipped cream along with it. We also wanted to mention how delicious the orange blossom lemonade was. We can't say enough good things about our perfect dining experience, the excellent and friendly service. The ambience and lighting were perfect. One of my all-time favorite dinner spots for good reason. From the ambiance to the staff to the impressive food itself, Rosine's is a must-visit whether you're local or just visiting. I like to come here for anniversary dinners or other special occasions, because it does get pricey if you get alcohol with your meal, but it's always worth it! Their rotisserie chicken plate is to die for, with multiple sides to make it extra filling (you get to take home half your dinner for another meal of leftovers, so it's like getting two for one!). And the GARLIC SAUCE... my goodness, it's my favorite thing in the world and Rosine's is an especially perfect recipe. I've only ever gotten this meal each time I've come here because it's so satisfying that I never try anything else! I love coming here with my friends to eat and catchup!! There is plenty of seating with a great vibe. The workers are so friendly and always bring fresh pita bread and garlic spread. I love getting the Greek salad with chicken or the upside hummus chicken salad (I can't remember the name) I love love love this place, however the prices are a bit high for a salad... I'm paying 21-26 dollars for a salad which is very expensive. On average I'm paying 28 (this includes tip) for some lettuce and chicken which kind of rubs me the wrong way but I understand it's a family business and everything is expensive nowadays. I remember when Rosine's was a teeny tiny place. The chicken was amazing! Every time I get to go there, I'm always amazed. I've never had a bad dish. It's special to see Rosine and her son. The food is always melt in your mouth delicious. The menu is varied and consistent. One of the few places that has eggplant, which is a favorite of mine.The magic garlic sauce, fresh pitas, and anything you put in them are delicious. Whether it's a to go order or a sit down, I'm thankful to see they have survived and continue to make every meal we have there or at home mouthwatering! Yes, it's pricey, but everything is.
