I love the dark and modern feel of this place. It is kind of small but it is very clean and feels fancy enough for celebration. They also have a lot of out door seating. They have quite a lot to choose from on the menu and I feel like there is something for everyone. The food itself tasted great and authentic. We were very happy with our food. Service was mostly good, they seemed a little understaff, and it was sometimes hard to flag someone down when we needed something but we could tell everyone was doing their best. I docked the 1 star because we were uncomfortable for the first 20-30 minutes of our time here. We were seated close to the door and the sun hits that front window very aggressively. They absolutely need to invest in a window covering that will actually minimize the sunlight. We went on a random weekday morning right when they opened up so the place was empty. We were greeted and seated right away. Here's what we ordered: **Cheese Boreg: Very delicious! The puff pastry was nice and fluffy with a cheese filling. It was airy enough but filled with a perfect amount of cheese. It was served piping hot and tasted really fresh. (5/5) **Soujoukh Panini: One of the most interesting sandwiches I've ever had. It was sweet, salty, and savory. The fries were also crispy and very delicious. (5/5) **Chicken Shawerma Wrap: A very solid shawerma wrap with a simple side salad. (5/5) The appetizer we were served was absolutely delicious. The pita chips and tapenade were one of the best thing I've had in a very long time. The service was great in the beginning. We dined alone for the first half of our meal but two more tables filled up for rest of the duration. Near the end when we were waiting on our check, the two ladies working the front would not stop looking at their phones while chitchatting with their backs turned toward us. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient and made sure we had everything we needed. Bring a Mediterranean place, we were served a complimentary appetizer of baked pita chips with a delectable olive tapenade to get the meal started. My friend ordered the rib eye panini, which she thoroughly enjoyed. I opted for the falafel pita. I feel like it could have used a couple extra falafels. It's also filled with hummus, pickles, pickled radishes, lettuce and tomatoes. I like tzatziki and they kindly added it when I requested it. Both sandwiches came with a side of perfectly cooked and seasoned garlic fries. The prices are pretty good and the service was excellent. We all enjoyed it very much. We started off with the hummus and tzatziki appetizers, paired with a large salad to share. It was all delicious. We also had tje cheese boreg, which was yummy. My husband and I split the chicken shawarma and the luleh entrees. They were both amazing. Our friend had a luleh kebob and a chicken kebob and enjoyed them. We ordered the tapas medley for 4, which came with stuffed grape leaves, hummus, falafel, baba ganoush, muhumara, cheese boreg, pita, and tzatziki. Very disappointed & upset. We went last Friday, the day before Valentines Day, to celebrate my mom's birthday & brought her a fancy flower bouquet with a fancy base & placed it on the table center. We left & forgot the flowers on the table. I later called the restaurant & no one knew anything about it. I was given the restaurant owner's cell# and U texted him. He asked what kind of flowers & I sent him the picture. He never responded back to my phone calls & txts. I tried to reach him at the restaurant & was told he was busy & would call me back. You not only didn't have enough staff on hand, which you should have had more than enough since New Year's Eve is one of the busiest days but the staff was absolutely ridiculous. While my family and I were waiting for our take out order, 3 of your staff members came up to us and asked if we needed a table. These were the same 3 people who originally took our order. The fact that they didn't remember us ordering is a bit scary. After about 30 minutes, we asked where our food was. We honestly should have asked sooner but we decided to give them some lead time because of how busy they were. When we finally asked how much longer for our order, the girl who originally took our order asked when we called it in. WE DID NOT CALL IT IN! How do you not realize that we've been standing off to the side and you even came up to us asking if we needed a table and we said we were waiting for the order we placed. She then had the audacity to tell us we never placed the order and we had to show the receipt to prove her wrong. She admitted to never giving the ticket to the kitchen. This is beyond disappointing to say the least. My family and I were looking forward to a nice meal for the holiday and this restaurant and staff completely ruined it for us. The rice!!!! OMG best rice ever... Their rice is sooo soft and fluffy and has almonds in it?! Yes, please. The portions were so big and filling. I didn't love their Babaganoush, just cause I prefer a more tangy style. Theirs is heavy on tahini and not too much lemon or eggplant flavor. And the chicken was delicious too. Recommended by Elie at Choco Bakery. She mentioned that the ~ Chicken Pesto Chicken Panini. Had the option to get it with garlic fries or salad. We decided to get the garlic fries. Boy was i in fried heaven. The fries was so crispy and the garlic wasn't overly strong. The chicken pesto sandwich was so yummy scrumptious, filled w good amount of chicken & pesto sauce was good. Was able to share among a friend since we were going to have pastry dessert along w coffee at Choco. The associate was so patient while we decided what we're ordering .
