I started visiting this sandwich shop when I heard about a nasty group on FB who was talking trash about the owner and saying they'd boycott the establishment. It's a franchisee and I felt it was wrong to try to hurt the sales of a local small business owner who is probably already struggling since Covid and the recent California minimum wage hikes. So I decided to do my part to help them out even though I generally don't even eat sandwiches. I have been there dozens of times now and have brought large groups of friends a couple of times. My hands-down favorite sandwich is the turkey avocado. Based on prior experiences, many sandwich shops are a little skimpy with their avocado and they definitely are not. My kids love their meatball subs. There are so many meatballs that every bite of the sandwich has meat in it! They also offer these daily deals that are a pretty good value and include a fountain drink. I'm glad this place came on my radar thanks to a disgusting smear campaign on social media or I would have never found this great little sandwich shop! I have been coming to this location since it opened. Quality of service over the last 5 years has gone down. Walked in today at 1230 pm so lunch time. Expect it to be busy. It was not. Three people behind the counter and one person walked in ahead of me and ordered. No acknowledgment from any of the three employees. As I wait, still no acknowledgment from the two staff just standing around the one making a sandwich just ignores me. After 10 minutes I left. Horrible management. I have ordered online too at this location and beware. Ordered a ham and cheese. One slice of ham and one slice of American cheese on a large. Plenty of lettuce and tomatoes and yet $14.50 for basically bread. Again quality has gone down hill. Beware of management at this location. read more

There was a time when only Subway and Togo's were THE sandwich shops. Subway was only marginally good (and value), and Togo's was incredible, when compared, but were dwarfed by the available locations of Subway. The food is always good, but it seems there is only one employee everytime I come in. I came in for my mobile order, the guy was helping one guy. And then a line appeared. He told me it would be one moment. He then helped the guy who came in after me, and another family came in. Now I am waiting, I see a line and I already paid for my meal and I'm kinda annoyed that he is helping the line. The order said ready at 12:06 and now it's 12:10 I got here at 12. I'm irritated. I went in for a cheesesteak, but after getting all the way home, I realized they used roast beef instead of steak. Look, I don't mind if a shop is out of an ingredient, but you have to tell the customer so they can choose something else. I never would have ordered a roast beef sandwich. To pay a ridiculous $13 for a 6-inch sub and not even get what I asked for--without a word from the staff--is just disappointing. I ordered the pretzel bun pastrami sandwich in the app. When I got to the restaurant they told they didn't have pretzel buns. So I ordered it the regular style. Also they don't have pepper jack cheese and most of the sodas were not available. I'm not sure what's going on with that restaurant but they are either getting ready to close down for good or the manager didn't isn't managing g the restaurant well. Very disappointed. Sandwich was good. Bread tastes fresh. The prices have gone up a lot, but in California, it's part of life now. One thing I didn't appreciate was getting the combo with chips and fountain drink, only to find out that almost all of the drinks were not available. The change in ownership has seen a ton of issues. Either the soda fountain is out of every conceivable drink except punch, they don't have certain chips in stock, they run out of every type of bread, etc. The other day they simply didn't have the ingredients to make the sandwich I wanted to order. The associates make great sandwiches and the sandwiches are still good quality, but it's a clear indication that management is failing this location. read more

Have moved away about seven years ago and was back in Anaheim Hills for the first time in a while. Definitely been craving a ToGo's Pastrami. Went to their new location next to In N Out. Sandos are decent but prices were ridiculous. I'm sure this is why it was pretty empty while other businesses had a lot of customers.

The staff is wonderful, the restaurant is absolutely clean. I complimented the staff for their obvious hard work on cleanliness. I realize that it must take a team effort. I visit this Togo's a couple of times a month as it's close to my office and the sandwiches are the best! I live in L.A. County and we don't have any nearby so I always look foward to picking up lunch there when I eat out. I normally will order on the app and everything is ready and paid for when I show up - except the past two times I've been. Last week and then again, today. Last week, there was no one in the front of the restaurant but someone must have heard me come in because a young lady came out a few seconds after I arrived. I told her I was there to pick up my app order. She went over to the machine (I'm assuming it's where the orders are received and printed) and said she hadn't checked it but it would just be a few minutes while she prepared my sandwich - no big deal, it happens. So today, I did the same, ordered on the app walked in the restaurant, no one in the front again, then a just a few seconds later, a young lady (different than last weeks) and young man come out of the back, go to that same machine which prints out many orders. They find mine, and make my sandwich. In the meantime, 3 other customers came in but they were ordering there - not picking up an order. I mentioned to the young lady that the same thing happened last week and I've never, ever had problems there in the past. She explained there is a new system from corporate that they're all still learning. Fine, I understand but wouldn't you think that #1) Someone should always be in the front of the restaurant and #2) when it's close to lunchtime, shouldn't they be checking that machine for orders? Obviously, the orders are not automatically printing out. Anyway, like I said, Togos is my favorite and any sandwich I've ever had there is always good and prepared correctly. Tasty and cheap Turkey and Cranberry sandwich. I have always loved Thanksgiving leftovers on a nice sandwich bread and this was a decent facsimile. I always add sliced pepperoncinis to this combo which makes a delicious sweet and sour combo with the sweet cranberry. read more

Togos sub sandwiches is my go to dinner option as they don't disappoint. My favorite is the Turkey cranberry, and gave the hot roast beef dip a try, and the hot meatball with extra marinara hit the spot. All of the items I've tried have been great. I order in the app and within 15-20 minutes it's ready. Ordering in the app is easy, however some items on the menu in store were not in the app. You can't go wrong with a freshly made sub on the way home! read more

The Turkey Avocado sandwich is the best. So fresh and good. The Pepperoncinis are the best. Keep up the high quality! From the Avacado spread to the Turkey meat and the delicious wheat roll it's served on. Miles above a Subway sandwich. Will never eat Subways again after they made my sandwich with stale bread! Extremely frustrating experience with Togos. The workers cannot follow simple directions. They read part of the ticket leaving out some of the produce that I did not want but ignored the part where it was supposed to be heated and added cheese even when it was not on the ticket and I asked for no cheese. Keep in mind, this was an online order so all they had to do was make the sandwich exactly as the printed ticket had said. As I was on my lunch break, I was unable to go back to have them remake it. I will not be going back to this location. I normally leave a tip, even for take out orders, as I work in the restaurant business but I wish I could take that tip away. read more

I've been coming to this location for many years and have always had great service, today however was a surreal experience. My wife had ordered a sandwich box the night before online for my sons birthday party. I get there and let the two teen girls know I was there to pick up the order (pick up was 12:15 and I got there at 12:22), they look at me like they have no clue what I was talking about. I showed them the online receipt and gave them the order number, apparently it got lost somehow and they needed to call the owner. Meanwhile customers are coming in and standing around (for several minutes) as the employees struggle to find out what to do, finally they're able to retrieve my order, I asked them if they could help the guy waiting patiently behind me first. While waiting a group of three teens come in and apparently one of them worked there because he just jumped behind the counter and made him and his buddies sandwiches, bad optics especially since there were so many waiting customers. The man who was waiting behind me felt so bad about them losing my order and having to wait that he literally apologized for the store and gave me $20 even through he didn't work there. About 30 minutes later my sandwich box was ready and I headed off to my sons party. After getting to the party my wife discovered that there was no produce on the sandwiches or on the side. I went back and the two girls who had been there earlier where in the back and another worker gave me what I needed but was totally confused as he wasn't there when the whole fiasco began. I still love Togo's but would love to offer a bit of advice...please have an adult there to supervise and knows what to do if an online order gets lost. Also don't let employees who aren't working go behind the counter to make themselves food if there are customers waiting. I expected better. read more

I used to go to this Togo's location all the time when I was in college. When I recently started grabbing food to-go here again, I realized that the sandwiches are just as good as I remembered, and the service is great here too! When I came here the other day, I ordered an Asian Chicken Salad for my husband and a Roast Beef Sandwich for myself. My husband likes ordering double chicken for his salad and said the dressing was delicious. My son had half of the sandwich and said it was "amazing". I had to agree! The sandwich had tons of fresh roast beef with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and pepperoncini. Everyone is really nice here, and they actually seem to have a lot of fun working here. It's so different from some of the businesses I usually go to. These hardworking kids are having fun. It's really reflected in the customer service. Unbearably slow and not the employees fault. I placed an online order for pickup at 11:10am they said it will be ready by 11:37. I get there at 11:37 and wait until noon. When I tell them I have an online order they begin making it in front of me. Again not the 2 employees fault but I blame the company/franchisee for nickle and diming payroll to the detriment of the customer. Again, the employees were busting their butts. This is not an indictment on them. Have a dedicated person for online orders/doordash etc and 2 people for in house. Won't be returning soon after a decade of not coming here before. My husband and I went here for dinner last week. He is currently not feeling well, and all he wanted was a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup. Turns out, this location doesn't carry that item. Disappointed, we ordered something else. I had a gluten free wrap, which the employee couldn't even fold up (picture attached). HEY SAVERA!!! HOW COME YOU DON'T RESPOND TO 1 AND 2 STAR RATINGS?? So here's my review- Came in here last week for the first time in 7 or 8 years, not kidding about that. Ordered a large Hot Pastrami that was truly, truly UNSPECTACULAR - in particular, the meat was bland and didn't pop with any flavor - I say this because my daughter had taken me to the YL / Brea Togo's on Imperial the weekend before and their Hot Pastrami was excellent!! Brought back old memories of when I was a Togo's regular years ago (Don't know why I stopped, just fell out of favor over time I guess) So this was the second time in and I ordered the same thing. And guess what? It came out the same way - BLAND AND TASTELESS!! I did spot a clue though- when I came in the fellow had just finished with one customer and I was the only one there. When I gave him my order for Hot Pastrami, he turned to the prep counter and I saw the Pastrami tray or tub, whatever you call it, that you heat the stuff up in ( which is what I remembered from 8 years ago) was right there on the counter with meat in it. Great I thought, he just made one for that other guy and he'll heat mine right now WRONG!! As I watch he takes the lid off and just puts the meat straight onto my bread - no heat up at all!!! Mind you, time had passed as he got my bread, prepped it etc., so all the more reason to reheat so your product is spot-on for the customers! But no, that did not happen and I just let it unfold without a word to see if there was some chance it would be hot, that I was wrong. Well, it wasn't and I wasn't, so SAVERA, best of luck, don't waste your time with me - I won't be back! Ps - If you average the Yelp ratings over just the last year you have four 5 stars (HOW???) and three 1 star reviews, SO YOUR CURRENT 2019 RATING is 3.28!! PSS - I'm hearing customers being told they are out of large lids and all drinks except Fanta and Lemonade, need I say more?? I've recently become a big fan of Togos! Came in for dinner one night and had a bowl of chicken tortilla soup and shared a Santa Fe chicken wrap with hubby and we enjoyed it so much we had to come back. The soup is deliciously peppery. The wrap has creamy guacamole, fresh veggies and grilled chicken. You can order wraps in a wheat or spinach tortilla. Not only was the food yummy but the service we received from Shaun was awesome!! Not only is he friendly and polite but makes sure your food is stacked with delicious goodness. For my son we ordered a kids turkey bacon. This sandwich was loaded and definitely not kids size but Shaun hooked it up. On another occasion I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap. It was once again loaded and fat! The wrap is super tasty with two style croutons, grilled chicken and Caesar dressing. You can make any salad into a wrap. With check in you also receive a 20oz. Fountain drink. I tried the watermelon unsweetened iced tea and it was good. You can taste a hint of the watermelon sweetness. Love how fresh everything is and tastes. Definitely be coming back for that tortilla soup. The soups do change though and might not have the same ones available everyday. read more

Togo's has been my favorite sandwich place for a while but I just wanted to take the time to review this particular young dude who made our sandwiches last Saturday. He is a sandwich artist! He really took pride in his work and made my husband and I sandwiches so pretty that we almost didn't want to eat them. And as always, Togo's ingredients are always so fresh and their tuna and bread are SO much better than Subway's. One of my all time favorite place for lunch! Convenient and not only is the food amazing, but so is everyone that works there. Never had a problem with a phone in order and is ready when I get there. If you are in a hurry, it's best to call it in because it's ALWAYS busy especially around lunch time. Definitely a good sign that they are doing something right. My personal favorite is the CA Club....you just can't go wrong when you are craving something delicious. Their large sandwiches are not a foot long, but they make up for it by stuffing them with SOooo much meat and toppings or vegetables and they always taste fresh too. Never had a border line rotten tomato or a bruised up avocado. Our favs are the Hot Roast Beef sandwich with avocado and their Cranberry and Turkey sandwich on White or Parmesan bread. Soooo good.
