    Spicy grilled chicken.

The pictures need a upgrade, but it's the best tasting food in the mall! Service is great too.

    Cucumber tomato Falafel Hummus Salad

I like this place for the hummus falafel salad and sometimes for the mango milk tea which I know it's powered but still like it. I give the place four stars because sometimes they are out of items and I can't get what I want at that moment. The portions are big and the food tastes fresh...also the meal comes with warm pita bread which I absolutely love. Come here for a somewhat healthy reasonably priced food.

Spicy grilled Chicken Rice - not bad

Got the spicy grilled chicken rice the other day. Seasoning was pretty good. Good amount of taziki on top. Decent amount of food. But jt was just not spicy and even with the green spicy sauce, it tasted garlicky rather than spicy.

    Lamb & falafel, a shawafel.

Great new addition to the Newport Mall food court. I had a chicken shwarma, and it was very good, full of chicken. Their tahini sauce is good. My husband had a lamb shawafel - lamb and falafel on a pita. He loved it. He also loved their bubble tea. All in all this is a good place to stop when you don't want the usual mall stuff.

This place is such a ripoff!!! We bought a medium sized boba tea and there was barely 3 pieces of boba I think this placed should be permanently closed!! Also the guy wearing the orange shirt was rude (pofaced) The taste is also not at all great... too sugary

Mango milk tea with weird powdery texture

Oh my god. This place is the absolute worst. They don't call out your order and just hold your drinks on the side. And after we got the drink... jeez. We sort of threw up a little. It's most cloying sweet milk tea I've ever had with a detergent after taste that lingers. Not sure how this place even has 2 stars Order at your own peril

    A bit watery, but alright
    Christine N.

Hummus salad was watery, the chicken shwarma on top was pretty good. Mango lassi tasted a bit powdery. Workers were straight up rude and seemed pissed off from beginning to end, so don't expect any sort of customer service without pushback. I felt bad after the whole experience tbh...

Don't try their milk tea. We tried it yesterday and immediately felt sick. I don't think they make it fresh.

It was a little hard to hear and converse at times as it gets crowded, but the food was delicious and there are really unique items on the menu. Food: The duck shawarma was one of our favorites! The lamb and scallops were also flavorful and tender. The dips were delicious with the pita, but I wish the serving size for the dips were bigger. The fries were great - well seasoned! Also recommend the milky pudding, it was a nice refreshing way to end the dinner. Service: Our server was super helpful in letting us know what items are more shareable and his suggestions for cocktails. Definitely try some of the arak based cocktails. Vibe: Gorgeous interior, the mirrors and lighting really elevates the space and makes it a lovely spot for group dinners or dates.

We were lead upstairs to a table. There were 7 of us The seating was cozy but not cramped. We started with 7 family style small dishes: Hummus with Falafel Pops (chickpea purée, tahini, falafel, olive oil), Spring Burrata (roasted cherry tomatoes, toast, basil oil), Hamachi Crudo (passionfruit vinaigrette, citrus zest, cucumber, mint, sesame tuile), Scallops (carrot puree, serrano pepper, brown butter sauce), Tenderloin Skewer (zaatar chimichurri, fresh herb salad), and Shiitake Stuffed Grape Leaves (tomato coulis, yogurt foam, herbs). Everything was delicious. The hummus was well seasoned the falafel had a nice crunch. It went well with the warm puffy gyro bread that came to the table. The burrata was wasm and creamy. I love the vinaigrette on the fish. I ended up eating most of it. The scallops were the sweetest, most tender ones I have ever had. The tenderloin skewers were tender and well seasoned. I liked the grape leaves but the rice consistency was very soft almost mushy and you can barely tell there were mushrooms. There was barely any mushrooms flavor. Next we all chose an entree. I got the duck breast, my husband and daughter each had the beef tenderloin. The duck breast was smaller than i expected. The skin was nicely seared and very crispy but boy did it give my jaw a workout. It was done medium rare. It was juicy but tough. The small beef tenderloin was tender and smoky. The waiter poured the sauce over the tenderloin for added flavor. Finally dessert was a fruit plate with ice cream and pudding. The fruit was fresh and the flavors of the ice cream and pudding unique. It was a nice end to a good brunch. The price was a little expensive at $85 a person.

After making the reservation, I peruse the menu picking the daisy deciding what to eat. On this visit, Chef Ayesha was here and I had the good fortune to speak to her and shake her hand. What a charming lady! I feasted on Labneh topped with strawberries, pickled fennel and herbs. Frena mopped up each morsel. Shukette Cherries was new on the menu and had oomph with a tangy marinade of lime, cilantro and serrano chili. The Pea Party 4.0 of snap peas, asparagus, pea shoots and snow peas was a bright chlorophyll color and tasted refreshing. Egyptian spiced chicken wings were simply mouthwatering. Dipped into a ramekin of white harissa flecked with sumac, this sauce is divine. I had a non alcoholic summer drink that Joseph had recommended. At Shukette, the server will tell you if one has ordered too much which Vladimir did. It's easy to get full quickly which happened to me and I could only manage three wings. When Vladimir came to ask if I wanted dessert, I requested a wheelbarrow instead. He giggled. My desire is to eat at Shukette once a month and so far it has been a dream come true. Highly recommended.

This is officially my new go to spot and I'm going to be telling everyone about it. I got there right at our reservation time, but the uptown trains had completely stopped and my friend had to walk all the way from Canal St to the East Village. It took her about 30 minutes to get there (), but the staff were so kind about it. They never made me feel uncomfortable or pressured to order while I waited, which I really appreciated. I did end up ordering a couple things so there would be food on the table when she arrived. We got the za'atar fries and the falafel with tahini and pita. Delishhhh For our mains, my friend got the chicken kebab which looked fantastic, and I got the veggie couscous bowl. It was unbelievable. It tasted exactly like the couscous my mom and safta made when I was growing up, even down to the broth being served with it. Eating it honestly made me feel like I was six years old again. This was one of my favorite meals as a kid and I haven't had it like that in so long, so I was so happy to find a place that does it this well. The vegetables were perfect with zucchini, butternut squash, cauliflower, and chickpeas, and I loved the addition of raisins and onions. Everything was also really reasonably priced for what you get. The energy in the restaurant was great and I loved that they have hooks for coats so you're not crammed at the table with jackets and bags. Overall just such a fantastic experience. This is easily my new favorite restaurant in the city and I cannot wait to come back.

The greek salad and dips were also solid, but didn't stand out as much as the other dishes.
