Decent basic food and portions. Didn't love it, but didn't hate it. Definitely will never replace any kind of restaurant made by a family with years of familial recipes that make their food special. Convenient to order online and pickup. The interior is bland and modern without any cozy vibes. I would come here again if I wanted something semi healthy but was having a low sensory investment day. Not needing anything special in my palate. Parking gets very busy here. Handicap parking is actually a little distant from the entry. read more

I finally made it in to Hummus Republic and tried a build your own bowl. I got a chicken bowl with lots of toppings. It was pretty good. They have some extra topping options compared to other chains. My bowl was a bit "wet" for my usual taste and the price was fairly steep. But I'd consider coming back. read more

There's other better Mediterranean/Greek food I would recommend before this place. The food was average quality. Additionally, I placed my order online. The order was missing an item and when I called the restaurant to ask for a refund or remake, they told me to call back the next day and talk to the manager. Every single time I place an order to be picked up it is incorrect. Today 5 (FIVE) items were missing from my order. Food is good but they are sloppy. This place is sooooo goood! Everything is so fresh and flavorful. You can get a wrap, a pita, or a bowl. I went with a bowl. We kind of pick and choose more or less what we like and customize to your liking as you go. First choose your base - couscous or chickpeas - of half and half. Then greens. Then any three kinds of hummus or feta. The harissa hummus and the traditional hummus are really great. I didn't really care for the Kalamata olive hummus. They also had zesty feta and tzatziki as options along with hummus - although they aren't vegan options. The protein selection consists or meats and 2 vegan options - falafel and mushroom shawarma. Both oh so flavorful. The mushrooms were warm, had great seasonings to it - not just plain roasted - big thumbs up to that. These falafels are fried fresh when you order them, and that's awesome because it keeps them crispy and delicious. Enjoying them piping hot is the way to go, and they're generously sized too! After that you can choose any or all from tomatoes, red onion, beets, picked red cabbage, white cabbage, tabbouleh and olives were some that I chose ( I guess there was a kind of cheese there too - not vegan) They have dolmas and grilled eggplant that can be added for extra $ Then comes the dressings! ALL VEGAN! That's the best part ! I loved the green sauce called grandmas hot sauce. Gotto go back for trying the other sauces... you can actually choose a few sauces and have them all into ur bowl.. They also have a tahini shake - I haven't tried it bcoz I was too full from my bowl and I had left overs. There's a few kind of lemonades - the one in the pic is ginger and turmeric lemonade - love the kick from the ginger. There was pomegranate lemonade, lavender and sage lemonade, plain lemonade, unsweetened ice tea to name a few ... Everyone was super friendly and helpful. It was a nice quiet afternoon. There are tables near the windows and it would be great if they figured a way to open the curtains so we can enjoy the outside view. Hopefully soon ! Overall I see myself going here in near future and it seems like a great deal for $12 a bowl with leftovers ! read more

I seriously love this place!!! The food is outstanding. I love all the variety of vegetables and beans, grains, meats, etc. So many different ways to customize your bowl. A good deal of gluten free choices as well. The service was friendly and efficient. Reasonable prices. My new go to lunch spot! You have the option to make your own bowl, wrap, or pita! I got the bowl with a base of couscous and spring mix, steak, and all the toppings. It was about $14 after tax. Just took out lunch from Hummus Republic for the first time, and it is *delicious*!! A family operation, the staff behind the counter shared that we are enjoying their grandmother's recipes. What lucky grandkids to have inherited such treasures. I enjoyed a chicken shawarma bowl with chicken over greens - including fresh kale, eggplant hummus, some chickpeas, and just little couscous. Finished it up with more fresh and pickled veggies and a zaatar lemon vinaigrette. The chicken was tender and with a flavor bomb of awesomeness. The place is clean and modern inside. Clearly, a labor of love, a tribute to their grandmother, I am sure she is proud. We are fortunate to have this family sharing their precious food with us in the 80027. read more

Highly recommend Hummus Republic! Everything here is delicious to the point that I would eat here every day if I could. Entire family loves it. We've ordered takeout from here multiple times and had bowls, wraps and pitas with lemon chicken, chicken shawarma, Moroccan beef, falafel, and various toppings. Can't go wrong with any of it. Their sweet potato waffle fries are amazing as well...perfectly crispy and flavorful. Food is always fresh, quick and so tasty. Never disappoints! read more
